The only issue was that they were ~20 minutes late to the appointment. But they let me know they were on their way at the scheduled appointment time. Leo worked for about an hour to re-key three locks, two of which I didn't have a key for. I though re-keying Kwikset locks without a key meant you had to drill them out and replace the hardware. Thankfully Leo corrected my erroneous impression and was able to disassemble and re-use the existing hardware. He also fixed up the front door's lock, which I did have a key for, but is old hardware that was getting tricky to use. I am so glad I get to keep the old hardware - not sure if it's original to the house, but it's still cool. He keyed all three locks to the same new key and made a couple copies for me on the spot. The new keys are branded with their logo and phone number. Apparently the shape of a key's teeth correspond to numbers, and the numbers Leo chosen for my new key are auspicious ones. Kind of a fun fact! Total bill was $415. Locksmiths are expensive regardless but I didn't feel that this was outrageous for efficient and friendly help that solved the issue.
