I came in recently for x-rays as a walk-in first thing in the morning. The front desk receptionist was friendly. I handed over my documents (imaging order, pic ID, medical insurance card). When asked about cost, she told me she would let me know. I was then called back shortly which at the time I was grateful since I was trying to get to work asap. The x-ray tech that brought me back was also friendly and professional. She was easy to talk to and guided me through the exam in a way that was comfortable with my current condition. The whole process was seamless and quick. Maybe a little too quick. I checked out and asked the same receptionist what I owed thinking she verified my benefits by then. She said she didn't see that I owed anything. That's never the case, but I went on my way to get to work. I get a text a little over a week later stating my statement was ready. I just wished they were more efficient with checking benefits before performing procedures. I knew I was likely to pay, but others may feel blindsided if they weren't familiar with their insurance coverage. Despite that, the fees were standard and the whole experience was satisfactory. read more

Friendly and professional experience except the office staff chose not to send a CD to the VA in Dallas TX as requested by the VA. Customer in wheelchair had to drive 60 miles , go up to third floor to deliver same CD. POOR customer service. read more

MRI for prostate. I was not looking forward to the scan or the results. But the nurse setting up the IV did a near painless kid and the tech running the scan was upbeat, personable and kept me comfortable. Except for the noise I could have slept through the entire test. And the report I received was presented in clear and concise manner. I hope I never need another MRI but if I do I will go to Gateway. read more

On one hand... the techs I worked with were so sweet. I was very nervous and they could not have been more helpful and compassionate with me. Big kudos to them. On the other hand... I was told to arrive at 10:05 for a 10:35 appointment. I already had my paperwork done so I am not sure why they told me to do that. I ended up waiting until 11:05 - a full hour, and a half hour after my appointment time - to even get called in. Then of course I still had to change and go through prep and get the scan. My husband took off work to bring me here. I took off work to be here. I was scheduled for a nasal CT Scan quickly! I needed to get it in before the end of the year (I met my deductible!) and they were able to accommodate. Either they are running late or their machine is broken. It's always something. They always have an excuse.

First of all they did not do their due diligence in time to get my insurance verified so I didn't want to wait and said I would keep appointment and do self pay. Arrived for the appointment and waited 30 minutes before I finally went and asked how much longer to be told their machine was down. Why wasn't I notified without me having to ask? So after arranging my morning for that appointment had to drive to a different location and spend more time out of my day. No discount for self pay and their lack of customer service. read more

Made an appt for 915am was told to drink 32oz water and no food 2 hours prior, after waiting 20 plus minutes they tried giving me the wrong test after I questioned the machine as I know the difference between a CT scan and MRI which resulted in having to reschedule for 7:15pm that evening for an MRA which I waited until 8pm and left after being there alone for 20 min while another lady showed up for an MRI and was taken back before me. Waste of a day and time. Can't be even be seen next week bc they are full. read more

I found this place to be very clean and impressive.. everyone seemed nice.. I give this place a 1 star for billing... the lady at the desk told me my insurance doesn't cover a CT scan..so I paid outta pocket 745.00.... no issues there I had to get it done... but 2 mo this later im looking at my insurance claims and boom... insurance paid the full amount.... hopefully getting my refund wontbesn issue.. ill update for that experience Update: talked to them about the refund. The office seating was socially distanced, they did require masks for the waiting room which was actually a relief. Once going back I had the option to wear my mask or not during the MRI. They also provided my choice of music during the procedure & kept me informed throughout. The staff was amazing! Would definitely recommend. read more

Made an appt. and arrived a little earl. Was told I could check in as a walk in. It wax 4:21 and was also told that it wouldn't be much longer than my original 4:30 appt. to be seen. Fast forward to a lit after 5:30. Returned to check in window, diff. person there. Asked how much longer it would be. She left, went in back and came back stating the technician was gone for the day. Yes, couldn't put my appt in the system and then just plain forgot I was there. This isn't the first time they have messed up my appointment, but definitely thee we last. Know your insurance coverage! They told my husband his MRI wasn't covered by his insurance and made him pay the full price of $745, instead of his $35 copay. Then they also sent a claim to AETNA and it was approved and processed AETNA sent them a check for $710...leaving a difference of DRUMROLLLLL his $35 copay. What really makes me angry is that they never called to tell him they owed him money we had to find out on our own and contact them! All a scam! Know what you owe before going here! read more

Very nice facility. The employees are friendly and very accommodating (light sensitivity due migraine). Came in for an MRI. Staff was professional and made my experience stress free. They also give you a disk with your images scanned on it for you to keep for your self Incase you see other doctors or physicians for second options or what not. Do not go here for Spine MRIs. The radiologists who read the images are typically still in training and just gloss over the images like they do not care about what they show. I went to Touchstone for a 2nd MRI about 11 months later and radiologist reading images was more detailed and I felt how he read my images correlated with my symptoms. read more

I needed an MRI ... my doctor sent me to a designated facility. I gave insurance but hadn't met my deductible! Their pricing was outrageous, so I shopped around! My chiropractor recommended Gateway Diagnostic, after a lengthy search ... they were so reasonable over the phone and I was desperate, thinking in my head you get what you pay for, but hey, it's just an MRI ... low and behold to my delight, the facility was gorgeous, clean with all state of the art equipment! The staff was above and beyond the call of duty!!! So gracious and professional! I had my report within a couple hours which is unheard of! Dumb employee!!There is this YOUNG female technician LORD bless her please give her a brain. Please tell her to stop watching Fox News. She actually said we need to live our live and not be afraid of COVID I am in the office for a medical for a test LADY I want to Live that's why I am in the office. People like her is the reason why this virus will continue. She went on to tell be Sweden has no cases and they did not do any social distancing.. During April, Sweden suffered more than 100 deaths a day. In all, there have been more than 5,900 Swedish fatalities. Sweden ranks 11th in the world, one place behind the U.S., in terms of deaths per 100,000. please educate your self before you have a conversation.. people like you will continue to spread stupidity.. she also said they went back and found that a lot of people that died from COVID had other health issues that killed them...Yes that is true young lady but COVID tipped the bucket.. please scan your head to see if there is a brain in there? Everyone was nice. They were fairly quick once I got there. Unfortunately they don't have CD's (which I am used to getting) to bring to the next doctors appointment. Instead you have to wait for the radiologist to read and then send results to your doctor. It took longer than it should have. So you wait and wonder if your doctor got the results so you can schedule an appointment. read more

I went in for a CT scan. The facility was nice and the check in was easy. The scan was fast and the nurse was kind and informative. I had never had a CT scan before so I was unsure of what to expect. I would have given 5 stars, but the only thing stopping me what's the woman who checked me in seemed like she was bothered by doing her job. She was unfriendly when I first arrived and got checked in. After leaving I developed hives and itchiness as a reaction the the iodine. When I returned the woman at the check in asked what I was there for and I explained my situation. She let out a sigh and with a face that said I don't care asked who I spoke with. I didn't get the persons name, but the woman who I spoke with on the phone hopped up and was kind and addressed my issue. The nurse and the doctor were both very helpful in letting me know what to do they equipped me with some Benadryl and sent me on my way. Would have given 5 stars if I had a better experience at check in. Overall a good experience. read more
