Can not be happier with our service from Gateway. We rented a limo for a ride to the Hollywood Bowl and called about 5 limo companies before deciding on Gateway. They picked up the phone right away (which is a HUGE plus for me) - were extremely friendly, answered all of my millions of questions, and were upfront about their pricing (which was unbeatable in my opinion.) the limo arrived 10 minutes early, waited for me and 6 of my friends who were running late, and the driver was super cool and the limo was spotless. There was no crazy body damage on the car like I've experienced with so many limos in LA and AC blew ice cold. The driver let us play music on the AUX and got us to our destination right on time. Finally got a call back, and while still unsatisfied, I appreciate the company attempting to resolve this issue. They've agreed to refund 5% of the 10% charge from using a different credit card than the deposit was booked on. The driver said that he had told us there would be a charge to use a different card, but that he didn't know what it would be. I don't remember this, nor do any of the other 3 girls that were listening to him. Moral of the story, the limo gets you point a to point b. Not a wonderful limo experience, but good enough. MEMORIZE THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL. Seriously, it's long, but make sure you read it the whole way through. Instead of instructing their drivers to know information about their credit card charges, they insist you should know better. Use this service at your own risk. But if you do, definitely understand all the hidden ways they can charge you after the fact. read more

Right off the bat they told me it was 95$/H - get the bill 20 minutes later in an email and it says 130$/H plus 4-5 other charges. They have a scam with an emergency escape moonroof that looks like a moonroof on the h2 hummer limo my friend opened and the whole piece of glass flew off and broke - they charged me $1000 for it and no where did any one say anything about this- the driver was completely illiterate and unable to speak english. He has my ENTIRE GROUP LATE TO THE EVENT- They are professional scam artists- dont get involved with this service. I ordered one when I was DJing at a nightclub and it was the biggest mistake of the night. NEVER again. They charge you without confirming- amateurs because they make money on the scams- they also told me they DIDNT HAVE FULL COVERAGE INSURANCE on these commercial vehicles :/ good thing there wasn't an accident - that could've ruined some lives. Ill see them in court. What was supposed to be 500$ turned into $1500 real quick AND THEY LEFT MY GROUP AT THE CLUB WITHOUT A RIDE HOME @ 2 in the morning. I have to say,I was so happy I was able to get a limo 5 days before prom for my daughter. I gave my deposit over the phone on my credit card. I told her (anita) who was helping me said I was set. I told her to email me all the information, time pick up,cost,deposite,address,etc.,she said ok,so a day pass,no email. I said to myself,I'll wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow came,still no email,I call her,she said she was busy that she will email it to me tonight,I said ok,fine,thank you. Next day,no email. So I called her again,mind you,prom is Saturday, I'm calling her back again on friday. She answered, I told her about the email,she said that I have to cancel due to no drivers want the job. I'm thinking,wtf. It's 12pm ok,she didn't call me,I called her. If I didn't call her,when would she call me. I was furious. What kind of service they run there.i wish they could of told me way sooner but they didn't and now my daughter was crying and I try calling other places and every one was booked. **WARNING DON'T USE THIS COMPANY** This company was hired on 6/9/18 for 4 hours. We ask the driver to take us the scenic route up PCH. He proceeded to take us another route. Mind you we paid ahead of time. He refused at the start of our 4 hour trip. He pulled over 3 times wasting about an hour of our time. We never got to the eatery that we planned on going. He took us on some LAX scenic route that we didn't ask for. This company was so unprofessional. I will put this on my facebook with my 6,000 followers and ask them to post to their followers. I will never use this company again and I hope whoever read this post does the same. I also notified the Better Business Bureau. This guy didn't not do anything we asked him. He also stopped again to ask for more money after he didn't take us anywhere we planned on going. He was rude and also asked us to get out of the limo in the middle of L.A. with young kids. So you have been warned. I hope your celebrations doesn't end up like ours did. Please look at reviews of the companies before doing business with any company. I'm sure some of these good comments are done by the people at the company. I almost wanted to say the man had a problem with the color of our skin by the way he treated us. I will be putting in a discrimination complaint also. I have never had service this terrible.
