It was PACKED when we went so I knew something was going right for them. The two men at the front taking orders were so kind and so helpful. I finally was able to try Gator Ice Cream!! It was a Saturday night and the line was out the door! I was so excited and I wasn't budging. I don't normally "wait" in line for more than 10 minutes to eat. The ambiance was very happy, pleasant, cute, and fun. The service was really fantastic. This was a nice surprise after an afternoon at the beach! A group of nine of us went and initially I thought that we might overwhelm the small operation but no, they moved us through like champs. As soon as we entered, several small parties arrived as well and the place was packed. The owner was visibly pleased by the line and put his phone up to take pictures/videos. I must say that he has a lot to be proud of! This is definitely some of the best ice cream in Jacksonville. And with two people in our group who can't eat dairy, we were thrilled to see the number of non-dairy ice creams and sorbets. We sampled several flavors before deciding what we wanted. I enjoyed their version of ube and banana cream pie. I ended up ordering rocky road only to learn that they didn't have it in stock. So I got oreo crunch. The other flavors our group ordered were butterscotch crunch, totally coconut, mint chocolate chip, strawberry, mad vanilla, strawberry sorbet, dairy free chocolate, blueberry cheesecake, boozy butterscotch crunch, dairy free toasted coconut rum, dairy free mint chocolate. I liked the little waffle wheels that were included with all the ice cream scoops. I love rocky road so while I was a little disappointed that I had to pivot, the oreo crunch was delicious. There were chunks of cookies inside! And the waffle cone that I got was fresh. Everyone loved the ice cream and sorbet. However, the dairy free options were a miss. The flavors were great but the consistency was not good at all, gelatinous almost. It was very weird and unlike any nondairy options that we'd tasted at any other place. We tried calling back to ask about the ingredients but no one answered. Despite the non-dairy ice cream snafu, I would definitely recommend this place. If you are lactose intolerant or have a milk/dairy allergy, opt for the sorbets! I hope that in time they get more seating as we had to awkwardly stand outside the store and eat in/on our cars in the parking lot or on the way home. read more

The ice cream is made in-house and they have a fantastic variety of flavors. On the day of my visit, they were offering 26 flavors which included 4 dairy-free & 5 "adult" flavors made with liquor. I HAD to try one of the adult flavors so I went with Butterscotch Crunch (made with butterscotch schnapps) in a waffle cone. I loved it so much that I completely forgot to take a picture because I devoured it so quickly! When I walked into this small little ice cream shop, I never expected to be greeted by such an amazing store. The man, who I presume is the owner, makes all the ice cream homemade in 3 gallon batches. When I tell you this place had many flavors, it had a LOT. I think there were maybe 50 flavors, with a lot of them being exotic and flavors I didn't even know they made ice cream of. The owner spoke to me quite kindly and offered me to taste some of them. When I finally ordered, he made me a pint of ice cream with three flavors in it, at my request. The ice cream I had was out of this world. I got the peach cobbler, passion fruit, and the mango ice cream. I would absolutely buy my ice cream only from here the next time I come to Jacksonville and I recommend you do to! Came here after pouring candles at Wick N' Twisted on a Sunday afternoon. We were the only patrons at the time and about five staff members came from the back to wait until we decided on a flavor. While the ice cream was good, and there were 50+ flavors to choose from, the experience was very strange as only one person was needed to help us and it was more pressured to have all of the employees staring while you're trying to make a decision. I think one person may have been the owner and he was correcting his employees in front of us multiple times, which can be an awkward position as a customer. Maybe they're still trying to work out some kinks or go through training, but hopefully they figure it out soon because they have a good product to offer. Went to try the dubai strawberries and icecream. There was no prices listed anywhere for these items and the price for these two things came out to $32 dollars which is insane.
