We had to resurface our pool deck along with expanding the footprint, installed pavers to the courtyard and added turf to the front yard. We purchased our own plants but they dug all holes, planted and did all new drip systems. Kevin was incredibly helpful in that I had done AI designs of what I wanted and he created the plan to make it happen. Cheers to the amazing hard workers who endured terrible hot heat but continued to work with a smile. We offered water and food as I believe in taking care of those who help you. Plus they appreciated it. Lester was the supervisor of the team and got the job done. My only suggestion is for corp/management- Create a position Concierge liaison- a Individual who communicates to the home owners on all job sites in the morning by text of when to expect the crew and what part of the project is going to be worked on. Within minutes of contacting Rock N Block, I had an appointment for a consultation. This impressed…read moreme because I contacted 5 different companies and only Rock N Block and one other one reached out to me in a timely manner. My backyard had never been done. It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. We finally decided to get it done so our new dog could have a nice place to play, especially during the summers, where we can control the heat levels. JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. Now, it's gorgeous and I can't wait to accessorize!

The workers were careless in the way they cut the turf boarders and installed the Bend-a-board edging. The turf edges rolled up in a matter of a few days and the boards lifter out of the ground. We had them do the edges over again twice and same crappy results. Just the worst workmanship.
