This place is fairly unassuming from the outside, but we are so happy we tried. DELICIOUS Food (I cant get enough of their garlic toast) and such friendly people. I went here last weekend with my teenaged kids. I remember going here as a kid and when I realized that it's still open I thought it would be fun to bring them. Unfortunately, it was not good. I am pretty sure that the decor, the Kay out, the menu, etc hasn't changed since I was last here 35 years ago! The food was not good. We had two pizzas and a pastes dish. All of them were bad. We also had a few appetizers. Again, they just weren't good. The service was mediocre at best. We get there about 45 minutes before they closed and we were eating when they closed. They were clearly annoyed that we were still there eating and it was super uncomfortable. Needless to say, it was disappointing but provided some good laughs as my teenagers all made fun of me for picking ut. read more

The ambience did not appeal to me personally but I was there alone so perhaps that wasn't a fair test. However I found their whole menu too spicy for my taste and was surprised how spicy for Italian food. I think everyone in the southwest gives a nod to spiciness and forgets that there are those of us who cannot tolerate it or do not like it. read more

Service is horrible and absolutely untrained in any of the basics. Server took my fork & knife w/ the salad and didn't bring me a fresh set while I had to wait as my meal was just chilling out as I waited for a fresh set of utensils. I can't stand inept servers and this place specializes in hiring the most idiotic people. Had to remind server to get me our drinks...she was like "oh my gosh....I totally forgot!!" Pick up order for two pizzas. Very friendly person who took my order and gathered the order up when I arrived. Pizzas themselves were very good. This was my first time having pizza here. Reasonably priced, cheese on top of the pepperoni, which was awesome. Good crust. No floppy greasiness. Have been going to Colonnas, but this was better in my opinion. We tried this place on a whim. It's a local, hidden gem. We attached the appetizers: cheese sticks, Italian egg rolls, and garlic knots. All delicious. Sandwiches are excellent: meatball, chicken parm. And we ordered lasagna. We finished with cinnamon/sugar dough (an interesting mix of sopapilla and churro). Those went down like water. Service was excellent. Everything is clearly made fresh. We will be back. Four stars because it is a little pricey read more

I really wanted to love this restaurant as it is local, established and well loved by its regulars. Unfortunately the food was super disappointing :-( My supper club chose to come here on a Friday night adventure because it was too hot to cook. The location is awesome, located seemingly in a residential area. We got there around 6:00 and there were very few vehicles and/or people there (which should have been a sign). The hostess was nice and seated us right away. My supper club always chooses to order a variety of items and split them. We chose a pepperoni pizza since their pizza seems highly loved on yelp, chicken parmigiana, the combo plate and a couple of sides. The food here is not cheap with the entrees being $15-16. This would be fine normally but all the tables had 'bread baskets' but no bread comes with your meal. This seemed a bit strange as the bread is usually a staple of good Italian. The pizza came first and we all were excited to dig in. After the first two bites we were trying to describe what it reminded us of...three of us all independently said 'Tony's frozen pizza'. That is not a good sign. Their pizza was so much like the $2 frozen pizza it was uncanny. They did put a ton of cheese which was great...but the kind of cheese they used made it way over salty. Three bites and that was about all we could handle because of the salt content. We then tried the other food. The chicken parmigiana itself was ok and the Ravioli ok as well. The real problem was that the marinara sauce which was on everything (spaghetti, ravioli, etc.) was so incredibly salty. This was unanimous amongst our table. Usually my palette uses/needs more sat than the average person...so for my to say it was too salty means it must have been way over reduced or over salted. It was so salty we couldn't really eat more than a couple bites of it. The meatball and Italian sausage we got was incredibly flavorless as well. The service was nice and the regulars there seem to love it. Unfortunately the food was a huge miss for us. read more

I first experienced their awesome Italian food back in the 80s as a kid. At their old location in Aurora. I try to treat myself to their delicious pizza as much as possible. It's not what it used to be. For the longest time all of my family considered it the best in Colorado. That's no longer the case. The quality has slipped over the last few years. Hidden treasure pizza joint! This Italian pizzeria is nestled into an unassuming neighborhood nook directly on the corner of Dry Creek and South Quebec. While turning into the place you may think you're just in a residential area but this tasty pizza lovers eatery is right in the center of an apartment complex. Ambiance - The restaurant is much bigger than I expected and can seat large group easily. The staff was very friendly and warm. The vibe is very casual and feels like you're hanging out in the neighborhood with the locals. I went here for a sit down dinner on a Thursday night with my fiancé and another couple and had a great time. Service - Timely, efficient, and informative. The waitress was able to tell us about a lasagna dish that wasn't listed on the menu. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. Food - Three of us split a 24" Granny Mariano pizza which was loaded with generous toppings of mushrooms, onions, garlic, and hunks of fresh tomato. This pizza usually comes as a white pizza but we requested traditional red Mariana sauce and it was delish! The dough is SO good - fluffy, airy, and flavorful. The toppings are fresh and tasty and they make sure to give you a hearty helping of gooey mozzarella cheese to blanket your pizza. My fiancé got the cheesy beef lasagna that was a special - I snagged a bite and it was mouth watering, flavorful, and had tons of sauce to dredge your bread in. Great, classic Italian fare! My one critique was we started off with garden salads that were not notable - they were essentially a bag salad from the grocery store. I would definitely recommend this place if you're a pizza lover looking to mix things up and try a new pizza place! read more

This crust was a bit on the doughy and thick side for me, but the sauce and cheese were tasty. Send my husband out to pick up our pizza and he had a bit of trouble finding it. Didn't seem to take too long and soon we were eating piping hot pizza at home watching the ballgame. Interestingly Enough, any additional toppings other than cheese are placed on the pizza and then covered with a layer of cheese which makes biting into a slice a bit of a surprise... Went here tonight with my parents for dinner and while it was different than I remember as a child, I was still pleased. The atmosphere is very much small business/ mom and pop but that's exactly what this restaurant is, and that needs to be considered. Parking is plentiful and they have both an indoor dining room as well as covered patio. While I will say the prices were a little steep ($15 for lasagna, $12 for fettuccine Alfredo) the food was, in my opinion, spectacular. The place is fairly quiet, they have a bartender and 2, maybe 3 servers max, but that's all they really need. Our server Anamarie was very nice, and GM, Tony came to our table to make sure everything was in order. We chose this restaurant specifically because we wanted to support a local business, and I would say our experience was on par with that. If you want Cheesecake Factory food and portions, then go to Cheesecake Factory. A little pricey, but at least I know my money is going into the community and not a corporate conglomerate. GeJos does happy hour and daily specials, they are definitely worth a look. read more

Ugh! I hate writing this review because the venue is close and cozy and the service makes you feel at home, but the food quality just isn't there. The ravioli is dry and feels microwaved, the chicken parm is overcooked and too small for the price. Even the sauce lacks a secret (or just salt). I'm so happy Ge-jo's is back, they have all the same recipes that I remember as a kid. I have been there a few times. The weekly specials are a good buy, Monday is all you can eat spagetti and Wed is my favorite, discount canolis. My only concern is the price point.
