Arrived in a panic after calling on the phone... I was referred here by BNC because they didn't have the extra equipment available to check my 1992 SATURN. The mechanic on the phone said they would match the price, plus the extra charge for the special testing mandated for the 1999 and newer cars, so the cost was very reasonable. I was panicked because my regular smog place quit doing the Star Certifications and I'd been going there like a decade! It's always stressful to start with somebody new. :/ But the vibe here is totally chill, which made me relax, too. And there were lots of cool, shady spots to wait for my car, but I mostly hung around it like a mother hen, and they didn't complain at me about it. :) The guy waved me in and took my car inside for the test right away. I went in for a last minute smog check, obviously I called first to make sure they wernt to busy, he told me to come in and to look for the open garage on the side of the building since his shop is connected to another something related car something, anyways I waited while he finished with these other ladies, gave him my keys to a 1999 Toyota Corolla, he took it in and I would say about 10-20 minutes later he was done. read more

I will never know if they do a great job or not because when I drove up, I was "greeted' by 2 men glaring at me while I parked and got out the truck. I told them I was there to get the truck smogged and one of the men pointed to the back of the building and said you have to drive it around that road. I felt like the service was going to be as bad as these guys attitude so I got back in the truck and drove off never to return again. read more
