In looking for a a favorite food truck I saw that they were going to be at a brewery we had not been to so decided to check it out. When we walked in it gives you the feeling of a local hangout. Several groups were relaxing with a beer and enjoying the sports on the tv. We walked up and ordered a flight to check out the different beers. They have quite a few options to choose from. We came here with the kiddos. It was pretty cool, and their food trucks were quick and yummy (pizza). The beer was standard, nothing jumped out. I would absolutely go again. I really liked the family atmosphere and how nice the service was. She was quick and helped me set up a table and tab. read more

This place is cute! Small brew spot with an enjoyable atmosphere. The service was good (there were only two other people there at the time.) Hubs and I stopped in for flights to check this place out. The inside is decorated very "farm" like. Outside seating is decent with a meh view looking at the parking lot.. They have merchandise for purchase and beers to go, and you can get growlers here. The only negative I saw was the dirty patio tables outside and no salsa for the chips. I did like that they offer little snacks for purchase, I just wish there was a little more. They do have food trucks daily they said. I'd be back for the DIPA. read more

Swung by today because I was having lunch at Dominick's (best sandwiches ever) and glad I did! They've got a great selection, but their honey wheat and hazy ipa were phenomenal. Tasted tons of beers and the guy serving was nice as can be. Had to grab a couple cans to take home! I wish I had more time to sit and have a couple but it'll have to be next time. Revisited on an early Friday evening and the place was pretty empty. Didn't see much on the beer menu that seemed interesting or much different from my previous visit. Service was indifferent and awkward. Employees can make or break a customer experience. This one, coupled with the lack of innovation in beer styles, broke my interest in returning again. Granite Bay Brewing Company is a true local, microbrewery, located in the Granite Bay district of Roseville, CA. As you enter the brewery, you'll notice the bar, with all 15 beers on tap. You walk up to the bar, place your order, and the friendly bartender will pour your beer, direct from the tap . The taproom is furnished with a long , high table in the center, surrounded by smaller, high tables. The decor is comfortable, and both elegant and rustic. The brewery has a small covered patio just outside the side door, which would be the perfect place to enjoy a beer or two when the weather is right. Granite Bay Brewing Company is truly a micro brewery, as the brew operation is located in the back of the taproom. The brew tanks and all the equipment used to brew the beer is right out in the open, and if you're timing is good, you may be able to watch the talented brewmaster in action. My first pour was a pint of #9 from the menu, "Good Company IPA," which is a classic West Coast IPA. Such a great way to get a late Saturday morning started the "west coast" way! If you love the taste of hops, you'll love this beer, as with the first sip, I could taste the hops. But... the hops wasn't overpowering, and the beer wasn't bitter, as it was simply well bodied, slightly, very slightly on the sweet side, and simply delicious. You're talking about a great gold country beer! My second pint was Number 19 on the menu, "Uno Mas," a classic Mexican lager beer, which was last on the menu, which is maybe how it got the name... Classic, mellow, full-flavored Mexican lager beer, with much more flavor than your run-of-the-mill, mainstream, commercial American lager beers. This beer was simply amazing, and when I closed my eyes, by taking a sip, I could imagine being in a Mexican cantina in Ensenada, as this fine beer tasted exactly like countless beers I've enjoyed during my many trips to Mexico. Muy sabroso! Brewmaster Carter knows how to brew exceptional beer, and how to treat guests like family, with welcoming conversation and a friendly smile. The beer is cold and refreshingly delicious, the taproom is comfortable, and the atmosphere is friendly. Granite Bay Brewing is a nice little brewery in Granite Bay. They have about 15 brews on tap with a little bit of everything. They do not have a kitchen, but they do get a few truck for their patrons to buy food from. I have experienced this on the weekends with a variety of different vendors. Mexican, grilled cheese and bbq. The ambiance is chill, and it is really cute at night with their lights hanging above. The staff is always friendly and their establishment is clean. Was looking for a new brewery that I hadn't been to and found this one! The staff is amazing and answered all my questions about beer as I am not familiar. There was a food truck and good music. We hosted our work holiday party at Granite Bay Brewing Company, and it was fantastic! This is the second event I have hosted there. The staff is friendly and Carter (the owner) is so easy to work with. They allowed us to arrange the furniture with what worked best for our group. The space is perfect for mingling, and the beer selection was a big hit with our team. Everything ran smoothly, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate. This is a fantastic spot on the Placer County beer scene. There are always a great variety of fresh beers on tap. The interior is beautiful, with exposed wood beams on the ceiling and the shiny brewing equipment in the back. Carter, the owner and brewer, provides great service. There are several large TVs inside showing the big games of the day, and there's plenty of seating to relax. There is often a food truck onsite if you get hungry. Got there a little after 4pm opening. Brought my dog and dogs are welcome. They were packed. Lucked out and found 3 seats sharing a table with a couple who were there for the food. We found out about this place because of Mediterranean Mayhem's food truck. I guess we're all officially groupies. Love this food truck at a brewery or winery thing! I get to try the new places knowing my designated driver (hubs) will get a good meal. I like a flight at a new place. They only had 5 beers so that made it easy. My daughter ordered a beer and I got a flight. We had all the beers. First off they had no flight holders. I could get a flight, but I had to carry the 4 glasses to my table. What huh? You just opened? A server walked up right when I had my split second to decide. She immediately said there were flight holders now free. She'd wash them and have them ready. Excellent. We took our beers to the table and hubs ordered our food. It would have been fun discussing beers with the couple sharing our table. It was SO LOUD we could barely hear each other across a picnic table. The 5 of us basically gave up talking. We drank. We ate. We left. The beers were OK. The sour was sour, but no flavor to it. The hazy was a good basic beer. Normally I don't like stouts. They are usually too strong and thick for me. This one surprised me that it was watery and had a pleasant coffee after taste. We visited this brewery last night, on trivia night! It was a lot of fun. The IPA was great and we look forward to trying the other ones on the menu. One thing I really liked about this place was that they have a seltzer on the menu that is gluten-free. The beerrtender explained that they keep that line completely free of gluten for those who need it. Just outside they had a food truck that served little pizzas. They have a sourdough crust that was really tasty! Although we bombed on the trivia, we had a lot of fun. There is a nice chill atmosphere at this location and we can't wait to go back. read more

The service is impeccable with friendly and helpful staff. While food is available with the assistance of a food truck. A a local musical act preforms in the background. And if art mimics life or life mimics art... they've created a local masterpiece!! Carter starts brewing in the mornings at 5 am and works to make sure everything is ready to roll by 11 am. The taproom opens at 4pm and they feature live music and food trucks on weekends. The vibe is super family friendly (they have toys and bikes for the Little's) and dog friendly (lots of fur leggeds while we visited). TVs play the games without being obnoxious and Carter is the most profoundly humble yet knowledgeable guy you'll ever meet. He sat with us at our table and happily answered all our questions and made us feel like we were lifelong friends- We will 100% be back and cannot wait to see the inevitable success of GBB!! Granite Bay Brewing Company is fantastic! It's our new local, community focused place we love to go to in Granite Bay. I have lived in Granite Bay my whole life, and we needed a place like this for the community. Families are welcomed to join, and you don't have to drink alcohol to have a great time. But the pints are really good. GB Brew Co brings in delicious food trucks, has a ton of options for cold beer pints, and even has live music! The smaller, intimate feel of this brewery makes you feel welcomed and at home with friends. Don't forget, there is happy hour every Sunday! The pints are already a pretty good deal; but on Sunday for a couple hours during happy hour, they are $2 off. The service was personable and friendly. I called one time to ask about happy hour, and it turned out to be the owner on the phone who answered. He was so nice and helpful; he is very down to earth guy. So if you're driving through Granite Bay for Folsom Lake, or passing through for Roseville or El Dorado Hills, make sure you stop here for a cold one. You won't regret it! We visited for the first time on Cinco De Mayo. They had 4 beers on tap and a taco truck on-site. The beer was tasty and the ambiance of this brewery was great! The brewery was extremely kid friendly with complimentary soda and water for the kiddos. Even with all the seating it still got pretty crowded fairly quickly (it was cinco de Mayo), but there was still plenty of standing room inside and out. Nice neighborhood brewhouse. Very much a working brewery, creating craft suds by day and moving gear out of the way for patrons in the evening. The spot does lack some ambiance and seems like it was established very quickly with no plan for theme or decor plan. Really it's Jus farm tables in a open room. But, they did have live music and a food trailer outside. The beers were okay but a lil young. I will chalk our first visit up to it being such a new spot.
