This review is to the pet lovers. I am a responsible dog owner. I've NEVER had an issue of bringing him to any pokemon event or store because he is so well behaved and they don't even notice he's there because of how quiet he is. However, this location does not allow dogs UNLESS they are in a STROLLER. Yes, a stroller. Not sure how that applies to service dogs but yea. They would not let him in because it was not a stroller even though he was secured to my chest inside a backpack. I respect rules and regulations however, Ive never heard of a store policy that requires a STROLLER. I think I would have minded it less if they just said no dogs allowed period but the fact that it was just because he wasn't in a stroller ticked me off. How was the store? Wouldn't know. For the 30th anniversary of Pokemon this year, my girlfriend and I decided to complete the first edition Base/Jungle/Fossil set. There was a girl at the booth (might've been his daughter) who helped us out and made us write down all the cards we needed. After we wrote down all the cards we needed (about 60 cards, holo and non-holo), we left while they began looking for them. We gave them our phone number as well. After about 2 minutes, we were called and told to speak to the manager (Kevin) directly. Because the value for these cards were so high, he wanted to make sure we really in fact wanted the cards and knew how much they were going to cost before looking for them. He said that unless we wanted to buy all the cards, they weren't going to take them out because he didn't want to have to "pay his employees only for us to walk away" LOL what? You want us to agree to buy all the cards even before you take them out? Without even checking the condition? What on earth are you smoking? Also, did I forget to mention he charges a TEN PERCENT fee for using Venmo/Zelle/Card?? That's laughable man. He then proceeds to tell me there's a near mint Charmander 1st edition Shadowless for 2k on TCG Player. "Are you prepared to spend that much?" he asks, in the most condescending tone. Stop judging your customers man. My gf and I are Software Engineers who make a decent amount of $$ from working in FAANG. I know how much these cards cost, and I'm prepared to spend that much. You don't need to speak to people like that. You lost thousands of dollars you could have made just from disrespecting us. This shop might have the cards you're looking for, but they're so stingy and rude that buying any overpriced cards from them isn't even worth it. Even if he sold me the cards I needed for half the price, I legitimately wouldn't even buy them because my mind has created such a negative association with him and the cards already, that having them in my binder would just make me sick. this review is long overdue. i have been to Diamond 9 more than a handful of times and have never…read moreleft disappointed. they really care about their customers, young and old. ive even been fortunate enough to witness them doing charitable work with non-customers as well. every single person i have had the pleasure to interact with there have been pleasant. including the sea of vendors that are there on wednesdays and saturdays. the pokemon selection is not immense that it becomes overwhelming, but definitely more than enough to warrant spending more than half an hour shopping. of course it helps that almost all their cards are priced at or sometimes even below market so obviously you want to buy all of them. to sum it up, Diamond 9 has all the makings of one of the best LCS in the area, and I feel lucky to have them so conveniently located near me. i will be coming to this shop for years to come.

I saw some familiar faces, and met some new folks. Luckily, I came early enough to get good-valued cards while they were still unbought and left feeling very happy. The cards do have a wide range in price depending on the rarity and condition. Overall, I had a great expedience here. These guys kept the two boxes and didn't hand out any prizing for the event. They ended up selling the boosters from the event for 200% markup. Avoid TCG places like this, they are a cancer to the community.
