He's become more social and verbal, constantly learning new things and continuously showing improvement. When I pick him up from school, I love seeing how happy and comfortable he is playing with the other children. He now tells me about his friends and what he did that day, and sometimes, out of nowhere, he'll sing songs he learned at school. The teachers are incredibly kind, caring, and patient with all the children. They genuinely show how much they care for every child's development, well-being, and education. They are always willing to discuss any questions, recommendations, and concerns I or they may have. I appreciate it when the teacher not only informs me of his progress but also points out areas that he needs improvement in. The staff also helped me with potty training and were always understanding and accommodating to schedule changes. I have peace of mind every day when I drop him off, knowing he will be safe, well cared for, and in good hands. I completely trust my child in their care. Under her guidance, he learned all the alphabets, shapes, and colors, and can now count to 20 -- skills I know are often taught in TK. Beyond academics, Ms. Elin always incorporated fun, engaging activities that the kids loved. She also helped my son become more independent with eating, which was something he really needed encouragement in. In the afternoons, when Ms. Elin left, other wonderful teachers stepped in to provide care -- Ms. Silvia, Ms. Christine, Ms. Mary, Ms. Marie and Ms. Nour. My son knows and loves them all. When I once asked my son if there was any teacher he liked the least, his answer was, "no," which says it all!) Last but certainly not least, Ms. Virgine is an incredible director. My son was both a Covid baby (super shy) and a preemie, so I had extra concerns as a first-time mom. One of the main reasons I chose LPG was the smaller class sizes, so he wouldn't be overwhelmed. I was nervous at first, but my worries quickly faded as I watched him grow and thrive. By the time he graduated, he not only had friends in his own class but also knew the names of kids from other classes. Our oldest daughter started here when she was just two and a half, and now our second daughter has gone through the same journey -- and we're already excited to send our youngest soon! What makes Kid Junction so special is the people. Every teacher pours so much love, time, and intention into the kids. They create fun, hands-on activities, celebrate holidays with so much joy, and keep parents updated every step of the way. You can tell this is a place where faith and care guide everything they do. Both of our girls had Miss Sandy, who is truly the best person to care for 2-year-olds -- patient, nurturing, and full of joy. Then they had Miss Susan, who is the sweetest! She helps build confidence in each child and makes every day special (my daughter loves when she pulls out her spray bottle and hair ties to give her a cute little hairstyle!). We also adore Miss Eileen, who does a wonderful job preparing the kids for Kinder she's a TK teacher -- she's caring, creative, and the children can't wait to be in her class. And Miss Belinda made those early toddler days so special with fun morning activities that set the tone for a happy day. We loved it so much that we decided to keep our daughters here for TK instead of going to elementary because we knew they would get the care and elevated education prior to going to Kinder. My daughters assessment going into kindergarten, she scored very high on the skills for this grade. It was an easy transition and she thought kinder was too easy she kept asking for more hw!! And holding it all together is Miss Clara, director -- she has the most tender heart and genuine love for children. We've known her for five years now, and her care shines through in everything she does -- her communication, the way she supports the teachers, and the way she continues to check in and send us updates. At drop-off one morning, I informed the teacher that my baby had a dirty diaper. The teacher responded in an irritated tone and insisted it was diarrhea before properly checking. While changing her, the teacher removed all of my daughter's clothing--including her clean shirt and jacket--and refused to give them back when I asked. During the diaper change, the teacher handled my daughter in a manner that made her visibly uncomfortable and distressed. My baby was crying and clearly upset. When I calmly asked the teacher to please be more gentle, my concerns were dismissed and both teachers in the room became defensive. When the director, Ms. Haydee Galvez-Diaz, was called in, she immediately sided with the staff without listening to me. Instead of addressing my concerns about how my child was being handled, she asked the teacher if she felt attacked. I then asked Ms. Haydee if we can speak in private. As I'm trying to explain the situation that just occurred, She raised her voice, told me I was "not happy here," said she thinks I needed to find another place for my children, and walked away, slamming the door in my face. As a working mother, I left in tears and felt helpless because I had no immediate childcare alternative. My baby was picked up within a few hours and never returned. I have since removed all three of my children from this center. No parent should be treated this way for simply advocating for their child. Instead of professionalism and understanding, I was met with hostility and disrespect. I would not recommend Montessori of Via Verde to any family who wants to feel safe, heard, and supported.
