My mother had her car go there for body repair, all prepaid, they kept the car for months without completion and we had to get her State Representative involved to finally get the work done and car returned. It was all very disappointing and frustrating. read more

Went here because of the ratings..had to get my car apraised it took him 5 seconds and said I will email mail you the quote...iys been 2 days still no quote??..not professional at.. the lady at the desk is very nice...the guy that does the quotes is all over the place!...waste of my time and gas to even go there...if you have to chase someone to give them money find yourself a better autobody shop..ridiculous doesnt take a week for a bumper paint job quote! read more

We chose Gaumond's based on favorable work a family member had performed by them 4-5 years ago. Unfortunately, it seems that the quality of work and attention to detail have gone downhill. Our car required minor repairs...a new bumper cover and some minor work on passenger fender. When we arrived to pick up our car, we noticed that the bumper had a 3-4" long ridge of excess paint/clear on the bumper that you could see/feel and that the color was off. On the fender, there were hundreds of visible sanding scratches under the clearcoat, they had taken a chip of paint out of it (likely in reassembly), the point of the fender was sticking out 1/8" from the body and the headlight was pushed up against the fender with no gap (as opposed to the other side). Understanding that sometimes things slip through, we let them keep the car a second time to resolve the issues. Unfortunately this meant we needed to pay for a rental for 4 days. When we arrived to pick up the car the 2nd time we found that the only issues they resolved were the excess paint ridge on the bumper and the point of the fender sticking out from the body. The chip of missing paint, the hundreds of sanding scratches on the fender, and the poor fit of the headlight/fender area remained. They admitted (again) that this wasn't right and asked to take it back in a couple of weeks so they could do the job properly. Thankfully they also offered to pay for the rental this time. Well, we just picked up the car for the 3rd time and I honestly can't believe what they have done. Yes, they painted the fender again, and finally fixed the chip in the paint. Unfortunately, there is now a new ridge of paint where the fender meets the bumper that you can see from 10 feet away, the headlight remains misaligned/smashed up against the fender, AND to make matters worse they decided to "blend" into the other fender (which required no work to begin with), resulting in thousands of new scratches on that panel. Needless to say, leaving it with them for a 4th time would have been folly so we left and are working with our insurance company now. Throughout this whole ordeal it seemed that they were a bit overwhelmed. There were many delays (2 months total) in the initial drop-off/scheduling, they often forgot to call us to tell us of these delays and given the missed "fixes" the front office and shop have some obvious communication issues. Our family member who had the previous (and much more extensive) work done couldn't believe how poor of a job it was either when he saw it. We have no idea what's going on there, but something is clearly amiss as there's no way it should have been delivered in this state in the first place, let alone three times. The one good thing we can say is that they were at least personable. The quality of work is terrible, however, and we won't be recommending Gaumond's to anyone ever. read more

Both times I've gone to Gaumond's have been great. (At least as far as auto body shops go - not most people's favorite way to kill time.) The first time was for a replacement front bumper on my Honda Accord. They did good work in short time, and were up-front about the cost. The 2nd time I brought in the same car was after it had been totaled by a front-end loader (while innocently and legally parked). They didn't end up doing any work on it: they told me it was almost certainly a total loss, which my insurance adjuster later confirmed. Carol at the front office was extremely helpful and made a bad situation as manageable as possible. They're also a "trusted partner" shop of my insurance company (Commerce), so that made for a smoother process. I hope I never need auto-body work again, but if I do, I'm heading back to Gaumond's. read more

This shop has been around for over 60+ years and it's clear once you meet with the staff. In the past two months I've had to bring my car in twice, not because they messed up, but because sadly someone hit my car on two separate occasions. I am so happy I found this place! I don't have a lot of body work done on my car but when you do, you really want to find someone you trust, does good work and won't rip you off. These guys were fantastic! They helped with dealing with my insurance and the other party's insurance, they got me a rental car at no cost to me, finished the work twice as fast as quoted and they cleaned the inside of my car along with cleaning my tires!
