Velorang is the new kid on the block and is hot hot hot; located conveniently right on Sherbs at Girouard next to Parc Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, the sanctum sanctorum of The Deeg. Velorang is easily appointed to fix any bike job you've got. No matter if it's an easy brake adjustment, quick tune-up, detailed tune-up, or even a major fix, the folks at Velorang know exactly what's up, they know the score, and can get your bike back to you in no time. Seriously, I took my bike in there for a tune-up at around 1PM one day a little while back, and the mechanic told me it would take a day or two. They called me back at 4:30PM the same day and told me my bike was ready to be picked up. Now, before I took that bike in, there were all sorts of problems; the gears wouldn't shift properly, the chain was all jacked up, and the brakes were loose, to enumerate a few. This bike came back perfectly brand new, spick-and-span-new as the day Marie-Crystal-de-la-Montagne was born. I thank and applaud the folks at Velorang for their professionalism and skilled workmanship.

I've bought the most delicious chocolate+coffee cake from him once. The filling didn't have the same texture and taste as the typical French pastry shops and the croissant shell was so so. I have had their almond cake and it was a bigger success than their almond croissants. The plus side is it's the one of the few places on Queen-Mary that sells pastries so it can come in handy in case of an emergency if you live in the area.
