Usually I come here with my husband to get their delicious, fresh and homemade Italian bread and their fresh cuts of Italian meats and cheeses. However this time around I went without my husband to surprise him for his birthday. I am definitely not Italian in the slightest so me ordering or evening pronouncing Italian meats was definitely a challenge. Luckily ALL the workers at Public Market came to my rescue! Before ordering an antipasto I asked what they would recommend for four people to have when we go to a winery. They were so accommodating and recommended I get freshly cut Italian meats and cheeses instead of ordering an antipasto due to the small amount of people I was going to have with me. In the future I am DEFINITELY ordering one when I have a larger party. Everyone was so nice to me and excited that I was ordering my first freshly cut prosciutto and soppressata it was so sweet and I felt comfortable enough to ask questions and not feel rushed. When we ended up going to the winery the amounts of meats and cheeses I ended up getting was the PERFECT amount for four people and so delicious!! I am so impressed with this deli and I'm so happy I live only a few minutes away! My husband and I will be coming back for years to come!

And this was not just acceptable to them it's part of the job description.... I never shopped there before I worked there because they had high prices and rotting food for sale, I won't go back after seeing the mismanaged food handling practices. I've been a chef for 25 years, it's the most mismanaged and sloppy kitchen I've been in.
