Of the 3 that actually showed up I decided to go with Affordable Glass. The salesman/owner Zach was the most professional of all the companies and he took the time to go over options with me and explain how they install. Even sketched it all out on a diagram to provide me with a visual aid. I decided to go with Affordable Glass for my project and I am very glad I did. They had very competitive price and communicated clearly with me throughout the whole process. They installed the glass on the date and time I requested as well and went over care And maintenance with me. When installing there was one bracket missing from the kit and the installer David promised he would be back on Monday to complete. Which he did they called me early Monday to again schedule a time to come back out and install the last remaining bracket. I will refer this company to anybody that I know is looking at doing a project like this. I think some of these other reviews that were negative on here were likely from customers that had sticks up their butts and embellished on how the process went. I had a significant job and was told the glass for my doors would be in within 5-7 business days. Almost 6 weeks later the job was finally completed. Long story short-they made significant errors in measurement and cuts. Additionally I had installers leave tools and caulking guns on my carpet when they easily could have put them on the tile. No effort was made to ensure they didn't dirty the carpet, i.e....no drop cloths, etc. in fact, I had an installer show up in flip flops. Not professional or safe at all!!! These guys are working with heavy glass-flip flops are not only gross, but dangerous. Imagine a cut foot bleeding in your home! I want to like these guys, but unfortunately a lack of professionalism makes this outfit look like a Mickey Mouse business. Just being honest. I am in the construction business and was hoping these guys may do future work for me....won't be happening.

So he called (right then and there!) and, apparently, the owner (name rhymes with "Larry Sheever") wasn't too thrilled. "Larry" refused to "return" or redo the glass and told the delivery guy to leave the glass here and go. I could see nothing would get accomplished with the delivery driver, so I went down to their store in-person (I didn't bring the glass because it wouldn't fit in a car). "Larry" met me at the entrance and started yelling and making threats: "Who doya think you are! You BETTER be here to pay your bill! You received the glass you ordered!" "It's the wrong size." "You sent us the measurements!" "No, your guys came out and did the measuring." "NO THEY DIDD-INT!" "Yes, they did." [IT'S LIKE TALKING TO A SIX-YEAR-OLD.] After more back-and-forth, I told "Larry" I'd give them a bad review ("Go ahead, like it f---ing matters to us!"). He then threatened to "blacklist" my name with other local glass companies so I wouldn't be able to get my order made elsewhere! In all this dealing with "Larry Sheever," I kept my cool--but barely. I left, paid the bill on my credit card (my wife had to call the card number in to "Larry's" wife because they don't/didn't have ANY other payment options), then waited a few weeks for the credit card statement to generate. I promptly reported the $290 charge as fraud and now I'm leaving this review. Sportsman Glass never responded or followed up with me, but I did get my money back through Visa. If these guys aren't the worst mom-and-pop business in Collin County, I don't know who is.
