    Best Salesman Ever, Soto!!

1/4/2025: Update to the original review... A little back story here: The vehicle I bought was a "DEMO" vehicle; it had 866 miles put on it by an employee at the company. We bought 2 other brand new vehicles from this dealer within 2 weeks of me buying the Escape ST-Line (over $100,000 combined). About three weeks after owning the brand new Vapor Blue 2024 Ford Escape ST-Line (bought on 10/5/2024), I left work and saw that there was paint damage and cracks on the front left bumper. After doing some investigating trying to figure out when this (what I thought was a) hit and run happened, I made it to October 6th in my Snapchat history, less than 24 hours after I bought the vehicle. The paint damage to the bumper is visible with a time stamp on the video! I also discovered that if you really knew what to look for, you could vaguely see the damage in the pictures we took with the vehicle before leaving the dealership on October the 5th. The dealership received this video documentation from the first day I notified them of this on November 2nd. I reached out to the dealer on November 2nd with what I discovered to notify them that they sold me a brand new vehicle with undisclosed damage present. Who would think to look a vehicle head to toe that is being advertised as brand new?! The salesman I had also agreed with that statement. It's brand new, there hasn't been a previous owner who could have done any damage. They said they submitted a claim and they would reach out when they had more information as to what was next. Around 2.5 weeks went by and I still hadn't heard anything, so I gave another call. Three calls in two days to be exact, because every single time I asked the front desk to speak to Soto (my salesman who submitted the damage claim), he was busy and I wasn't getting my calls returned. At the start of the third call, the front desk gave me to Colton to speak to (a sales manager I believe). That was the first time he had heard of the issue...in two and a half weeks of time. I told Colton that the longer I had to think about it, I no longer wanted the vehicle because I bought brand new to avoid any type of undisclosed damage. He started to state the bumper can either be fixed by them (aka replaced, because it was cracked!!) or I could trade the vehicle in but I would not be getting what I paid for it. They would not give me my money back for selling it with undisclosed damage. (One of their employees (I was told a sales manager when I bought it) drove the vehicle for 866 miles. The vehicle got detailed at their detail department while I was filling out the paperwork for the vehicle. You're going to tell me that NOBODY noticed the damage?! Yeah, right. When this was mentioned on the phone, they quite literally had nothing to say.) I told him I would not be taking any type of depreciation because this whole situation is their fault and I would not be punished for damage that they caused while the vehicle was in their possession. This led into people playing hot potato with this issue, not returning phone calls, and one of the employees essentially calling me a liar stating that time stamps can easily be altered on photos and videos; not on Snapchat they can't (where the video came from with the damage present less than 24 hours after buying the vehicle). At one point, they told us on the phone that they've fixed damage like this before and that other customers were fine with it just being fixed. Great. I'm not other customers. I'm not going to settle for something unacceptable. They also offered me to trade the vehicle in for $22,000; I spent almost $36,000 on it less than two months prior. These people are out of their minds. After over a month of being ignored, phone calls not being returned, and employees being blatantly rude whenever we could get them to answer the phone (Colton and George), we reported Gary Yeomans Ford Palm Bay to Ford corporate. About a week and a half later, we were notified through Gary Yeomans Ford Palm Bay that they would be purchasing the vehicle back from us, but that I was not going to be getting the sales tax back from the purchase. I ended up losing around $3,500 due to this (I don't know the exact amount). We found out that the big boss TJ knew nothing about this incident. George had told us previously that he was the furthest up the chain and that there was nobody above him to speak to at the dealership, so, we were quite annoyed to discover that on top of the rudeness from this dealer, we were also being lied to. All in all, I no longer own the 2024 Ford Escape ST in Vapor Blue. As of a couple days ago, they have it listed for sale as a Ford Gold Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (it has about 5,000 miles, WATCH OUT!). This has been quite a DISGUSTING experience. I know dealerships have a bad reputation, but I NEVER expected something to this extent.

We took our brand new Ford Edge in for a simple "rattle" in the center console cup holder area. Visit #1 went smoothly. They applied tape on the backside of the console and the rattle was gone. A week later, it came back. I know interior rattles can be a pain to find/fix so I wasn't to mad. Visit #2: took the car back for the same reason. Dropped the car off at 8:00am and got a call at 5pm saying they couldn't duplicate the issue. I asked what they did and was told by the service advisor that they took the car on an extensive test drive and over multiple bumps and no rattle. Again, I wasn't to mad but after reviewing the dash cam footage, we were lied to. They NEVER drove the car except to the lift where they did an oil change. Then back to a parking spot where it sat from 11am - 5pm. Visit #3: took the car back at 10:30am. Spoke to another service advisor about the issue and told him EVERYTHING about them lying to us and that we have dash cam footage to prove it. I also told him the dash cam is still in the car so nows the time to make it right. Well, guess what... We called the dealership at 4pm after hearing nothing ALL DAY. Was told "oh yeah, we've been meaning to call you. Your car is ready and they couldn't duplicate the issue". This time, dash cam video proves it was taken on a test drive and you can also hear the "rattle" on the video. The technician was caught saying "yeah I hear it but there's nothing I can do to fix this". Then stopped to try to diagnose the tattle on a side street. He was tapping and hitting the center console and even confirmed the noise... The car was parked at 11:45am and sat there till WE called and showed up after 5pm. Bottom line is, Palm Bay Ford service department lied continuously and never made an effort to make things right. I'm beyond disappointed in the lack of service and lack of professionalism.

Great service department. That's it. Ask for ford flex financing. Otherwise if you don't qualify for that good luck

Buyer and Southeastern Honda customers beware. Honda vehicles are no longer built to the standard…read morethey once were, and the service experience at Southeastern Honda has similarly declined. Despite being a loyal, repeat customer since 2020, I have found that Southeastern Honda does not appear to value long-term customer relationships. I purchased a brand-new 2019 Honda Pilot from Southeastern Honda in 2020 and have consistently returned to their service department for all maintenance. This includes timely oil changes, fluid flushes, and all manufacturer-recommended maintenance and service minder requirements. The vehicle currently has approximately 75,000 miles. Despite this careful maintenance, the vehicle has required several costly repairs. These began with the replacement of the Honda Sensing camera and radar units, which cost approximately $2,300 in parts and labor. More recently, all warning lights illuminated on the dashboard, and diagnostics revealed the need for fuel injector replacement, as well as a timing belt and water pump replacement due to leakage ("timing belt wet"). This most recent repair totaled $3,363. The fuel injector issue is a well-documented problem affecting several Honda models, including the Pilot and Ridgeline. Honda issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) and extended the warranty to 10 years or 150,000 miles for certain 2016-2019 Honda Pilots. Unfortunately, not all VINs are included in this coverage, despite identical issues occurring within the same model years....my vehicle being one of them. Knowing this, Southeastern did nothing to try to lower the cost to help. Additionally, Southeastern Honda's pricing is excessive, and there was no effort made to accommodate or support a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars at their dealership. Labor is charged at $200 per hour. While the actual work performed amounted to approximately 4.5 hours (approximately $900 in labor), I was charged $1,774.36 based on "book labor" rather than actual time spent. On top of this, a $90.57 credit card processing fee was added. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage other customers to consider alternative Honda dealerships and to explore reputable independent repair shops for maintenance and repairs. In many cases, independent shops provide comparable or superior service at a significantly lower cost than dealership service departments. As for myself, I will no longer be giving my business to Southeastern Honda. Overall, this experience has been disappointing and has significantly diminished my confidence in both Honda's reliability and Southeastern Honda's commitment to customer service.
