The place did not look palatable from the outside, but we struck out twice for restaurants already so we were going in regardless. Once inside you can tell this is a place for regulars. There were folks at the bar having conversations, watching sports and eating dinner. We really weren't sure what to think, but we sat down at a table and were delivered menus. We informed the bartender/server that we had never been in there before and she said "oh, you're gonna love the food!" to which we were like... ok! Perused the menu and decided on the onion rings, sweet sausage, half rack of ribs, and the steak tip sub. The onion rings are probably some of the best I've ever had. Were they from a freezer bag or freshly prepared? I have no idea, but they had the perfect crunch and the onion stayed in tact with each bite. The ranch served with them was also really good ranch! The ribs fell off the bone and the steak tips were tender and delicious. We were so pleasantly surprised about this place. Never judge a restaurant from its appearance. You never know what kind of gem lies beyond the doors.
