I have been seeing Dr. Garza for the past 23 years. From the time I was a toddler, I suffered from many different physical complications including allergies, severe incontinence, chronic urinary tract/bladder, kidney and ear infections as well as constipation from the endless daily antibiotics. My family had taken me to different doctors and another chiropractor regularly with no improvement for any of the problems I'd had. At 8 years old, my primary care physician had sent me to numerous specialists and after countless traumatizing and uncomfortable tests, they decided that I should have a catheter placed with a urine drainage bag attached for the incontinence. Fortunately, my family wanted a 100th opinion and that was when we started seeing Dr. Armando Garza. Within one week of treatment from him, my infections CLEARED and in two weeks I no longer had incontinence issues. He found that my pelvis was so far out of alignment that the nerves were not communicating to my brain that I had to drain my bladder, which was why I never felt the urge to go.  I was able to stop all antibiotics immediately and the only thing I've taken since for urinary tract health has been cranberry extract (CranActin).   Throughout the years, I continued to see Dr. Garza for all my health-related needs. He has helped me with carpal tunnel syndrome, excruciating menstrual cramps from PCOS, acid reflux and heartburn as well as neck and back pain. Just recently, my mother and I were in a car accident and both of us got bad whiplash. I went to see him right after the ER trip and I haven't suffered through any debilitating back and neck pain or headaches since.    With PCOS, it's typically a little more difficult to conceive and he helped me get my body functioning at as optimum of a level as possible. After two months of trying, in combination of Clomid (prescribed by my OBGYN) and chiropractic care, we got pregnant! I am currently 5 1/2 months along and I have sought regular chiropractic visits with Dr. Garza from day 1. I may be one of the fortunate ones, but I have not had any morning sickness and NO discomfort and I KNOW that that is due to his care and treatment. The only time I feel uncomfortable is when I let too much time pass between a good follow up... Hey! Babies and the extra blood volume gets heavy on your joints! Prenatal chiropractic care is a MUST! I will forever be grateful to Dr. Garza for saving me as a child from the horrific outcomes I would have inevitably faced without his help. I love coming to Dr. Garza!!! He is literally the best chiropractor ever. The location is convenient, right in Kalihi so it's totally close to home. The first visit was a lot longer than the other visits just because he has to explain everything and go through everything. The spine is really interesting and he explains why things are happening the way it is and if there is something wrong with your spine. I told him I might has scoliosis and the only way to know for sure is to take an x-ray but he did say you can see it through the curvature of your back when I bend forward. I love how honest and true he is with you and that's what I appreciate the most. I love those chiropractor videos onlines so I always get a kick out of it when he cracks everything. Idk why, I just love it so much! Parking is free, he is located on the second floor so the only problem I see would be if patients have a hard time coming up the stairs. However that's not the case for me so everything is good. After your initial visit, the visit time will shorter and you'll just go to adjust the next and back and done. Definitely do recommend! Dr Garza is truly a TREASURE! We are so blessed to have found him ... it started with us wanting to have our daughter seen by a chiropractor for her teenage acne and basic wellness as she does a lot of ballet on pointe and is growing so rapidly. He did a thorough first consultation on her and we brought her back weekly for a few months and happy to say she is aligned, her skin cleared tremendously and she is feeling better than ever !!! I am so grateful for Dr. Garza! I was experiencing awful migraines however when I went to see Dr. Garza consistently, my migraines lessened a lot! There was a lightness that my head felt, instead of a constant heaviness, after my adjustment. He has also helped my son with his allergies and reflux. I first heard of Dr Garza from my dad. Just recently Dr has been making trips to Molokai to do some work on people here, one of them being my father who deals with arthritis and other stuff. I have Systemic Lupus as well as chronic back pain. Mind you I've never seen a chiropractor in my life and was honestly scared to do so. After much convincing from my father and telling Dr about what I'm going through, I tried it out. Prior to my visit, when my back would give out and I would walk, it would be as if one leg was shorter than the other and I would compensate the pain by leaning on the not painful side. After my first consultation and appt with Dr here on Molokai I could feel a difference. First off, he has amazing bed side manner. Very calm but also very informative of explaining each step or procedure he is doing. Before any step he checked to see if I was aligned or not. Boy was my whole body out of whack. Totally not aligned and no surprise to me I was definitely one leg shorter than the other and I could feel it when he stretched me out prior to starting. After about 10-15 minutes of doing his magic and doing a re-measure...I was aligned again and I never felt better. I saw him two more times after and each time I feel so much better. And what he does is much more than re-aligning your bones...its all got to do with your nerves as well and he explained that. I see dr Garza once a week and have been for the last few years. Every visit he gives me all of his attention and truly care about my treatment. As a child, I would get many headaches and was able to "handle" them through medication and massages. It wasn't until I was treated by Dr. Garza that, through adjustments, I no longer use pills to help me function. I've also dealt with painful and debilitating menstrual cramps as a teenager and well into my adult years. This is the second time I've left a review for Dr. garza but after today's adjustment, I just had to come back and rave about him again. Dr. Garza's commitment to his patients' wellbeing is unparalleled. I've been a chiropractic patient since college (okay. 20+ years, but who's counting) and have a myriad of spinal issues. But this recent persistent radial pain implied that my bulging disc between c6 and c7 was getting worse. I haven't slept well in months, and the pain was so bad at times I felt sick to my stomach. Today was my fourth session in two weeks to try and get to the root of the pain. Dr. Garza was concerned that we hadn't made more progress with my pain management and asked me if he could try a deep adjustment of my c-spine; right at the base of my neck. I sit here, 40 minutes later, in tears of relief. I had no idea the magnitude of pain and pressure I had been carrying around ...everything feels open, clear, and pain free. I can't thank Dr. Garza enough, he's amazing at what he does. I had initially gone in because I was having terrible migraines and wanted to try a more holistic approach to healing. During my first session, Dr. Garza took the time to speak with me about lifestyle, work and other factors as to why the body reacts the way it does. He connected all the symptoms and his observations and put me on a series of treatments to help me back on track. The first session will be the longest (about an hour) with the follow up sessions to range between 15-30 minutes. I'be been meaning to put up a post after my first session but couldn't find the time. I have been seeing Dr. Garza since 2014 and he has helped me so much. My life has completely changed over the last 4 years and the work that Dr. Garza has done with me has made that possible. In 2014 when I first started to see Dr. Garza I had constant widespread pain particularly in my neck shoulders and head. After tests for everything under the sun and every kind of treatment imaginable I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, but it always seemed there was more to it. I had x-rays and MRIs of my neck over and over, and was always told that there was very little structural damage, but it just kept getting worse. After I graduated nursing school in 2011, all I had left to do was take my nursing licensing exam but I was in too much pain to study for it. I had to move back home, just when I thought I would be starting my life it felt like it all ended. I worked less and less, quitting entirely by 2015. I stopped contacting friends and swore of off of romantic relationships. It all just seemed too hard. I rarely left the couch for a few years. By the time I started seeing Dr. Garza I was on a number of medications including Morphine, Percocet, Ativan, and Soma. And I was still in constant pain. Initially I saw Dr. Garza for chiropractic adjustments which gave me some of the only relief I ever experienced at the time. Later, I began seeing him for NRCT (neural relief center technique) a technique that works to help relax the nervous system and relieve tension. After my first session I noticed less pain and the more I saw him, the longer the relief would last. Another interesting thing is I always felt unbearably hot, but after the sessions that would go away. By the time I finished the treatment I felt like a new person. The amazing thing was the treatment seemed to calm down my nervous system enough that I could focus on where the pain was actually coming from and Dr. Garza would address those issues. In 2016 I was able to explain to an orthopedic surgeon where the issue really was and he found some nerve impingent in my shoulder and after surgery my pain decreased even more considerably. The doctor never would have found that issue if I hadn't gotten help from Dr. Garza. I was also diagnosed with a hyper mobility disorder and Crohn's disease, both of which Dr. Garza helped me with. The nutritional counseling he did with me helped immensely with my Crohn's symptoms (severe pain and digestive distress)and now I am in remission and almost completely symptom free! Today, I am way less pain. I can truly say I have a great life. I am off of all narcotics, I passed my nursing exam! I have been in a relationship with a wonderful man for over three years, I have great friends, and now I have a job! I truly never thought I would get my life back, Thank you Dr. Garza! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Garza for years. He's the best chiropractor that I know of. I like the "hands on" way of adjustment and not just using machines. My job is pretty demanding physically and I can get into some weird positions that make my back twist and bend. Whenever it gets "stuck" or "out of whack" he can put it right back. This review is specifically about Dr. Garza's covid policies. I've been to quite a few health care offices this year and I've never felt as unsafe as I did here. Dr. Garza did not wear his mask properly (covering his nose and mouth during the consultation) and gave me the "option" of wearing my mask during the adjustment. It was not apparent if he washed/sanitized his hands between patients. I really hope they decide to update their covid policies for the sake of the health of our community. read more

I did not believe much in the practice of chiropractic medicine before I came to Dr. Garza's office for help and healing of my digestion problems and IBS- D. He has the gift of healing hands and is guided by both his training and his 6th sense of what the body needs. I can honestly say I am a true believer in chiropractic care only because of Dr. Garza. He listens to my concerns and pays attention to the issue's that is the cause of my discomfort. It all started when one day I woke up one morning and just couldn't get out of bed. My lower back and left leg was really hurting bad. I couldn't even stand up straight and could barely walk. Anyway, my girlfriend told me about her chiropractor that she had been seeing for awhile and highly recommended. Well, out of desperation I called and made an appointment.
