I liked the daily twofer happy hour 2-7 pm for Crown, Morgan, Tito's and Jack drinks. They also offered weekday lunch specials ($7.99 for lasagna, sloppy Joes, hot beef, etc.). I noticed a nice, three-sided bar with TVs above, 12 beers on tap, a pool table, a golden tee game, a digital jukebox, a spacious seating area lined with more TVs on both sides of the bar, classic rock background music and a spacious patio area with TVs and two rollup garage doors. I found the service at the bar to be stellar - friendly, cheerful, helpful and efficient. I also saw a couple of entrees coming out of the kitchen and they looked delicious. Very nice! read more

This is a sports bar with a lively crowd on most nights. They call themselves a Casino and to be clear, they have some video poker terminals, not a Casino that many expect. That aside, they have a decent bar food menu and although I've never eaten there, the food looks decent and patrons seem happy. Now the important part. This is a cool bar that is welcoming to business travellers like myself even though most of the people there seemed like locals. It's big enough that of you don't get a seat at the bar, there are plenty of high top tables and booths that you can enjoy a beer at. There seems to be a pool following with some kind of regular pool league but place was super busy for Wednesday. Several normal offering beers on tap along wIth some smaller brewery beers. Lots of TVs with most sporting events, even the Bruins game. The NFL team of choice appears to be the KC Chiefs. Clean bathrooms, friendly bartenders and some tasty complimentary popcorn add to the appeal. Tip #1 - Hidden under the lip of the bar are duplex electrical outlets for charging your phone. Tip #2 - sprinkle the complimentary popcorn with the seasoned salt provided. Only negative is the smoking lounge patio lets the smell of cigarette into the bar on occasion but hey, it's a bar. read more

Stopped for take-out on a Monday at 6:00 P.M. The bar was crowded, but there was available seating. The waitress gave me a friendly greeting and took my order of two Outlaw Burgers with fries. The restaurant is exceptionally clean. The music is appropriate for the crowd and at a conversational level. It really has a great sports bar vibe. The burgers were really good. I ordered a double for mine, and it had some much Angus Beef on it that I had to sit it down. I would highly recommend this restaurant! It has great ambiance, service, and food. read more

This place was billed as a Chiefs Bar. I went with 10 friends for opening day game via Cardinals and was shocked to find out they had the game on one outdoor TV. A few small TVs inside with no sound for the game. Super disappointing experience for a place to be billed as a Chiefs bar. However the beer was cold. :) read more

This is the best place I could ever imagine giving a 2 to. The servers are all sweethearts, there's rowdy karaoke twice weekly, and it was here that I fell victim to, and overcame, my addiction to Big Buck Hunter. But it's a DIVE. Pink lungs will choke on the smoke. Beer on tap is super-cheap, but you get what you pay for. Options are limited to anything you might see in a superbowl commercial. Don't get me wrong, the place is loads of fun if you go with a crew and can tolerate the above. But the above is much to tolerate. read more

If you want to be ignored, then this is the place to go! Was in town and stopped in to play KENO and never was offered a drink. There were 2 waitresses working, but still no service. I waited for 50 minutes and was never greeted by either waitress even though they both looked directly at me. Pathetic! Terrible service and I'll never go back to this bar - ever! Was staying next door at Red Roof Inn and wondered in for a bite and cocktail. Battered fish dinner was the special that night. I had that, baked potato and side salad. Fish was a little too heavy on the batter bit still good. Food was good, prices in that $9-12 range. Bartender made good drinkes and staff was friendly. read more

Great place staff was nice and prompt considering the game was on. The bartender mixed great drinks, but the most amazing thing of all was the cook. I was told by the waitress that he just started a week or so ago but I had to personally give him a tip and recommend his service on here. He is a five star chef as far as we were concerned. All of our meals were cooked and prepared perfect and for bar food it was superb.!!! And they even give you ranch dressing with your order of tater tots ... Who does that?? No one ... !! Monster burger and tots! Ok, the burger isn't monster in size, but it's a good burger with tots for pretty cheap. They recently remodeled the whole place and it's nice. There's lots of seating with friendly staff and good service. It's not a snobby place, it's a sports bar and casino. Good view of a TV from most tables. BEWARE after receiving the bill I asked the waitress about the price of the drinks and she told me that they add $2.75 to the first drink to help cover the second, therefore 2fers actually means 2 for the price of 1.55! read more

A friend & I stopped on a weekday afternoon last week after finishing a home project. I was blown away by what I witnessed and will have a difficult time going back. It was time for a new bartender to take over... a young gentleman came in from the smoking the area and ordered drinks. The bartender carded he & his friend and said he would need to see everyone else's ID's. The young gentlemen stated they had been there for awhile and that if the bartender wanted to see his mom's ID he could deliver the drinks to the patio and card her. I personally didn't feel that was out of line for a paying customer. Not to mention that all he would have had to do was ask the bartender that was ending her shift. Anyway, the bartender told the young man that he had to leave. They young man went outside to tell the others and the bartender was hot on his heals, not even giving the guy a chance to tell his mom what had happened or an opportunity to leave. We could hear that things got heated outside and both men lost their tempers but the bartender was WAY out of line. We have always had a good experience here in the past but that behavior from the bartender to a paying customer was about as poor customer service as one can get. read more

I will never give the Gateway Lounge another penny of my hard earned money after the crap they pulled. The server ran my card on Sunday for $26.50 instead of the $20 I was very specific on. I noticed last night that she ran it for $26.50 as it cleared the bank. I went in to have it fixed today and got some of the worst customer service. The person working proceeded to tell me that this was a bank error not their's. She said that the bank doesn't know what I tipped so they just add a number on but it will actually clear for the correct amount. I proceeded to show her where it had cleared on my bank mobile app and she proceeded to tell me she had to have a paper copy. I got a little attitude at this point and got very mouthy as I left to waste my time and my gas for their mistake. I got back with the printout and still got attitude when I talked to her about it. I was very vocal at this point and I hope all the customers that were in there check to see what their bill actually posts as when it comes out of their account. I also made it very clear that I will be posting this all over the internet and I will be calling their boss as well for their lack of customer service skills. I got my money back but only after wasting my time and gas as well as having to get some major attitude. Ridiculous! read more
