I have been to Gatsby's at least 9 times and every time the budtenders have been polite and helpful. Even on 4/20 when the store was full of customers they were very patient and working hard to serve everyone as quickly as they could. Won't deliver south of 9 Mile without credit card payment anymore because - and I quote - "One of their drivers was robbed at gunpoint so they can't take any risks south of 9 mile anymore".... so if you live south of or are south of 9 mile, they automatically consider you a threat and will discriminate against you. read more

Long story short called and explained that it will not charge and it's still full, they told me they have to call me back if they can switch it or not.. after being investigated over the phone like I've done something wrong. Wise up and go to a different dispo! I've been going to Gatsby for a few years because it's the closest dispensary to my house, but unfortunately almost every visit has been a negative experience. The music is so loud it's difficult to hear employees or ask questions, the staff often come across as disengaged and not very knowledgeable about products, and the prices are consistently much higher than competitor dispensaries. To every customer reading this, you are better off going somewhere else. I've never had an issue at ANY establishment until I visited Gatsby Cannabis & this was my first visit. I bought a pen and realized it was the wrong one. When I went back no more than 15 mins later - I gave the pen back in exchange for the one I needed. The lady budtender with long brown hair wearing glasses, took my pen & lead me to believe I could exchange it. After taking the pen that I PAID FOR, she asked which one I wanted & in the same breath tried to charge me for another one! As soon as I saw she was trying to charge me twice (right after saying I could exchange it) I requested that she give me the one I initially paid for back. THE PART THAT BAFFLED ME was when I asked for the pen that I DID BUY, she forgot that I gave it back to her. She then accused me of accusing her of stealing my pen. After speaking with a manager, I was told they would check the cameras & give me a call. It's been 5 days & I have yet to receive a call. This was matter handled horribly and I'm so glad that it was only $15 that I donated to this place. Save your money. You'll thank yourself later. read more

I called and notified "Alette" supposedly she's a manager there, she was aware and didn't want to swap it out for me knowing they're a million dollar company. So I went in and bought some concentrate. This might seem like a really nitpicking thing but to me it's not because I am a really heavy live rosin smoker. There is specific brands that I smoke because I know for a fact that they make it the correct way and certain brands that I smoke because it's a certain way that they extract the concentrate so there is a string called known and known does collaboration with Matty B I only smoke matty b by known concentrate so I bought one and on the description it says known Matt B collaboration and I bought it because it says Matt be collaboration. It was razzlez flavor one so those aren't actually Collab with matty B. It's just a regular known strand. So 90% of the dispensaries out there that has MattyB is usually about $10-$15 more expensive because the Matty b it's kinda like the s tier of the know brand. Anyways, you guys lied to me about the advertisement saying that this was Maddie B's collaboration when it wasn't. I know this for a fact because known that have matty b has a signature by them on the container. I drove an hour each way to go here. I had been before and liked it. They had a flower on special I liked on the web site, so I drove out there. When I arrived they told me I was wrong. That the item I wanted could not have been on the web site for the price I quoted. I had 2 other employees come over and tell me I was wrong. I couldn't connect to the web with my phone and just had to believe them. Once I got home, I saw I was right, and the receptionist checked and confirmed I was right, and it was a mistake on their part. She would have the manager call me and make it right. They never did. So much smaller than I expected (as I had my car serviced here back in the day) as there is no privacy whatsoever (the guy two feet away was from South Carolina visiting family, you get the picture). Decent- not great- selection. Prices are a good 10% to 20% higher than Ferndale. Still haven't received the text regarding the loyalty program (it was kind of confusing so looked forward to reading about it).
