While I do like going to the mall management and its security are running the operations poorly. You can't find security anywhere at night. No phone numbers posted in prime areas. The monorail has been out of service for so long it makes getting around difficult. Basically the whole idea went down hill. Elevator and escalators are always out of service making it difficult for seniors and disabled people to gain access. A law suit should be addressed for NOT being ADA compliant. In certain area maintenance of debris and leaves and yard waste does not get picked up often enough. Parking lot strips are so faded the markings are hard to see. Lights are not working and visible in some areas. Management needs to be more active and walking the grounds instead of being in the office all day long. Security needs to be out and about roaming and visible more often. Not just watching a camera. read more

The monorail has been broken for months. Please fix it.... I minused a star. I still enjoy the wide variety of stores and can always find something to buy. Love shopping here. Many free stalls and I can always find a space even when its usually crowded. read more

As of December 2025 please note that the main elevator in Pearlridge Uptown is broken with no ETA on it being fixed. The next available elevator is in Macy's, if its even in commission, otherwise there is NO way for you to travel between levels if you have a stroller with kids or you yourself utilize a wheelchair. If you're looking for a family friendly outing, where you can eat, window shop, and play with your littles, Pearlridge is the place! There's a good variety of stores, from local to chain. There are also many entertainment activities like the Car Cafe, Pups of War, Tilt, and Escape room. They do have a decent size food court with good selections and food throughout the mall. It can definitely get crowded, especially when they hold craft fairs and events. The parking can be crowded as well, depending on where you park. My favorite part about this mall is that it has a clean family bathroom so that you can take your littles. They also have a nursing room as well. I've never ran into issues with using the rooms. You can make a short day just hanging out here. read more

I'm a handicapped senior that uses a rollator to walk around. Pearlridge is my favorite place to walk... I usually walk there almost everyday. Pearlridge is clean, including the restrooms. I say "Hello" to most vendors and customers as we pass each other. There's a few security personnel walking around as well during the holiday season. Pearlridge Center is the second largest mall after Ala Moana Shopping Center. It's out of the way located in Aiea if you do not have a car. This felt more like a local shopping center with commercial stores and tons of anime shops. There's an uptown and downtown section, both have food courts. And shops are indoors. Overall: Less touristy. Not a lot of stores that appealed to us since they were more commercial. We couldn't find a local coffee shop in the uptown side so we opted for Starbucks. The connecting monorail was closed and we couldn't figure out how to get to the downtown side. We figured it out after we had already left: it's just a 6-minute walk across the parking lot. For a $35+ Uber ride to come out here one way from Waikiki Beach, I would stick with the Ala Moana Shopping Center. read more

Pearlridge Center is a place for young kids to hang out together. It's safe and accessible, you can get there via monorail, bus, bike and etc. The mall has a great selection of stores and food options. Unlike touristy malls, Pearlridge is far less crowded than other malls. Best of all is the price, everything is priced reasonably and not marked up to a touristy price. Unlike Ale Moana mall, all the employees I have encountered have been extremely helpful and willing to help. Malls such as Ale Moana treat you either as a thief or poor. At Pearlridge you are treated like a valued costumer. Overall a great mall for high schoolers to hang out and shop with friends. read more

I live here in Hawaii, and I absolutely love this place, overtime this place has been renovated and has been pretty good. However, there are a few little tweaks that need to be done. The main one is fix the monorail so people can use it! I miss riding it and I've never roden it in forever. Next is fix that Ross elevator that goes up, I always see people try to use it but then they can't because it dont work. Also, the stench near the outside of longs kinda stinks. Since when do you have to wait until 10 to enter? Snooty security guard says SHE determines who can and cannot enter. At 9:45, we see others entering while we patiently wait outside. Finally, after a dozen people walk in, we just go in as well. If you're going to enforce a rule, enforce it for ALL, or don't enforce at all!! This is the entrance near CPK. (Edit: Since posting this, I received a reply from someone who apparently never goes to PR so just to clarify. The mall itself does open at 10 for most retailers, but folks are let in earlier to go to places like Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts or some food vendors in the food court that serve breakfast. Since they do not have separate entrances you go in through the main doors. In fact, after speaking to other friends who frequent PR, they all said this is still true, not a new policy. At Wai Makai (Phase II), the entrance area near Longs was open. So was the other entrance by Koromo near the parking lot. It was just the entrance by CPK with the security guard who was playing Queen for the day.) read more

Honestly I love coming to Pearlridge center on Saturdays! Recently, there has been pop up shops in both uptown and downtown! These small shops are local businesses! They range from jewelry, comic books, playing cards, cute Japanese pens, stuff animals, clothing, and food products. It's definitely something to check out on the weekends! Also, make sure to stop by in uptown in the parking lot. There is a farmers market that sells fresh vegetables and food choices! Let's support these local businesses! Shopping in Aiea, Hawaii... Pearlridge Mall is confusing to me because there used to be Uptown and Downtown, but now, the different sections have been renamed to Hawaiian words. Makai and Mauka are more directional, but I'm still lost. Haha! I needed to pickup my Instagram prize and I chose Pearlridge Consolidated Theater over Mililani Theater. I figured that I could go to Longs on the Ground Level, then go up the escalator to the theater. I like the covered parking on this side of the mall because in case of rain (a storm was coming) and to protect the car from the sun (and keep the car cool), it's great shelter! Between Longs and the theater, I saw Bing Brothers! Yay! It's a hot, new business that I saw on Instagram! I was so happy to have found it by accident because other reviews stated that it was challenging to find this kiosk! They make Chinese crepes - like street food! I got a bacon one - delicious!!! I also saw Tony Moly, a Korean skincare products store. They had signs that read 70 percent off... I had to look! LOL! I got some Christmas shopping done... Yay!!! So, missions accomplished! I shopped at Longs and used my coupons on a sale day; picked up my Instagram winnings at the theater; found some Christmas gifts; and had a scrumptious lunch at Bing Brothers! This is by far the most confusing mall in the world. I try to avoid but sometimes I have to. Parking is horrible and it's impossible to find a directory even on my phone. The buildings are not connected. Good variety of stores for a local shopping center but only if you can find those stores. read more

Nice shopping center that has a lot of stores - something for everyone. Malls here are still thriving. I'm in the SF bayarea and our malls are dying. It was a breath of fresh air to see a mall still doing well and people still shopping. They also have a night market with local food and entertainment. Also a farmers market during the morning and early afternoon. Go take a look around, you may just find something you can't leave without. read more

This mall is broken into two locations, connected by an above ground tram or you can walk through the parking lot. Plenty of stores in both locations with the "northern" portion having more shops and food sprinkled throughout the mall and the "southern" portion having a food court upstairs. During Christmas the "northern" one has a train on the ground floor and the "southern" portion having photos with Santa. If you are in a hurry or want something specific I would do your research and find out where the store/food you want is located so you do not have to walk around both locations. read more

This Farmers Market it's always trying add on additional vendor's, My Favorite is Hoku Stand that sell sushi and barbecue meat and they too are adding new items of food!, the cost is any where sushi roll or rice triangle for 3 for $10.00 and barbecue (chicken stick, pork stick, $5.00 a piece). It's been over a year and how it has changed here...for the good in my opinion. First of all I absolutely love the have poles set up on the back wall to indicated the specific store has reached max capacity and where you wait your turn to browse. Simple and easy to understand without staff constantly directing you like cattle to stand here or move there. It's an excellent comfort style after the renovation done not too long ago. The new name situated after the renewal I'm sorry to say I myself like it to call it downtown formerly by Sears! I do share to my friends about the newest additions - Smoke Guava, Holly Cow, and a cute and cozy Mango and Mango Dessert cafe it's my quick stop to get my favorite fresh fruit drink in a very unique cute cup to enjoy. The upstairs food court by the entrance of the theater is a place to go. I do like the idea of the comfy semi sofa seats but I don't think it matches the layouts of food court. The seats are for four or more but when there's only one person occupying it other families or even kupuna's won't have the chance to seat in style. Yes the ambience is there but the concept of the design of the food court it'll make a lot difference to change the sofa seats to regular dining tables to accommodate more people. I think changing it might not be great idea but it may brighten the interior of the food court! I've recently started going there after taking our relative to the doctors appointments at the Pali Momi hospital. Parking is a bit of an hassle there especially for handicap placard holders which is situated by the entrance of the old Sears. If my memory is correct I could be wrong the center decreased the handicap stalls added HPD reserved stalls of four when they could have installed it elsewhere? Yes understand when there's an emergency but those stalls every times I go there there's no HPD cars there? I'd like to see more consideration for the handicap placard holders for easier access. I haven't seen nor parked upper level if there's handicap stalls availability. Maybe someday if they read my comments they should take it for consideration. read more

I like the shops here but had a bad experience today trying to enjoy the mall with my husband and baby. We came from town and enjoyed a a class at Gymboree and decided to go to Pieology for lunch. While there our baby needed a diaper change and we went to look for a changing table. The table in the women's room was broken. We decided to try the family restroom and pressed the button to ask for entry. My husband spoke to security and was asked "do you have anyone with you?" To which he replied "yes, my 6 month old baby". Security told him that the bathroom is only for disability and refused to open the door or answer again. My husband then took our daughter into the men's room to try the changing table there and found that table also broken! The entire experience was uncomfortable, particularly the attitude of security regarding the FAMILY restroom. I've never had a problem accessing one at another mall or store. read more

I'm very upset with my experience here. I'm not mad at the mall but I'm upset at the business that is being run here. It's a skincare shop that always has a person asking if you want a sample. I was approached by a man and he asked if I wanted a sample. I received the sample, he then becomes extremely rude and decided to say that I have horrible skin and what products do I use. He asks me my age and says I need help with my skin. I was extremely pissed because how dare he comment that I have horrible skin and then I was about to walk away and then he says you're just going to take the sample. I am so upset the way this man disrespected me. He was ridiculing me. I do have sensitive skin but for him to clearly belittle me and insult me with my skin is unacceptable. I walked away and left because I was very upset. I would never treat anyone let alone a customer with the utmost disrespect. I would like to report this store. The products they sell is TRUFFOIRE. Do not interact with any of the employees. The man that disrespected me was tall, slim, and Caucasian. I'm very upset and I hope this place closes down for the disrespect and rudeness they caused me. Standing outside of TJ Maxx...and learned if new hours at the mall. The main entrances do not open until 10 am so you early morning walkers, no can. Ross still opens at 9:00 and TJ at 9:30, but the entrance is only parking lot sides. The "roll down", "roll up" gates do not open until 9:45...in theory. It's 9:53 and TJ still hasn't rolled up the gate (mall side). Guess it's to prevent shoplifting? No idea, but just wanted to share the change. Stores are still meh, but to avoid Ala Mo, this'll have to suffice. They'll lose to online sales, unfortunately. read more

Every time I go to Pearlridge downtown something is always out of order. Then it takes months for it to get fixed! Today, both the elevator and the up escalator from the 2nd floor to the Nehu Market is out too! How do the wheelchair or handicapped people get upstairs? Uptown Pearlridge elevator at one time was out of order for months! Your monorail wasn't working on Sunday! Sad..... pearlridge is going downhill and don't care about handicapped people. read more

I'm loving the new upgrades, new store selections, extensions and more eateries! My oh my has Pearlridge transformed over time. Parking situation still sucks due to people with no common sense..I don't really appreciate the valet service who reserves multiple rows during the Holidays but hey, make your money. Just as long as we are never charged for self parking I'm okay with shopping here. I'll just have to get used to the new names given, Wai Mauka for Uptown (Macy's side) and Wai Makai for Downtown (Sear's side).
