This is our second project with Showready, and it was excellent again. Some moron racing down our street, skidded and crashed into our block wall, damaging the outer wall, and drove off. The main wall was damaged, as well as the decorative wall on the other side, which was previously installed by Showready. (Pictures in my previous review) The team showed up and within a day and a half of work, had the wall taken down, repaired and painted and everything back like before. I am very happy with the work, and the speed in completing the project. I am planning to hire them again for my front yard in the near future. They did a FANTASTIC job! Let's start from the beginning...Ed showed up on time for the quote. He measured everything and then showed the hubby and I all the types of grass he offers. He was not pushy at all or up selling the more expensive grass. He let us take our time to make our choice. So after 3 quotes Ed offered the best price and we were ready to set a date. I can't say enough about Ed and his crew at Showready Landscape. What they were able to do in such a short amount of time is incredible. When my husband and I moved into our new home, our backyard was nothing but sand, rocks, and a bunch of old rusty nails. With a baby on the way and a small dog who loves to run around in the backyard, we wanted to make sure it was a safe and nicely landscaped space. Before choosing Showready Landscape, I called three companies for a quote and design. Ed from Showready Landscape was the last person on our schedule to come out for a free estimate and the first to provide a design and quote that suited our style and budget. For those that call me a liar (assuming that is what you were trying to spell), I'm sorry you feel that people cannot share honest interactions with a business. I don't take low ratings lightly and I think my review fully explains why I gave that rating. Like I said in the review, Showready did a great job in their initial work. For whatever reason, they missed the ball on the follow up and my plants were watered as instructed (though the point of my review was the lack of followup, regardless if he wanted to honor the guarantee or not). I hear they do good work but from my experience they are extremely unprofessional. Came out to provide a quote. Measured the area wrong thereby inflating the cost of installation per foot. I had to chase them for the quote, then tried chasing them again to start the project but they never bothered to respond so I sat around for weeks delaying the project for nothing. I sensed they wanted to sell me their own turf but I explained I wanted to get it from Costco which is high quality and a low price. And made in America which he said would be an issue if it was not. If they didn't want to proceed want the work then how much effort does it take to send a text or email to say so ? Their loss as I often install artificial turf. His team got started in a few days when another project wrapped up. Ours was complete in 3.5 days, only needing the half day to install stone that was on back order. I found him on Yelp and read his reviews and to be fair I just want to comment on some of the reviews with less than 5 stars: 1. Phone Call: When I called Ed he was very polite. He was unable to answer my call, but did send me a text message saying he was in a class. He called me right when the class was done and was very accommodating. After his estimate, I was able to call him at any time for any follow up questions...even 10pm. 2. Price: Ed beat every quote I got...and not just by a little, by a lot. When I asked if he could do better as I was on a tight budget...he worked with me. He got down to a price that was more than fair and even threw in a couple of plants for free. The price did not change at the end and even added some other free stuff. Ed is very hands on. He came in and started doing work as well. They do a really good job at an amazing price.
