After signing up and…read morereceiving no rebate check I inquired after missing two years only to learn that I had to request the rebate before a specific time which was never stated upon sign up. Every year thereafter I was sure to call in to inquire when the rebate was due and when to send in my request, only to get attitude and unprofessonalism as if they were upset that I was requesting my promised rebate. I recently contacted the company to confirm receipt of my rebate request and to know when it would be mailed out. Not only did I get attitude yet again I was told one thing which I made note of and even verbally repeated to confirm I call back and they denied making the statement (as if english is a second language to me). To add insult to unprofessionalism the representative who only identified herself as B went on to make it clear that they could care less about a customer dissatisfied with their demeanor and lacked professionalism and refused to put a supervisor on the phone and even threatened to end the call. I spoke with representatives Patricia and B. B went on to blunty state the company's lack of concern to losing a customer and explained how I could feel free to disenroll. Your business attitude determines the success of your business and I guess success is not a part of Hiko energy's mission. When living up to a term or condition that was mutually agreed upon becomes an issue for me it is stress that I DO NOT need. I have no problem paying my bill in full every month as I do. It is simply the principle you promise something don't be upset when held to it. If your looking for zero customer service and argumentive unprofessional representatives then knock yourself out ! The only part of the one star deserved is the fact that they actually send the rebate check, you just have to go through a song and dance to get it.

I met with Grossman to swap out a toilet & the water controls in a shower (non-emergency service call). Matt came to my house to provide an estimate. We scheduled a time for him to return a few days later (11/2020). They came and they did a good job. There were no economic surprises. They cleaned up their mess and everything works fine. I've attached a picture of his neat workmanship of the shower cartridge (hidden behind the wall). IMO, he did a good job & I will be using Grossman again.

Because it was late in the night and the nature of the work, they had promised us they would come first thing in the morning. Fast forward to the following morning day: they came exactly at the time they'd promised and got the job done at the time they'd estimated. They also walked me through what work needed to be done (i.e. upgrading the existing exhaust to the chimney as ours is not up to code, replacing x valve, etc...), which was nice and assuring. I had an extremely pleasurable experience using this vendor and will definitely contact them again for future work!
