I went to Dr. Stafford to get braces for myself at age 21. I was a little weary getting braces in my older age, but after everything was said and done, I was extremely pleased with the results and I was glad I did it. I number of my friends said that once their braces were off they could always feel some glue on their teeth, but with Dr. Stafford, he did a great job cleaning my teeth from all of the glue after the braces were removed. About a year ago, I was referred to Dr. Stafford by my daughters dentist due to a molar that wasn't cooperating and the need for braces. My daughter got the braces for a short time (limited phase 1) and had them removed when the teeth got into position. When we returned to her regular dentist, EVERYONE in the office ( including the dentist!) was blown away by the improvement they saw in her teeth. I recently had Invisalign treatment done by Dr. Stafford at their office in Pleasanton. I didn't live near by but since they had great reviews I thought I'd go in for a consultation. I came in for my appt back in Aug of 2020 during the COVID pandemic and the office had made all the proper accommodations to be completely safe and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Stafford and his team ran X-rays on my teeth and then laid out a treatment plan in which made me feel very confident in what would be the outcome of making my teeth completely straight. I proceeded with the treatment plan with Dr. Stafford and his team and they were very flexible with the payment options and made it easy for me to make my decision. It's now 6 months later and I have completed my Invisalign treatment and I'm absolutely satisfied with the outcome of my teeth and couldn't be happier. Dr. Stafford and his team are so so genuine and sincere from the very first time you walk through the door, to well after the braces come off. They make the entire process easy from start to finish. On the first consultation, I was given multiple options. Dr. Stafford was upfront about a couple problem areas, his recommended treatment, and even about the emotions around getting adult braces. Jan went over the pricing, which again all costs were up front. I think I was there a good 45 minutes asking questions. They were extremely patient, understanding, and empathetic. I had been considering braces for almost 3 years, and had multiple consultations. I felt so assured with this team, that I called the next day to set the official "go" date. Over the next 1.5 years, every appointment went really well. I usually started each appointment with Lindsey or Jessica, they were both always friendly, gentle, and attentive, making sure everything felt right and comfortable before I left. As Dr. Stafford mentioned from the start, I had a couple problem areas. He worked closely with my regular dentist to make sure they worked around it and that I was happy with the results.
