    Cute inside!
    Lori M.

This place is cute! Small brew spot with an enjoyable atmosphere. The service was good (there were only two other people there at the time.) Hubs and I stopped in for flights to check this place out. The inside is decorated very "farm" like. Outside seating is decent with a meh view looking at the parking lot.. They have merchandise for purchase and beers to go, and you can get growlers here. The only negative I saw was the dirty patio tables outside and no salsa for the chips. I did like that they offer little snacks for purchase, I just wish there was a little more. They do have food trucks daily they said. I'd be back for the DIPA.

It's the perfect home town family friendly bar. Staffs amazing, beer is good, different food trucks all the time or outside food is welcome. When it comes to it you can't help but love a family owned brewery l

Revisited on an early Friday evening and the place was pretty empty. Didn't see much on the beer menu that seemed interesting or much different from my previous visit. Service was indifferent and awkward. Employees can make or break a customer experience. This one, coupled with the lack of innovation in beer styles, broke my interest in returning again. I wish them luck going forward.

Loovve this place! Nice local microbrewery with about 15 beers on tap. Every beer we get is always great! The girls on staff are super friendly and sweet. They always have a different food truck when we are there all of which are great. Tiny bomba pizza is our fav.

Fifteen beers on tap... brewed in small batches... locally sourced ingredients... brewed in-house... thanks a talented and friendly brewmaster... Granite Bay Brewing Company is a true local, microbrewery, located in the Granite Bay district of Roseville, CA. As you enter the brewery, you'll notice the bar, with all 15 beers on tap. You walk up to the bar, place your order, and the friendly bartender will pour your beer, direct from the tap . The taproom is furnished with a long , high table in the center, surrounded by smaller, high tables. The decor is comfortable, and both elegant and rustic. The brewery has a small covered patio just outside the side door, which would be the perfect place to enjoy a beer or two when the weather is right. Granite Bay Brewing Company is truly a micro brewery, as the brew operation is located in the back of the taproom. The brew tanks and all the equipment used to brew the beer is right out in the open, and if you're timing is good, you may be able to watch the talented brewmaster in action. My first pour was a pint of #9 from the menu, "Good Company IPA," which is a classic West Coast IPA. Such a great way to get a late Saturday morning started the "west coast" way! If you love the taste of hops, you'll love this beer, as with the first sip, I could taste the hops. But... the hops wasn't overpowering, and the beer wasn't bitter, as it was simply well bodied, slightly, very slightly on the sweet side, and simply delicious. You're talking about a great gold country beer! My second pint was Number 19 on the menu, "Uno Mas," a classic Mexican lager beer, which was last on the menu, which is maybe how it got the name... Classic, mellow, full-flavored Mexican lager beer, with much more flavor than your run-of-the-mill, mainstream, commercial American lager beers. This beer was simply amazing, and when I closed my eyes, by taking a sip, I could imagine being in a Mexican cantina in Ensenada, as this fine beer tasted exactly like countless beers I've enjoyed during my many trips to Mexico. Muy sabroso! Brewmaster Carter knows how to brew exceptional beer, and how to treat guests like family, with welcoming conversation and a friendly smile. The beer is cold and refreshingly delicious, the taproom is comfortable, and the atmosphere is friendly. When you're in the mood for some of the best craft beer brewed locally in Placer County, look to Granite Bay Brewing Company, located on Auburn Folsom Rd, in the Granite Bay district of Roseville, CA.

Granite Bay Brewing is a nice little brewery in Granite Bay. They have about 15 brews on tap with a little bit of everything. They do not have a kitchen, but they do get a few truck for their patrons to buy food from. I have experienced this on the weekends with a variety of different vendors. Mexican, grilled cheese and bbq. The ambiance is chill, and it is really cute at night with their lights hanging above. The staff is always friendly and their establishment is clean. It is nice to have a brewery right in Granite bay. If you have a day on the trails, you should definitely stop by and check them out!

We were seated in the patio in the shade, so it wasn't too insufferably hot on this very sunny, warm day. Jägerschnitzel is my go-to at German restaurants and the one at Kathrin's is one of the best I've had to date. My plate was generous and the jägerschnitzel was tender, the spätzle was too, and the mushroom gravy that topped the jägerschnitzel was just so good. I cleaned my plate. I also got one of their small pretzels to start the meal and loved how soft and chewy it was, and the mustard had a good punch of spice. I thought it was cool that their pretzels are sourced from a local Bavarian factory. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the dressing on the green salad that comes with the jägerschnitzel. I'm really not sure what it was and can't say I've had anything else that tastes like it before, but it was strong and I was good after just a few bites. However, that wasn't enough to ruin the meal for me with as good as that jägerschnitzel was. While I was only here because I was visiting family who live in the area and recommended this place, I'd be happy to return if my family wanted to come back on a future visit.

We went at an odd time of day so there were only a few people in there, but the ambience was fun and kitschy, giving the feeling that we were in a tavern in Germany. We got a large order to try out as much as possible: a couple large pretzels, a Reuben and Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich, Fish & Chips, Apple Struddle and Black Forest Cake. The pretzels were fantastic and held up well left over. The Reuben was one of the best Reubens I've ever had, and I've had a LOT. The fries were great too. Everything was delicious!

Bold flavors, expert preparation, pretty on the plate and generous portions. Bambie had the 1/2 chicken fried southern style. Crispy ouside, soft and moist inside. Side of mash potatoes, side of perfectly sauteed carrot slices. I had a cesar salad. Fresh, crisp, again a big portion. The dressing was a perfect blance of creamy, piquant and a tad peppery. The croutons were crisp and flavorful. Best Cesar salad that I've had in years. My main dish was the pork carnitas tacos. Topped with heaping mounds of shredded cabbage. Creamy sauce on the cabbage. A side of mild-ish chipotle salsa served on the side to pour on the carnitas. The tacos were so big that they were almost too unwieldly to hold. But I persevered and gobbled them like there is no tomorrow. Satisfying. A big hungry guy will be perfectly happy after polishing off the plate. Wine selection is small but has the usual good suspects in the reasonable price range. Mostly California wines. I live 2 miles from this place. Tonight was my first visit. Oh yeah I'll be a frequent return customer. Highly recommended.

Located in the middle of downtown Roseville, parking is not hard to find at all as there is plenty of street parking and a nearby garage. The decor inside is stunning. You can see industrial-size equipment for the beer fermentation process, and the dark wooden walls match the cellar theme perfectly. However, we were seated at a small table with bar stools that wasn't very comfortable. It was a warm day outside, so the AC was blasting inside and I got cold very fast. Shout out to my husband for walking back to the car to grab my jacket! We started off with drinks. I got the Thirst Trap mocktail, which was sweet and tart and reminded me of Nerds candy. However, I don't think it was worth the $14 price tag. My husband got the Vernon Street Lager, which was a very tasty beer. For an appetizer, we ordered the Pickled Veggie Jar. It had a great variety of brussel sprouts, onions, radishes, and more that were deliciously pickled. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for our entrees to arrive, so we ended up eating half of this just waiting for our food. Carbonnade Flamande: My husband ordered this braised short rib stew served over mashed potatoes. The beef itself was very good, but the portion of meat was very small compared to the mountain of mashed potatoes. It tasted nice, but for $26, we expected a bit more meat. Moules Frites: I got the mussels cooked in broth, served with duck fat fries and crostinis. The mussels were plentiful and the broth was very flavorful. Overall, the food was decent but the fries were the absolute best part of everything we ordered and everything is on the pricey side. The service didn't really stand out either. There was no reassurance or update on why our food was taking so long. Plus, water was never served automatically, and when I finally asked for some, our server only brought one glass even though we were a party of two. This was not worth the $100 we spent on dinner and I don't think I would find myself back here.
