And every so often, I get a free glass for buying my regular beer. SCORE! I have to say, the people in there are extra helpful. If you're picking up for a party, they will help you carry out to your car. If you are looking for something, they will either help you find it on the shelf, or order it for you if they can get it. When I was looking for a limited run of beer, they held me some and called me when it came in... You just don't seem to get that from other packys in the area. It's why I keep going back!

I approached the counter to ask where to find the pork, stood there for several minutes while the butcher mopped and ignored me, despite looking up. Finally went to check the cooler and found an in-store shopper to ask, she brought me to where it should be but there was none, I followed her back to the counter where the butcher was quick to come to her service, and she placed an order with him rather than trying to continue to help me. The butcher went from mopping to grabbing fresh ground beef out of the case with the same gloves he was mopping, and packing it up. Recently, I purchased tilapia from the seafood counter, and was delighted by the freshness and flavor of the fish, even though I didn't cook until 24 hours later. This was a very pleasant surprise. I actually stopped purchasing fresh fish several years ago, and began purchasing flash-frozen fish only, because I have found "fresh fish" to be generally of poor quality (usually not fresh at all!) In fact, I also gave up eating tilapia 3 or 4 years ago because I found that both the taste and texture were usually poor. I am delighted to know that I can get truly fresh fish from Roche Brothers, and will definitely return to buy more. As usual, the service was also top-notch. Thank you Roche Brothers!
