Contacted several vendors by email, as converting grass to turf for Smart Water rebate. ZBest was first to respond and was out to provide estimates within 2 days. They provided written estimate for different types of turf material and did not try to push higher priced material, but instead suggested lower priced material. Upon giving them the ok, their workers were out the following day to complete front and back yard. The workers were great! The project was completed within 3 days and quality of work and materials excellent! Highly recommend using ZBest Turf! Even though they had received payment in full, I asked for a final inspection to be done at which time they went to the property next morning and found irrigation box hardware had not been changed per requirements for rebate program and they immediately took care of it and sent me text message to report what was missing and installed new valves. My father called Rob at Z Best Turf 5 years ago to put a putting green in his backyard. Rob was professional and the price to have the job done was reasonable. The workmanship and materials used has stood the test of time, and after five years, the putting green still looks as good as new. (See picture #1 below) We did have one issue, where the neighbors son accidentally left the water on in their back yard which evidently leaked into the ground through our adjoining wall, causing the ground under the turf to shift. What do you do when you first move into a new home? Landscaping of course! Once again the guys at Zbest turf absolutely killed it with their turf and paver install. We added the wall to wall turf for backyard, pavers on both sides of the patio as well as a full paver walkway along the gate side and around to connect to the driveway and extended our driveway 2 feet. As a bonus they also were able to take the rock the were removing and install it along the ac side and in our dog run to complete everything. All in 2 days! Sadly we did not take any before pictures but if you picture dug out dirt you'll get the idea. As you would expect with the Las Vegas Valley I lives in an HOA controlled area that wanted me to do something. Fed up with my unbountiful harvest of tall fescue, I figured I no longer wished to have a lawn, but rock was still not for me. I had reached out to many places, only a few got back but Z Best Turf responded quickly. They were incredibly helpful too with all my questions including the rebate from the Southern Nevada Water Authority for replacing lawns with other landscaping. A tip to all wondering, even if your lawn doesn't look too hot keep watering it as you will get less to nothing if your lawn is dead. So only a few estimates were thrown around, but Z Best Turf had a more affordable price for their labor and materials, and along with the quote I got from the SNVA everything seemed to fall into place. The workers and owner are very genuine and helpful for all your needs. I was told that the work would probably take two days to complete, but they got it all done in one! This does not mean the job was rushed, but rather completed with such a high level of competency in a single day of work that I was left stunned. The lawn looks, and feels great. I got the "Plush" turf as it was called which was the most expensive they offered but I love it. This was installed before the recent typhoon that hit two days ago, but when I went out to check the lawn the next day it looks just as good as when they installed it so I know that 60mph winds and heavy rainfall weren't an issue. tl;dr Keep watering your lawn until SNWA can come out and survey your work area, keep contact with Z Best Turf as they will respond if you feel they aren't getting back to you, they have several turf options for price and lifestyle needs (e.g. high traffic turf for pets/kids), and they are a locally owned business who cares about the work they do and the reputation they have.
