He said the U…read morejoints were bad I did not see this, he removed the 3 U Joints and I gave him $150 for parts and $150 for labor have invoice 9917856 for $300. He went for parts 3 U joints, he could not find them at Bushnell Fl. Auto Zone, Advance Auto, or Napa. He went to Inverness Fl. O'Reilly Auto Parts none there. He said he would get them in Ocala the next day. That did not happen. I had to call / text him he said he was looking for the parts, on May 31 he said he was going to order them on E Bay. June 1 I called and he wants me to order them I told him I gave him $150 for parts He said he would order them but he never did. This has now been a week with my truck being down. I call / text him and after a couple calls he said he would return the $150 for parts on June 3 that night that did not happen. So now I have to get another guy to fix my truck and I'm out $300. push parts and labor. I have all the texts between us on what was said and not done. I would like my money back. I took the car in to Hilton (being new to the area I asked friends for recommendations). I told them what was going on and said that if it needed a new radiator I wanted the biggest , best I could get because I didn't want to have any trouble with it. after about an hour I got a call ...it was a bad radiator cap! they charged me for the cap and sent me on my way. I haven't had any issues with it since. My wife and I now take our cars there for all of our auto service. Friendly, they know what they are doing, and they fix the problem rather than just changing out a bunch of parts!

The manager at that time apologized and said the next time I come in for an oil change, it will be on them. Fair enough. Except... This morning I went in for an oil change - crickets. No record. Plus they charge $6.90 for shop supplies and $2.43 for a "convenience fee". And they compute the taxes on all of the above. So the $59.99 oil change became $74.52. I call that deception, along with their forgotten promise.
