I know they have multiple Central Florida locations, and I've heard good things about them from friends. The Food Factory has lots of different dining options, but I was craving tacos and I was the only one in my group who opted for them. Sadly, this experience did not live up to the expectations. I appreciated the ease of the kiosk ordering and that the food came out quick. I decided to get 3 tacos (steak, chicken, and carnitas), as well as a mango margarita, and a cheese quesadilla for my son. All the meats were extremely dry with hardly any flavor. The tortillas were crumbling and cold. The frozen margarita was pretty good, but a tad too sweet. Honestly, the plain cheese quesadilla was the best tasting item I got. Maybe I just caught them on an off day or got the wrong thing. Everyone seems to rave about the birria, so I would be open to trying that next time. Ya win some, ya lose some.

Sure, the people are nice enough, but I am quite literally ALWAYS waiting 15 minutes for a single coffee. Often times its more, like 20-25 minutes. Like literally every time I patiently wait and it hits me - "hey, I've been waiting a while, wheres my drink?" The food comes out quicker than the coffee usually! I ordered food from a place across the street, walked over to Craft, order a coffee, it took 18 minutes, and then by the time I picked up the food and got back - my food was cold. Crazy work. All the other shops do it fine; Deeply, Stemma, Lineage. Framework etc - their average wait time is like 5-8 minutes once you order. Craft has some serious issue with the efficiency of their barista line. And I am aware craft coffee isn't immediate unless you're getting drip - I'm only ordering an Americano, its one of the easiest beverages to make. I will sometimes even people who ordered after me get something fancy and then get their drink before mine! And to that note, its not the best coffee. Its surely good, its quality; but they're not making the best stuff in town. If there's some extra steps or something going on, its not worth making me wait at minimum 15 minutes for a drink when there's literally no line, 5 people sitting down in the shop and 6 employees. It makes me not want to go to this shop ever, its just so unfortunately convenient to where I work that its THE place to go. So thats why I'm writing this - were in the same space and I want to see them improve their wait times. They've been consistently bad for far too long! EDIT: I forgot I wrote a review in 2023 being more forgiving but still complaining about wait times. Well, clearly that has not been fixed!

The staff are really friendly and helpful…read more The building is narrow inside, but there's also plenty of seating outside I'm not a coffee drinker, so I decided to try one of their seasonal offerings, the Cookies & Cream Latte: espresso + milk of choice + house made cookies & cream syrup + hazelnut syrup + crumb garnish. It came iced, and I only learned recently that I could have ordered it hot (I told you I'm not a coffee drinker), but I think iced was the better way to go. It was really good. Not too sweet, with a nice bite to it. My date chose the Shaken White Pineapple: shaken espresso + milk of choice + fresh pineapple puree + white chocolate sauce + lavender bitters + dried pineapple garnish. She said it was good too. They've got a nice food menu that I'll likely try next time I come here.
