My friends and I recently came to Geisha Mix for dinner. From the outside it doesn't look like much but the inside looks really nice. There's two sides to the restaurant. One side is for sushi & they have an all you can eat option or al la cart. The other side is the hibachi. They had some really unique sushi rolls. I haven't seen before and some unique side dishes like the tacos. The hibachi comes with the standard salad and soup and I like that they have an option for fried rice or noodles. The chef we had was awesome. He was super funny and had some great tricks. This would be a great spot for a date night or special celebrations. read more

Well tried this place and it was really good, but there was 2 things I didn't like. The menu was dirty finger prints all over and my fav unagi was a roll not nigiri. So all in all it was really good and seeing a sushi Chef I haven't seen since my Yama days. The only thing is I hope they never change with the quality and the Consistency, cause that's what I disliked about Yame sushi. And its on the real eastside of Vegas, plus Los Olivos is right next door, another hidden gem. Will be coming back so make sure the menu are wiped clean and get a 5 star review. read more

Found this place online and upon initial welcomes there was a discrepancy with the online menu prices and the menu prices we received in person. However our waiter was super friendly and immediately apologized and got the manager who honored the online price. Throughout the rest of the night our waiter was incredibly friendly and so cheerful. After reading some of these reviews I'm convinced they bribed ya'll with a free meal or paid you to leave a 5 star review! This place is.. for lack of a better term the true definition of a "shiit hole" -at least on the "sushi" side. I used to come here when it was the original Geisha House- I was sad to see it close so I was geeked when I seen it open as another hibachi establishment! However, my family wasn't in the mood for such so we decided to eat on the sushi side. BIG MISTAKE. It was a Sunday, and there were probably about a total of 12 people in there (including me, hubby and daughter) Our drink order was taken relatively fast, but the wait time on receiving said drinks - you would think they traveled to the Fiji islands to bottle up our water because my God did it take 100 light years for us to get our glasses of water. As a distraction to the wait time our "order taker" and I call her that- because she did not a damn thing to "serve us". We put in our sushi order 4 orders of yellowtail with jalapeño and Siracha, 6 orders of garlic tuna and some other appetizers like food from their very limited menu- she then comes back and asks if we want rice with our sushi...so confused here...maybe we didn't make ourselves clear when we were ordering or it could of been because of the AIRPODS in her ear? There was also another table in there that was completely neglected- and when I say neglected- meaning they were sitting there for a good 5-7 min and NOBODY acknowledged them so they got up and left. Like how does that happen? It's not even busy. It took FOREVER for the sushi to come out. They only had one sushi chef. The employees didn't have a care in the world as they were getting up close and personal with one another and what looked like a "chef" called our server to the back with him. Finally our sushi was brought out and there was literally only 2 pieces of yellow tail and 2 pieces of garlic tuna. again, confused. So we don't eat it. We wait a good 5 min before an employee comes over and asked if we're good- my husband asks where the rest of the sushi is? Obviously he's not our server - so he goes to find out what's going on. Meanwhile the sushi chef disappears.... and then finally our server reappears to the table and asks us what the issue is.. and we let her know- we ordered x y and z where's the rest of the order and she replies with "yeah sorry about that the chef is being slow and just taking his time I guess" - that was enough for us- we left the sushi on the table as nothing else came out after waiting 15 min for only 4 pieces of fish to come out ..and we went to our normal sushi spot YAMA. HORRIBLE SERVICE! The sushi looked edible though, it was cold to the touch. BUT I would avoid this place at all costs- at least the sushi side- they suck over there. Hibachi looks promising-- BUT I think I'll stay away from this establishment for good as this is no "hidden gem" like someone claimed it to be...it's more like a dumpster staffed by trash people, tucked away in the corner because you're not supposed to find it. I've been twice and I wanted to love this place, but NO. I wash in fine dining here in Vegas for 30 years so I HOPE for decent service. The servers definitely need training. Nobody was good. Everything took too long. 2 or 3 different people would ask the same questions. So disorganized. I had the hibachi both times. We actually had to wait for a hibachi chef. Why wouldn't they expect people to order what the restaurant offers??? It was about 6:00pm, they open at 11:00am. The place was empty except for someone's children at a table with staff and another couple that sat down about a half an hour after us. The food seemed fresh but everything was cooked in a sweet sauce. Not good. It was my friend's birthday, which I told them at the beginning but they brought the check while I was still eating not remembering her birthday, and not even asking if we would like dessert. After I said something, they brought her ice cream with a candle. The ice cream was good but the sprinkles were crunchy rock hard. Not appealing. I hate writing negative reviews but I really don't understand how they got the rating they have. read more

Well.. what can I say about this place... we wanted to come in for some sushi and was pleasantly surprised that there was habachi! We decided to go and give it a try. The moment we got here the staff was excellent and accommodating. Carlos was are server and he was very attentive. The habachi chef, Gio was the kindest and funnest person. He made our night by being funny and putting on a wonderful experience. The place looks new and the restaurant was clean. The food was top tier! Freshly made in front of you, dinner and a show!
