I'm not sure what to think of this place. I have been in a couple of times but getting refills are the biggest pain. I was just there 3 weeks ago and went to refill my medicine. It has been 4 days and still NOTHING. I called the pharmacy and they said they have requested the refill several times. I call the clinic but it says you have to request refill from the pharmacy. Now I'm out of meds. Not suppose to "cold stop" these. But it's Friday and they don't open til Monday. Why do you have to call to request refills every month????????? Insane!!!! read more

I've been seeing Dr. Bryan and his staff for over 10 years and they are great. They are attentive, listen to your health concerns and answer any questions you may have. I never feel rushed and they listen and strive to do the right thing when diagnosing or prescribing medications. I love the onsite lab for times when I need blood draws. Some of the 1 star reviews given don't seem very fair. There is a big shortage of doctors across the US and you can't fault your doctor for being booked up. There have been times where I needed medical attention sooner than I could get into see Dr. Bryan and opted to see his PA instead, who were available within a reasonable time frame. Not only are the PA's very good a, but will often consult with Dr. Bryan on your issues as needed. In a way I think this is even better service as they work as a team. Rx refills are SUCH a hassle. I've been on the same Rx for MANY years. I've got CVS set up to auto-refill because I'm busy all the time and lose track of this. EVERY time the request is IGNORED. I set it up to refill a month prior so I don't run out, CVS sends the request. Then, 2 weeks later, CVS sends me a message that doc has not responded. When I call in to see why, doc responds with "Oh, it was denied because we need you to come in for a blood draw." NOBODY bothered to call me, in the 5 years of going thru this, I think I'm done. One would think that if they deny the Rx refill request, that I would get some sort of phone call saying that they need me to stop in. I don't recommend this place if you want them to actually take care of you. read more

Gateway Medical was a very pleasant experience from the first phone call. The reception staff was very professional and nice. The office is very well run and efficient. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Shannon, the PA I saw was very nice and thorough. Over I would recommend this practice. read more

I made an appointment here because I have been suffering with a severe skin condition on my chin, nose and mouth, (possibly caused by masks). I am unable to wear a mask without it being extremely painful, itchy and aggravating my condition even more. I recognized that this office had a mask requirement and I offered to go and wait in my car until I was called to see the Shanna, (even though the waiting room was empty and despite it being 110° outside). The front office girls (who were not wearing masks) refused to allow me in the office at all without a mask on. They said I could only take it off when the practitioner came in to look at my skin. I respectfully said I would find somewhere else to go. If this is the kind of office that discriminates against patients with certain medical conditions, then I'd rather not go here. read more

Everyone in this office has always treated me with respect ! I won't go to another doctor because these actually listen to the patient ! I read some of the bad reviews and I am shocked . Because I have never once had an issue here ! I see Shannon Murphy at Gateway Family Medicine. Shannon Murphy, PA-C is very knowledgeable, thorough and very nice. She takes the time you need to give a complete explanation of what could be occurring and what tests that are needed with what she's looking for. She is professional, efficient and kind. It's a pleasure to see her. Her assist is also efficient and friendly. The office staff is superb, to a person, they all go out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. Everyone is smiling in this office, It makes it a pleasure instead of misery like some doctors office atmosphere are like (you know what I'm talking about). I am really glad I found Gateway Family medicine for my PCP choice. read more

I've been a patient of Gateway Medical for years. My visits are primarily for an annual health exam. The people there are friendly, courteous and will answer all of your questions. I have 3 issues. 1- part of my exam should be the male exam. The last 2 visits did not include the hernia or the prostrate. I had a hernia at the time of the last 2 visits. After the exam, I should the PA (Mary) a bulge on my side. I had a hernia procedure 3 weeks later. 2- Getting the results of the blood test: The portal has not been updated with the blood test results in 2 years. I have had to call in order to get the results. They are friendly and helpful, but I should have to call. 3- PSA test results for me of "no issues" is not adequate. Such a great office! Going to the Dr. is not always the most fun experience but the staff and providers are very sympathetic, helpful and kind. When I came in, I was greeting by a very welcoming front office and didn't wait long to be taken back. The MA's were very helpful and thorough and asked all the right questions regarding what I was being seen for. I saw Shanna one of the PA's and she was wonderful! Since my first visit I have been back a few times and have now met all the providers. Dr. Bryan is so gracious and took the time to ask all the appropriate questions, I never felt rushed to leave. Sara the other PA was so friendly. I did receive a bill in the mail for my portion of the visit, which I had questions on and the billing department was very knowledgeable and willing to answer my questions. I live in Power Ranch and it so nice to have a great PCP office minutes away. I see myself being a patient for the long haul! read more

Go anywhere else. If you need to see him about something urgent, you can't get in. Needed to see him on Friday 7-26. I had high blood pressure, and needed to see him. They only gave me an appointment on Monday 7-29. So do your self a favor and see a Doctor that cares. read more

The staff worked with me on everything!! I needed a new patient appointment. I ended up with COVID. They accommodated me, rescheduled, were kind when I did finally get in. I've been going to this family practice for years I try and stay healthy so I'm not there all the time but my go to Dr is Dr Bryan who has always been nothing but great. Today life happened and I lost my keys before my appointment I called and let the office know I was on my way and arrived at exactly 10:14 by the time she called me up to see if I needed to check in it was 10:15. The receptionist then proceeds to tell me that they cancelled my appointment because I was a no-show and that they have a 15 minute grace time. I proceeded to tell her that I did call and leave a message and that it was exactly 10:15 she still sticks by we already put you down as a no-show even though I was standing right there it wasn't 10:16 it was still 10:15 and they refused to give me service. With as many family doctor's as the are in the area, I would think they'd be a little more courteous to their clientele especially when it's one that has NEVER EVER been late to one appointment. read more

Came in looking for help with what was probably postpartum anxiety. Front desk staff was fantastic. However the PA laughed at me and was exceedingly condescending. She didn't have a sympathetic bone in her body. Shame because I live in the neighborhood behind and would have loved the convenience. read more

His staff has always been very helpful with referrals, labs, appointments & prescriptions. The office is very clean. There is a team approach that is hard to find. Dr Bryant and Shanna are great it's her medical assistant that's an idiot. Not o my did she incorrectly send in my EMERGENCY PRESCRIPTION because I have a severe case of strep and tonsils stones and my throat is so swollen I can't swallow any sort of pill so it was supposed to be liquid well her medical assistant it only fills it wrong but has not answered any of my calls my mothers or the pharmacist who is begging her to answer because they know my situation. They need to find some medical assistants who can do their job properly. Keep in mind I wouldn't be annoyed knowing their busy with covid19 but the receptionist who transferred me to her literally told me she was sitting next to her doing absolutely nothing and then as soon as I get transferred to her line I get sent straight to voicemail same with my mom and pharmacy. Hire some people that can do their damn job. I've started coughing up tonsils stones at this point because your medical assistant can't be bothered to call back ‍ read more

Awesome doctors but horrible front office service. My wife had to reschedule with one of the receptionists and was later contacted by the same receptionist as a no show. Didn't sound like a big deal until the passive aggressive letter that she's rescheduled or canceled too many appts and must find another provider. Experience with the docs had been great but in 16 years experience with Customer Sevice, I'm floored at their actions. For what it's worth, Shana was awesome! read more

I have been very happy with my experience here at Gateway Family Medicine. I was pleased with my initial appointment as I felt the PA was very thorough. I appreciate that their lab is in house. That makes it very convenient for me. When I went in to have my blood drawn I brought my toddler. The staff was very helpful with him, playing with him and giving him little toys and stickers to play with. That really helped me out! Thank you for making my experience a positive one! read more

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. They do not listen and they misdiagnosis.It took me months of being sick and I kept telling them and they kept saying everything was fine. This place is horrible. I was finally correctly diagnosed by another docter and to be sure I had an additional doctor check it out. Do Not go to this office! read more

I was placed on hold to make an appointment and then I was on hold so long it put me back to the main system. Then after almost 10 mins I finally get through and the lady is rude to me. I have never left a yelp review before but I had to warn people about the office staff here!! My husband has been out on leave of absence due to a back problem and has been receiving steroid injections in his back to try and get back to work! Almost 2 weeks ago we went into this office and PAID the office and provider to feel out the paperwork and send it in so my husband can get paid!! After a week or so we received a phone call from his company saying they never received and so my husband called the doctors office who said they tried to fax it and it never went through!! There is a phone number on the front form to call if you have any problems!!!! They didn't call that number or my husbands and just left it alone!! My husband calls and tells them to please fax the form which they do and which they filled out incorrectly and than they tell my husband the leave of absence form "sucks" and they laugh about it and in the mean time my husband still isn't getting paid and they are laughing about it!! He is told on Friday that the PA is out of the office and will be back in on Monday and they will send it out than!! Lies!! My husband calls today and she isn't back in the office until Tuesday and they calmly tell him that his time to submit the form for reimbursement is on Wednesday!! Might be time to get a lawyer involved!! The PA here and the office staff don't seem to care that they are messing with a husbands ability to provide for his family of 6!! It's shameful so I just don't want someone to go through the same nightmare that we are!! Do your self a favor and go somewhere else!! read more
