I had considered tackling it myself and if I had, I would have fried the new board because Spa Depot did not configure the blower for 120V, they had it set at 240V. Not sure if I would have figured that out. Ian was very responsive, friendly and very fair priced. He had the new board replaced within an hour! I will be using him again once cooler temps arrive as I need some jets and an air control valve replaced (it is a former aboveground hot tub that we put in the ground 20 years ago). Mario and his crew are fantastic!…read more 2 years ago I was frustrated with maintaining my pool - despite all the money I put into it, it wasn't at the level I wanted. I called Azur and Mario found there were issues with my filter and I was happy to pay him to fix it. After that I found it was about the same cost as having them maintain my pool as what I had been spending on chemicals at the local store. They've always done a great job with cleaning. Azur also does pressure washing -- and twice now I've had them do my pool enclosure and just recently they washed my fence and front enclosure. They did a fantastic job and everything looked like new after they were done. It's always a pleasure to work with Azur and I love that I can make payments online as well. I'm very glad I found Azur!

Our sales person (Dan Meyer) took the time to thoroughly explain every detail to us so we knew exactly what to expect. My husband and I are finance professionals and really take our time evaluating all options before making a decision. Dan was extremely patient with us through the process. We appreciated that the company provided an itemized breakdown of the costs for us so we knew exactly where every dollar spent was going towards. Dan also did a wonderful job creating a unique design for our pool/spa combo. Every other company that came out to give us quotes just drew a basic rectangle shaped pool, but Dan really put time and thought into his design and it showed! We also appreciated that Larsen's provided an all-in quote and would return funds if things weren't needed (like well points), compared to other companies that provided us lower quotes to "win the business", but then said there could be additional expenses. As finance professionals, we like to know exactly how much the project could cost and really appreciated this approach. Once construction began we worked with Jason and things moved quickly! We did have some weather delays, but that was to be expected. My husband is a bit of a perfectionist, so he was constantly checking on the detail of work being completed. If he wanted something changed or corrected, we just let Jason know and a crew was out to make it perfect for us, no questions asked. The level of customer service and communication throughout the entire project was very much appreciated and allows us to enjoy our beautifully finished pool and spa even more. A less-expensive estimate cited only acid and pressing washing as preparation, which would have been a disaster in the future if a new finish were to be applied over the old finish. Conclusion = Refund pending but I feel so much better about them. 10/07/2025 Sharper Image = I tell them for three weeks in a row before this week that there's algae and it needed to be brushed and treated. Since it doesn't get brushed, algae comes back . They send the same guy who didn't do it properly two weeks before hand to treat it and guess what because it was never brushed now I have more algae. Not to mention when he tried to leave, and I asked him to come back and look at the green and yellow algae on my pool. He laughed at me. All they wanna do is send me a bill for things that should've been covered under my $40 a week, maintenance and chemical charge. And this is how they treat somebody who spent 20 grand ( I must not have spent enough for a little respect) in May and they also know that I'm recently widowed and guess what they don't give a damn! So now I get to pay the new Pool company to do W/Sharper Image couldn't seem to do. Negative stars! Hurt and disappointed.

We have a salt water pool, and in the beginning, for the first month we were smelling strong chlorine odors coming from the pool. We had guests complaining that their eyes were burning, and we would get out of the pool smelling like chemicals for days. I complained to them, to where they gaslit me saying that they've never heard of such a thing and that they weren't putting chlorine into our pool. But we had several people on different occasions say that the water was irritating their skin and eyes. Long story short, two months later, the situation improved. Now since they started, they would come on Wednesdays. I've asked them since the beginning to change our service day because my husbands only day off from work is Wednesday and we would like to enjoy the pool without being bothered for cleaning. The receptionist kept telling me they would review the service route and let us know. This has been going on since September, where we have been putting the request in for a service change pretty much monthly, with no result. Now with summer coming up, I tell the receptionist, I need to change our service date or we can just cancel. She tells me once again, like every time I call, we will review and let you know. I told her no, I'm tired of hearing that. So then she tells me I can pay $35 a month extra for a specific service day. I don't want a specific day, I just don't want them here on Wednesdays. She tells me a supervisor will call me to discuss. Eventually, days later I get an email from Jason... not a phone call but fine. I respond promptly to his email, and then no response. So finally I call again and say I just want to cancel my service. Receptionist tells me she will put in my request to a manager. I am not asking for approval, I am canceling. A few days after I get an email saying my service has been cancelled. Finally. Now today I get another invoice from them, so I call again and the receptionist tells me it's for a specific service. Now I haven't looked at the portal to see if this service was done, but it wasn't shown in the email that I received. Once again she tells me someone will reach out to me. I am just so tired of this company. The receptionist doesn't take care of anything, the higher ups never call back. One of the employees broke my gate latch a couple of weeks ago, which I found out shortly after because I heard the gate slamming open and shut. I didn't complain about it because I just wanted to be done with this company, I wasn't even planning on writing a review until. But after my phone call with the receptionist again today, I've just had enough. I seriously regret hiring this company. nothing but headaches.
