I really enjoy coming to the "mall" in Mililani even though it's a drive from where I live at the…read moretop of Halawa Heights. Everything is so accessible and easy to get to. I usually park in a specific section with the Cookie Corner, Jersey Mikes, and California Pizza Kitchen right out front. A family gathering at Fun Factory will usually mean a stop also for a glass of wine before and after a pickup if bag of cookies . Doesn't get any easier. Huge parking accessibility for fast in and out and a huge Times Supermarket. I will drive to Mililani rather than stopping at Pearl Ridge for those reasons but it's a definite stop on my way around the island.

I had no clue where their center stage was. I checked online and the map/directory didn't have the information either. For future reference, this specific event was held near the Mililani Barber Shop. The person in the "Cotton the Bunny" suit must've been suffering in there because the bunny hardly moved from the chair, barely turned its head and couldn't be bothered to interact with people, let alone wave hello or goodbye. We lined up for their Easter egg hunt which was divided via age groups. We followed the leader to another area of the shopping center and were instructed to visit each shop that had a specific symbol displayed in the storefront. Many businesses were generally too busy with regular, paying customers to be bothered by the event goers (which is understandable). However, we visited a salon that went all out and placed eggs all over their establishment. (If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was LUXE Salon). They set time limits and had a set number of kids enter for each "session." So awesome! There was a very long line for the pony ride and we were cut off when we were almost to the front of the line. How disappointing, but no bother! The petting zoo had bunnies, chickens, goats and even a pig! Also, there was an area where kids could go into the fenced section to pet the chickens. All in all a great time! Highly recommend this event!

This Shopping Center is probably most known for Safeway. We visited because of Sakura Restaurant. I had a gift certificate from an Instagram Contest in which First Hawaiian Bank collaborated with small businesses such as Sakura Restaurant. Sakura is a stand-alone business. Everything else is like a strip mall. Luckily, Irene M. knew her way around. We walked over towards Subway, passed Super Cuts and Po Sing Chinese Restaurant, and saw a nail shop around the corner, past Meet Tea. It looks like this Shopping Center has some vacant space. Subway, Super Cuts and a few other services are available here though what I'd come back for is Po Sing Chinese Restaurant as they seem to have some yummy roast pork and plate lunches here that I never knew existed. Lots to explore in Mililani and this shopping center has some spots that I hope will be filled with more biz to keep me coming back. Thank you!

The monorail has been out of service for so long it makes getting around difficult. Basically the whole idea went down hill. Elevator and escalators are always out of service making it difficult for seniors and disabled people to gain access. A law suit should be addressed for NOT being ADA compliant. In certain area maintenance of debris and leaves and yard waste does not get picked up often enough. Parking lot strips are so faded the markings are hard to see. Lights are not working and visible in some areas. Management needs to be more active and walking the grounds instead of being in the office all day long. Security needs to be out and about roaming and visible more often. Not just watching a camera.

This little plaza is packed with so many places to eat and get typical daily errands finished. However, parking and maneuvering in the plaza can be challenging at times, especially around Starbucks and their drive thru area. Luckily there are two points of entrance to the plaza. If your ever in the Waipio area, it's a great place to stop by to get something to eat.

Jade Chinese restaurant has the BEST hands down Char Siu and hot sour soup! We eat there fairly often and it's nice when the owners recognize us. Thai village is the best Thai restaurant ever & only Thai restaurant that makes Pad Woon Sen the way I like it. Big City Diner has lots of great choices, Outback is our family's go to for steak and Aussie fries , Taco Bell, Loco Moco, Karen's and especially Dave's ice cream. Now they have Teapresso there and my co workers always go for a boba run during lunch. I don't think I've had any bad service at any of the stores or restaurants there. I also work super close by so this place is always a great go to for my co workers and I when we need to grab lunch or need a quick item or two and the prices are pretty reasonable!
