From gyros to jumbo corn dogs, seafood, popcorn, fish, etc... you name it, they got it. They are known for their drink Ale8. Ale8 are posted and available everywhere for you to buy. Plenty of tent setup for shopping. You can buy knifes, guns, clothes, jewelry, oils, socks, carpets, etc... I must say, I can't remember the name of one of the tents that was setup but be warned. They sell hoodies & sweatshirts 4 for $10. Sounds good don't it? There's a catch. Every single piece is sealed in a bag. They WILL NOT, let you open it. Why? Because some of those have holes or stains. I was saved because I overheard a lady warning people that shopped there last year. I had 16 packages that I decided to put back because they would not allow me to open the bag and view te clothing. My friend put some of hers back and decided to just take a chance on 4. I asked her to open the bags. One of the shirts had a huge stain in it, the other 3 were fine, just had a lot of lent on it. There's no returns and no refunds. So, yes the prices are cheap but your taking a chance on getting junk. Other than that, I had a great time, the people were friendly.

Enjoyed the blacksmith demonstration, and the numerous artifacts and posters combine to form an intimate narrative of the place. The fort itself seems a little run down, and a few of the employees seemed standoffish and irritable on the day that we visited, especially the woman in the first cabin with a person. I didn't really understand why she seemed so agitated at another person near us asking a very simple question. Bizarre. We got the heck out there. The monument in front of the fort easily had a hundred bees buzzing around it, so beware if you have bee sting allergies.

We lost one of the owners of the land we set up our big red and white tent at. We will love and miss you forever TEDDY H, you touched our lives in a very special way that none of us will ever forget my friend. We also are suffering the loss of one of our friend/family member that set up with us a few weeks ago, and as Teddy, Tommy H. will always be loved, remembered and missed. These are two men that can never be replaced in our hearts. On the brighter side we will be at our normal spot under the big red and white tent close to the road. Now the task of making us all laugh and to have a great time will be left up to Jacob ( the other owner) and his sons who are all SUPER awesome. If you have not been there you must come. The whole town of Preston KY. will welcome you. The flea market areas, the front and back yards of every home, the edge of the road are all filled with vendors selling, produce, all types of equipment, perfume, appliances, wheels & tires, guns & ammo and much more. Did I mention the carnival style food vendors but especially the at "THE HITCHING POST" the Amish food (FISH or STEAK SANDWICH and THE WORLD FAMOUS FRIED STRAWBERRY AND CREAM PIES). There were only a couple of arrows and some caution tape to direct us to where we were supposed to go. Once around the back side of the barn, I parked and got out. We were greeted by the owner and told to go inside to the ticket area. Once through the ticketing area, it all started. The door slammed shut behind us and we were on our own to traverse the slaughterhouse. Dim lighting, some well-timed actor performances, a couple of sweet props to distract you, a maze, and fog machine that kept you wondering what was in front of you made the adventure tons of fun. That's all I'm going to tell you. The rest you'll have to find out for yourself! I can see myself going back again this year with friends just to see some of their reactions. I think that'd be fun. I'm also excited to see what these guys have in store for us next year. Definitely go check it out!

We arrived 40 minutes early & were shocked to see cars already lined up on both sides of the street, waiting to get in. At $8 for adults & $3 for children (4 & under free), it was more affordable than going to a regular theater where you'd only get to watch one movie. Their radio station played oldies until time for the movie, so it felt like we were in the heyday of drive in theaters. I liked that they had a cartoon short before the double feature, & that there was a countdown before both movies so I knew how long I had to get through the concession stand. Having actual food there is a big bonus! Nothing beats dinner & a movie, especially when you can get it all in one place. The butter machine for the popcorn is on the customer side, so you can get as much as you want. We got drinks, candy, popcorn, a pizza & an order of cheese sticks. The prices were reasonable & it was all good--fast & fresh. The screen was crisp, clear, big & bright--good quality & enjoyable to watch. In my opinion, an employee parking people, or at least driving through before the movie starts, would make the experience even better. Most of the customers were taking an extra spot for their chairs, which is against the rules & resulted in a lot of people having to park adjacent to the screen or far away, & there were some tall trucks toward the front that blocked the bottom of the screen. I will say from my daughter having been in the theater management years ago cost goes like this. The money made from the admission is what pays for the movie for them to get. The concession is what is used to pay things like rent, employee's and essentials. Having said that I really enjoy this place. Contrary to what some other reviews say it is ALWAYS clean. I have never seen the rest rooms closed, maybe a stall once in awhile yet it is always clean. It doesn't have a large staff but that goes with the amount of business they get. So many people stream the theaters are on the decline but I love the theater experience. I have seen it packed but have never run into a rude or unruly customer. Like anything else if people don't support local businesses they disappear then you will say remember when we used to see movies in a theater. It was and is fun. I really like they don't always play only 1 type of movies. They might have 1 or 2 kids movies but also a few adults would like. Bathroom was extremely messy with drops of blood on the floor. Not sure what happened to the previous managers but it sure could use some TLC and happy people.
