HOMETOWN STORE June 3rd 2026. I noticed an order picker had…read morethe order cart sideways blocking the entire aisle I and others were traveling. When I approached she totallty ignored the situation and me. I kindly asked her if she would move her cart so I could get by. So instead of keeping her stupid ignorant mouth shut and moving the cart so that I could pass, The associate had the unmitigated gaul to tell me that she is working.... This self entitled rude associate expected the "Customer" along with the others to just stand there while she continued working blocking shoppers from passing the isle. Incidentally there was no reason to block the entire aisle! Lucky for her she moved the cart. I told her I am the Customer! Walmart should have a separate Warehouse to pick these online orders. This interrupting customers all the time is nonsense. I am not taking second fiddle to online shopping . I have zero tolerance for disrespectful people. I strongly suggest ALL employees including Managers and Assistant managers randomly be drug screened. I don't believe Any sober employee would represent themselves in such a fowl manner. Walmart evidently will hire any one these days. Walk down the egg aisle Most but not all egg prices are not posted. The popular dozen eggs has No price label to be found? Lifting the front row of eggs up some to see if there was a price tag on the shelf possibly being obscured and there is nothing there. Sadly its been this way for Years! Way before the Egg Scam!! The Blame rests on Management. Employees will only be as good as they are trained. I don't know about you... But I want to know how much an item costs before it goes in my cart. Especially with the High inflated prices of Today! I'm not looking for special service. Only Customer Service. Get it together Walmart!.

The bathrooms are clean. This past week my mother (86 years old) and I were doing some shopping when we were approached and asked to leave. Why? Because they found a gas leak and wanted to make sure everyone was safe. I was so impressed with how every employee was making sure the customers exited in a safe and fast manner. The smell of gas was overwhelming!! Truly. Now for what annoyed the F out of me...there were customers who were so ignorant and stupid that they were upset that they could not finish their shopping as if it was an intentional thing. And still others KNOWING why they were evacuated milled around the entrance SMOKING! WTHF!? ‍ Stupid is as stupid does! Anyway, I appreciate the employees at this store. I will continue to shop here.

The situation here is essentially over and it's just a matter of what the next steps are…read more Susquehanna Valley Mall has lost too many stores to recover, including anchor store Bon-Ton, Books-A-Million, and Victoria's Secret among many others. The mall remains in relatively good condition, despite the lack of stores. We found out why no major changes have occurred; the previous owners were deep in debt. The mall went for sheriff's sale in August 2019 and is now owned by the bank. The only major developments that have occurred is the sale of the former Sears to Family Practice Center, who have been renovating it into a clinic. The future of the Susquehanna Valley Mall is a mystery. Until it's sold to a new owner, the mall continues to lose stores in "status quo" mode. I'd like to see the former Weis sold to Ollie's Bargain Outlet, who needs a MUCH better space. I suspect the mall will have to be redeveloped by new owners and it's a real question how much will remain a traditional mall. Finally, how will the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation Project bypass affect the shopping strip when completed? There will probably be no happy ending at the Susquehanna Valley Mall.

Three stars because it is well maintained, and it does get some good pop-up stores. This area has…read moremany shoppers, some of whom like a splurge. Wouldn't a high- end store like Nordstroms or Bloomingdale's be good? Even a Nordstrom's Rack would be nice. Also, I don't think any of these would affect Boscov's, which is still essential.

It's over at the Lycoming Mall and now is the time to begin looking at the future. Lycoming Mall…read morecould never overcome the loss of four anchors (Macy's, JCPenney, Sears, and Bon-Ton) with the negligent ownership of the Kohan Retail Investment Group. The loss of Jr. anchors, including Old Navy and soon Dick's will only accelerate the malls end. What's left? Burlington and Books A Million are the best-known remaining stores. Empty storefronts dominate all wings of the mall now, with the Bon-Ton wing now being almost empty. The empty storefronts of Gap, Old Navy, Hot Topic, Arby's, and f.y.e. all remain identifiable, a reminder of this mall's better times. Ownership has not been keeping up with maintenance, as the parking lot has several areas blocked off and water damage is beginning to become more visible in several places. The area surrounding the mall has started to rebound after several tough years, with replacements coming in for Gander Outdoors, Grizzly Industrial, Pier 1, and Toys R Us. This makes the property attractive for redevelopment. What will happen to the mall? Demolition. Walmart would be an obvious option for a redevelopment, as the Williamsport area lacks a Walmart Supercenter and the current store in Montoursville has no room for expansion. Some portion of the mall and Burlington could remain depending on how creative future ownership can be. I can remember when this was one of the good malls that would be a special trip to shop at. Sadly, those days are over, like the Lycoming Mall.
