    Carnitas Street Taco

Fresh food and good service! They came out to our facility again for lunch and we enjoyed them. They have a great setup where we can get four different sauces (the guacamole salsa is good and has a little kick). Each time they come out we will make sure to get lunch from them.

The burritos are a nice size!

Wowwwww guys! We walked to their food truck location on a whim and are so happy we did! We got the shrimp asada burrito, some shrimp quesatacos and an Agua Fresca. I really loved how the food came with veggies and fixings on the side! The truck is nice and clean, the service was super friendly, and the food was delicious! Definitely recommend! If you follow them on insta they list their food truck schedule and specials. I think they're usually there T-Th on the corner of Shaw and Maroa

Cool little taco spot, bomb tacos, and ice cream for the kiddos. The asada and el pastor were very well flavored. The hot sauce has a nice kick of . The horchata was refreshing on a hot Freno day. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who was very helpful. The place is clean, small with 3 tables that's seats 4 each and 2 benches outside to seat another 4-6 each. Will be back soon!

Our usual spot for tacos was closed on Sunday, so after finding Garrafa on here, I decided that we should go try it out. First impression once you pull into the parking lot is there's not a lot of spots available. It's a small restaurant, they only have two tables of 4. After we ordered, we sat at one of the tables and the food was out fairly quickly. Everything was great, the only complaint my husband had was that it was pretty greasy. After we ate, we decided to try their mazapán ice cream. It was an interesting texture but the flavor was so good! We'll definitely keep an eye out for their food truck that they also have and get their food again.

AMAZING TACOS!!! Any chance I get I always try to come here because I LOVE their quesabirrias, I always get them and every single time IT TASTES BETTER THAN THE LAST! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND COMING HERE. Also, their staff is spot on and very kind. (Btw get their ice cream is bomb!

Small shop, big tastes! My husband and I came to try their famous birria tacos and added on a small nacho to the order. Quesabirria tacos with crispy taco shell were bomb! The meat is incredibly juicy and tender, the cheese was loaded on and melty, and the crunchy taco shell was perfection! I haven't had much crunchy taco shells, and I appreciate the overall mix of textures as they come together. Consume costs extra, but we went ahead and included it in our order, and it was much needed to get the taco shell to a nice crispy but soaked state. Nachos came loaded with toppings to the point where tortilla chips were hidden. Tortilla chips looked homemade and were supremely tasty. All of the sauces, cheese, beans, asada came together perfectly. Top nacho experience for me!

As someone who moved to Fresno from the Bay Area, this is a solid place for birria tacos! They also serve ice cream and other treats if you're looking for dessert afterwards. Just an fyi that parking can be a bit tricky since it's a small lot. There's only 3 indoor and 2 outdoor tables, but the small dining area fits the cozy hole-in-the-wall vibe!

My husband and I tried them for lunch today and we both really thought the food was great. The salsas were also really delicious and spicy. We enjoyed the grilled onions and jalapeño that came with the food. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We're already talking about what we want to try next time.

Great customer service. Great tacos. Not overly expensive. I tried them at the food truck on FCC's campus. I'd eat here again - i want to try the restaurant experience.

Quesabirria tacos combo and consome. Agua de guava y fresa.

Stopped by the Olive Ave location for nieve de garrafa. We ended up ordering a full spread. We couldn' pass up the sign indicating that they have tacos de canasta on the weekends. You don't see tacos de canasta often so we couldn't pass it up. The gentleman at the register was so nice, friendly, and helpful. The food was out very quickly and everything was hot and fresh. We had the quesabirria combo, consome, tacos de canasta, agua de guava y fresa, and garrafa style ice cream in: coco, mazapan, chongos, beso de angel, and Tamarindo. The quesabirrias we delicious and hearty and we also ordered the consome for dipping! The tacos de canasta were also very good! Both orders of tacos come with all the fixings, too! The agua de guava y fresa was so good, and had lots of yummy guava flavor. The nieves de garrafa were all so good....all 5 flavors we ordered were perfection and I can not pick a favorite! They were ALL so very flavorful! The mazapan flavor was soooo good, the coco was so rich in coco flavor, the beso de angel had pieces of wafer cookies in it, the tamarindo had a perfect hint of saltiness. Again, I can't choose a favorite because they were all so perfectly delicious! I seriously only went in for nieve de garrafa but left with a full tummy of goodness!

Found this place after leaving the zoo. The location was a bit sketchy at first. But don't let that fool you. Food was fantastic and great customer service. They were really friendly. The place was also very clean as well. Will definitely come back next time I come to Fresno.

All I can say is... bomb!!! I got the quesabirria combo & consome, they were delicious! Food was served quickly and made very well. Chefs kiss fr. It's a little hole in the wall, but should not be overlooked. I'm not from Fresno, but if I'm ever here again, I'll be coming back!

This place is officially bookmarked for every future drive through Fresno!…read more The lengua and chicharrón tacos were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend this place enough.

Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!

This location took over the old Popeyes on McKinley and First. Not the best location but plenty of good food (Pho) around this intersection. Not that that matters to me... some of the best foods I've ever had are in the most unexpected places. You order at the counter and they bring it out to your table. The girl behind the counter greeted us right away, very friendly. We got to sample a couple of their Agua Frescas before making our decisions as well. I got 3 different tacos: Asada, Cabeza, and Tripa (extra crispy). He got all Asada. We weren't huge fans of their Asada. We both agreed it felt/looked/tasted more like ground beef... wasn't cooked how we'd like. Asada was in last place for me. Cabeza was good, came in second. The Tripa was my favorite. Very good. My friend got Lengua and Adobada-- pretty sure she enjoyed hers. For the drink, we agreed on the Cucumber one-- it was very refreshing/yummy. We also sampled the Horchata. It was good but slightly too sweet for me. It's not very big inside but there's still a good amount of tables for guests to sit at. 8-10? More or less. They keep the tables clean... but, there are a lot of flies buzzing around the windows. We had to battle with one very persistent/pesky fly trying to get our food. It's a shame because that definitely docks a point, sorry. Tacos were good, not the best I've ever had though. I know Asada may be a basic meat choice but we've had some damn good Asada... they missed the mark. Also, I hope they find a way to resolve the fly issue. With that said-- I've gotta put them in the middle.
