This is a pretty good Walmart location. The employees are always friendly. The cashiers are always nice. The foods they offer are always fresh. There's plenty of parking. The bathrooms are clean. This past week my mother (86 years old) and I were doing some shopping when we were approached and asked to leave. Why? Because they found a gas leak and wanted to make sure everyone was safe. I was so impressed with how every employee was making sure the customers exited in a safe and fast manner. The smell of gas was overwhelming!! Truly. Now for what annoyed the F out of me...there were customers who were so ignorant and stupid that they were upset that they could not finish their shopping as if it was an intentional thing. And still others KNOWING why they were evacuated milled around the entrance SMOKING! WTHF!? ‍ Stupid is as stupid does! Anyway, I appreciate the employees at this store. I will continue to shop here. read more

HOMETOWN STORE June 3rd 2026. I noticed an order picker had the order cart sideways blocking the entire aisle I and others were traveling. When I approached she totallty ignored the situation and me. I kindly asked her if she would move her cart so I could get by. So instead of keeping her stupid ignorant mouth shut and moving the cart so that I could pass, The associate had the unmitigated gaul to tell me that she is working.... This self entitled rude associate expected the "Customer" along with the others to just stand there while she continued working blocking shoppers from passing the isle. Incidentally there was no reason to block the entire aisle! Lucky for her she moved the cart. I told her I am the Customer! Walmart should have a separate Warehouse to pick these online orders. This interrupting customers all the time is nonsense. I am not taking second fiddle to online shopping . I have zero tolerance for disrespectful people. I strongly suggest ALL employees including Managers and Assistant managers randomly be drug screened. I don't believe Any sober employee would represent themselves in such a fowl manner. Walmart evidently will hire any one these days. Walk down the egg aisle Most but not all egg prices are not posted. The popular dozen eggs has No price label to be found? Lifting the front row of eggs up some to see if there was a price tag on the shelf possibly being obscured and there is nothing there. Sadly its been this way for Years! Way before the Egg Scam!! The Blame rests on Management. Employees will only be as good as they are trained. I don't know about you... But I want to know how much an item costs before it goes in my cart. Especially with the High inflated prices of Today! I'm not looking for special service. Only Customer Service. Get it together Walmart!. read more

Ordered a food pick up order from the store and received this email letting me know that it could be delayed up to two hours. That is unacceptable. When you take the orders there should be a limit on how many you take so you can service the people when you say you were going to. Unprofessional. Change the limits back to the way they were because when I order previously, they were always available during the time provided. Or will go to Redners instead. read more

I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that this Walmart allows people without a mask to enter even though they have mask required signs. I would never have gone into this store if I would have known that the mask wearing policy is so lax. Walmart Supercenter - two minions with the words whaaaat - Department Stores Near Me - Tamaqua, Pennsylvania

Never in my life would I ever think about writing a review for a Walmart. So here is my first one. Yesterday (1/4/15) was incredibly foggy out. We were checking in on the lake house and I needed to stop at Walmart to pick something up. Pulling into the shopping center you couldn't see anything. Seemed like something out of a movie! Walking into the store I was shocked with how cleaned the store was, and everyone was so nice, the aisles were organized, and they have the nicest bathrooms I have ever been in (for a Walmart). The scan your own items section was quick and efficient, many kiosks. Just a good over all experience. read more

This is the worst Wal-Mart I have every been to. They are always out of stuff, they NEVER have enough registers open & I have bought expired food items on more than 3 occasions! I should not have to check for expiration dates on my groceries at a retail store. They recently put in self checkouts abd instead of having 1 cashier/monitor watching all tge self checkouts to get customers out quickly... they had 20 custoners waiting in 2 lines! My ice cream melted before i even got to pay for it! I refused to purchase it of course and I they just put the melted icecream back in the freezer which is just wrong let alone unsanitary. Unfortunately its the only place in the area to get certain items at a decent price or else I would never shop here but its definitely my last resort choice! read more

Overall a nice clean store. Bathrooms are well kept. Main issue is with items not being stocked, depending on the day of the week. Nothing's worse than having to buy all name brands bc no one has restocked all day. Employees are usually always friendly. Can't beat being open 24hrs. read more

Apparently no one works the dressing rooms on Sundays. And a male worker who stopped when he heard the phone ringing at the dressings rooms made weird beeping noises with his mouth and ignored me when I asked for a dressing room, then proceeded to walk away without saying anything in English to us. Store is nice and clean, but the employees stand around and do nothing. Even when you walk up to them and ask them a question. they look at you like you are an idiot for wanting them to cash a check. Snobby and stubborn service, but the store itself is good. Good selection and stock, usually can always find what I am looking for. read more

Walmart in Hometown is very close to me. However, for a place known as a "supercenter",,,there is lots to be desired. Cashiers have little or no customer service skills, employees "dont know where products are found or when they will be in", and for the amount of people "walking" the store,,,its not maintained very well, bottom line: a SuperCenter is not always the answer. read more
