When we ordered a shower enclosure from Simon at Plano Shower Door neither he or his assistant told us that they glass would have a green tint to it unless we ordered an upgraded version called crystal clear. I wasn't there when the shower was installed, but once I saw it, I called the company and the lady who answered the phone explained that there was an upgraded version that would be totally clear and I said don't you think they should have told us that at the time we placed the order and she said "oh yeah we should have told you that" We have asked for a quote for the crystal clear and they haven't gotten back with us (3 weeks later) and I don't think they ever will. Dale, the owner was promptly to respond to me when I ask for a quote, and completely dropped the ball after I hired his company to install our glass shower. the shower glass was measured incorrectly and the install was a complete DISASTER!! the installers did not answer any of my concerns, and unlike when I was placing my order, Dale was unresponsive to ANY of my calls. Even after calling his office several times and had taken picture of the disasters job they did on the install, not to mention the new tile of my shower they broke, Dale NEVER called me back. after waiting 2 weeks we received a call that the new glass we were waiting for, had arrived at their store defective. we waited another 2 weeks and nobody showed up at the scheduled date. my husband and I had to take time off from work on 2 other occasions until the installers finally showed up. This has been a complete disaster and still to this day Dale has not found it important enough to talk to me and apologize for the HUGE disaster his company caused in our new bathroom ( having to have all the tile work replaced and all the delays and time off my husband and I had to take waiting for his installers to no show!!)
