The aides seem incompetent and often don't know what your warmup routine is or what you're there for, as if the information is not updated for your visit. Also, some of the therapists seem over aggressive in their treatments, and as an older patient I don't and can't do heavy weights and frankly I got worse going to my sessions. They also leave you unsupervised for gaps of time where no one can correct your form or take your heavy weight from you. The therapists also are always having in depth conversations about sports, their weekends, their lives, their pets, as they 'work' on you and seem unfocused and careless about their jobs. The front desk staff is also rude and disrespectful at times and there is always a backlog of patients waiting to be checked in! I came here because it's close to my house and i have used a doctor from this practice for years but I've now found other options for my treatment and PT!

I had a right Hip Arthroscopy for FAI with Labrum Reconstruction on 4-19-2024. Immediately after surgery my hip pain was gone and the recovery was a breeze. I do not know if I am the exception but I was walking without crutches by day 11-12 without any issues. If you need any hip procedure in the DMV Dr. Wolff and his team are without exception the best Orthopedic Surgical Group around! Highly recommend!

I went back to him every 2 to 3 months for that year explaining to him that I was diligent with my physical therapy and taking the medication he told me to take, and yet the hip wasn't getting any better. But He continued to insist it was ongoing inflammation for over a year. Since he wasn't willing to consider what else it might be or offer any other solutions to help me, I went out and got a second opinion. So I saw another surgeon, and after he operated on me, he determined that I had extensive scarring inside my hip binding the hip flexor muscles to the hip capsule. After he removed all the scar tissue from my hip, it was much better and pain free. Dr. Wolff refused to consider that anything else may be going on, and so he wasn't able to help me. While a nice man, I found that he was rushed during our appointments and he wasn't always in the moment. So I don't feel he was always listening to what I had to say. Regardless, him continuing to insist my pain was due to inflammation for an entire year wasn't really him thinking about what else the problem might be or to consider other solutions.

His imaging diagnosis convinced me of the importance to move forward with hip replacement surgery. Summit Orthopedics works closely with Sibley Hospital so I was able to schedule a Monday morning surgery and overnight stay at the hospital. The Nurse Navigator Supervisor at Sibley provided information on Pre-Op procedures and an appointment with Sarah, Summit's Nurse Practitioner, involved a review of the surgical procedures and the list of medications with a review of frequency. Dr. Siram brought together a great surgical team comprised of the Sibley Hospital Orthopedic doctors and nursing staff and an anaesthesiologist. The first nurse assigned to my post-Op care placed top priority on Pain Control and coordinated a meeting with In-House PT/OT Team to review and practice the Post-Operative exercises. I completed 2 weeks of In-Home physical therapy with Potomac Home Health Care, affiliated with Johns Hopkins and Sibley. The PT specialist was exceptional: checked vitals; reviewed my medications; provided a home exercise plan that helped me to begin walking with and without a cane, before starting In Office Post-Op PT. It has been about 8 months and I was doing great until 2 days ago. I started having pain in the back of my knee and calf. I started taking aspirin to help if it was a clot. The office will not give an appointment until mid October and today is September 10. I will utilize urgent care or go to the ER if it persists. I am concerned about infection. They transferring my telephone call to a different department. I said what seeing his PA but apparently you can't do that. I recommend the surgeon but not the follow up. Ps my primary doctor will fit me in tomorrow unlike my surgeon's office.

He was very confident that he could give do the surgery and improve my quality of life as it pertained to my foot pain and issues. I am going to be honest, there was a good amount of work done to my foot. Repair a plantar plate, fix a mild bunion, and remove 2 neuromas. He said he needed to shorten the second toe. I did everything that he told me to do. I did physical therapy in his office for the full recommended time. I went every week wearing 2 masks in a crowded office. I did all recommendations...Alex Brinlee my PT was excellent. However, Dr Feldman kept pushing the goalpost when I was not pain-free with the right amount of mobility in my foot. First, it was, give it 3 or 4 months....then, it takes at least 6 months, then, 9 months I am sure it will be better, and finally, this usually takes a year...Well, we are about 1.5 years post and my second toe doesn't move, the pain barefoot is the same or worse and I STILL can only wear sneakers comfortably. I cannot WEAR a small wedge or simple ONE inch heel. He said that I would be able to wear better shoes and was VERY confident. One visit that I had where I was complaining about my pain and the thickness on my foot, he ASSURED me that the thickness GOES AWAY and also told me that my x-ray was beautiful. Hmmm...Oh, I am glad my x-ray looks so lovely but how about you acknowledge how the PATIENT feels? I definitely felt he was being extremely arrogant. So, as time has gone on, I am very grateful that I can walk. I am grateful that I have my foot! But not happy with the outcome of my surgery. I did NOT want to post this review, but I wrote Dr Feldman a letter letting him know of my displeasure. Of course, he did NOT respond to me. That in itself speaks volumes. I want say that while I do NOT think that Dr. Feldman did anything WRONG. It just happened but his arrogance and lack of solutions are what is disappointing. Oh, let me not forget to mention that he recommended that I "protect my investment" by purchasing $300 custom insoles that HURT SO MUCH I CANNOT WEAR them. A total waste of money. Think twice about going to this practice!!!! Is this the type of doctor you want? Arrogance and no offering of better solutions to what a patient considers a FAILED surgery?

They are unmistakably driven by profit over patient care, and are a perfect encapsulation of what's wrong with the American medical industry. I had 1 appointment with Dr. Keeling. He was late. He then rushed through our appointment as fast as humanly possible, spending maybe 6 or 7 minutes with me. He told me I had some medical-jargon-named condition in my knee, and that I should start PT in their PT office ASAP, ideally that day. He then tried to leave at the point in the appointment where a good doctor would then sit and talk me through the condition, what I should do, what I should expect, etc. But no, he didn't even tell me the used name (arthritis), and provided no helpful advice or guidance going forward. He just wanted me signed up for PT and he wanted the appointment OVER. So I got home and had to google all of the information that a good doctor would have provided, and, ya know, trust that what I'm finding on the internet is sound medical advice. That would have been enough for a 1-star review, but there's more scumbaggery. Within days of the appointment, I started receiving urgent emails from their office claiming I had an Overdue Balance with them. After getting 5 or 6 of these emails without having gotten a physical bill for them for anything, I called in (they don't have an email address). The woman who answered assured me that the physical bill had been sent out and I would see it in a few days at the most. Several MONTHS go by, and I receive nothing except more urgent emails. Today, the physical bill finally arrived 3 months after the appointment. The bill claims a SECOND co-payment is owed, and that I am 60 days past due. It's this kind of used-car-salesmen nonsense that keeps people, in general, hesitant to go to doctors at all. So my advice would be to stay far, far away from this profit center and Dr. Keeling.

I went to see Dr. Gazdag and he was wonderful. He was funny and an excellent professional. We took more X-rays, so if you see a light in Rockville, it is just me glowing at night. I am in a boot and a cane, but no surgery needed. Amen! The people who work with Dr. Gazdag and Ortho Bethesda were awesome. They were very nice and helpful. I got great care and I have respect for the office. And, thank you, Stacey for making sure I was taken care of.

I also had a friend (over 60) who had a complete shoulder replacement. My friend showed me the X-rays and demonstrated how his shoulder works now - truly a miracle! He has completely recovered and has full use of his shoulder so he can do what he wants to do again. He followed through with all physical therapy but attributes the success to Dr. Petruccelli's skill as a surgeon.
