I'm usually afraid to go to the dentist but he really is just the nicest! I was in and out pretty fast. Dr. even texted me to check in and made sure I knew he was available if I had any questions. Not to mention, everyone in the office is super kind. I remember that the pain wasn't bad, however the bottom right of my lip is still numb today. I texted Dr. Koshgerian about it & was set up for a follow up a week or so later. Came in for a quick visit and he reassured me that it was normal (it is a risk of removal after all) and hopefully, I'd regain the feeling in a couple months! I'm hopeful that it will. I appreciate the attentiveness and kindness they had toward me. If I ever need any future procedures, I'll definitely know where to go.

What this means for you is that you must book appointments months in advance. It's at least 4-6 weeks in between each appointment. It slowed things down more than I wanted to, but again chose him because of the referrals I was given to him. He is the best in town.

The urgency and manner in which these services were presented felt more like a sales pitch than a genuine medical recommendation. It was clear that the focus had shifted from preventive care to aggressive upselling. Concerned by the sudden change in my treatment plan and unsure of the validity of their recommendations, I decided to seek a second opinion at a different dental office. The feedback I received there was completely different -- there was no indication of the issues previously mentioned, and none of the suggested treatments were deemed necessary. Another point worth noting: while patients are warned they will be charged for missing an appointment, the same level of accountability doesn't seem to apply to the office -- I waited nearly 30 minutes past my scheduled time many times before being seen. That lack of consideration, combined with questionable treatment practices, was enough to lose my trust. I will not be returning to this office. I encourage anyone considering treatment here to always get a second opinion before agreeing to any additional procedures. Be cautious of high-pressure tactics disguised as urgent care. Dr. Yu started by saying that we needed to get aquainted since we had never met. He asked simple questions and assured me that most people's fears are far worse than the reality. The exam was gentle and Dr. Yu constantly reassured me that all was going well. He was thorough and explained each step. He took his time and did not rush. (At this point, I will say that you will probably wait past your appointment time, but when you are seen, you will receive all the time necessary.) As it turned out, I needed no peridental work. After the trauma, I had a big black triangle near my front teeth and incisors. Every periodontist from Dr. Pasquinelli in SF to a famous one in NYC said it's impossible to fix the papilla. It's one of the hardest thing to do as a periodontist. Then I found Dr. Nordland's website and flew in for a consultation. He said he could do it. I was skeptical at first. Some of the reviews were daunting and made me doubt Dr. Nordland. I went on my gut and did the surgery. Right after the surgery, it looked like it worked, but it slowly started retracting. I was so angry that I even wrote an email saying how dissatisfied I was with the surgery after 3 months. Little did I know the healing is a 2 yr process. After 2 yrs, my dentist said my gums looks really good and it's amazing what the surgery did. What Dr. Norland did was place a graft and over time that graft will grow towards the teeth. Hi, I was looking…read moreforward of having surgery with Dr. Brad Hunt but after my consultation was finalized I was informed that I would be charged the visit despite me having provided my insurance. Later I called my insurance and found out they were out of network, I asked twice before my visit if my insurance would cover, I was misled to believe that it would and there would be no charges at the time of the visit. It extremely frustrating to be surprised with a bill after you are seen. What if I didn't have money to pay the visit? Be sure to ask if they are in network because the staff will lead you to believe they are.
