Wow, we.were so excited about our first take out dinner here. It was exceptional! My sesame beef was extremely tender and not over cooked or over sauced. My husband's egg foo young was cooked to perfection! Not over cooked and not deep fried. The egg flower soup was tasty. The fried rice is tastless and so is tje "chow mein" Not worth the calories. I would juat skip tjose. We told our son that we found our new Chinese take out place! So, the next time we ordered the same dinner we were looking forward to good food. Terrible thing, it was nothing like the first order. My beef was over cooked, tough and full of stringy stuff. It was way over sauced and full of sugar. Not like the first time AT ALL! And my husband's egg foo young appeared to be deep fried. It was also way over cooked! So I called the restaurant and complained. Was told a new cook and they replaced the order the next day. Third time was not the charm exactly. My sesame beef was not as good as the first one, but I could eat it. Still a bit overcooked. My husband's egg foo young was still over cooked. Talked to the person about this. He said that they had 3 cooks. Too bad they don't have a standard way of cooking for all 3 chefs. I asked the name for the best cook so I can check who is cooking when we want to order. Unfortunately, I dont speak whatever language he speaks. Could not understand him. This is so sad because we need to be able to have consistency where we order our food. We cant order and hope for the best cook to be there. I have found this same problem at Pho restaurants where each cook have their own recipes. That makes no sense. If we had been disappointed in our first meal, we just would have not gone back or told anyone it was good. I feel bad for the owner bc we want them to succeed. But allowing bad food to go out is going to kill his business. It's sad. Now I'm not sure if we will go back or not. Does anyone out there remember when fried rice was actually day old rice, fried in a pan with flavors and fresh veggies? How do they call the current rice at most restaurants fried? Frozen peas and corn and just soy sauce to turn it brown? Fried rice that is actually fried has a whole different texture and "chew". It's obvious. And chow mein is not plain noodles collered with whatever is in the kitchen. No fresh veggies. If anyone knows of a place that actually fries their rice, please post it. I can totally understand fast food like Panda Express cheating on the details. But not a place with sit down eating. Please do better. read more

I've been craving Chinese food for a while now and literally creating carts every day across different delivery apps, never fully committing. Today I couldn't resist anymore, and after hunting for the right spot, I finally gave in to China Passion -- and I'm so glad I did. What sold me was the Szechwan chicken and the BBQ pork fried rice. And everything had strong ratings. The food portions were generous, everything arrived hot, and I was left completely satisfied. The attention to detail really stood out. They gave me so many condiments -- I was genuinely happy and grateful. Even the hot mustard on the ribs was a 10/10 . Food is good but just found a tiny little black rock while chewing and grinded two of my teeth that now are chipped I came to find out. Called to complain they asked for a photo of damage and the rock to be sent to blah blah blah, I'll just never buy from this place again and hope to file a law suit here soon. This time I had the beef chow fun. It had a generous amount of noodles, and the beef was tender and tasty although there wasn't as much as I would have liked. There were plenty more bites of just noodles and bean sprouts versus bite with beef in it. If they had at least double the amount of beef in the order, this would be a 10/10. Alas, I can only give this a 6/10 for lack of beef. The General Tso's chicken was dry, and the sauce had barely any flavor at all. It tasted like watered down oyster sauce; I had to use 3 soy sauce packets just to get through it all/ The vegetables were basically raw as well, and not wok fried and cooked through to give it the authentic Chinese flavor. 2/10 would not order again. Decided to try something new. Hot garlic chicken with a side of egg rolls. I added a peach slush for my drink, which was delicious. I like dining in, which means comfortable booths, metal utensils and glass plates and bowls. No Styrofoam, which made for a much nicer dining experience. Most of their business is takeout or delivery. The portions are generous and the service super friendly. The hot garlic chicken was delicious. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. I ordered this as a personal dinner, which included egg flower soup, Crab Rangoon, and a choice of rice or chow mein. I had the Kung Pao Shrimp and Potstickers. The Potstickers were not fried and then steamed, as I am used to, but the chicken and ginger filling was perfectly balanced and delicious. The Kung Pao Shrimp abundant, full of perfectly cooked shrimp, zucchini, and crunchy celery and water chestnuts. It was wonderfully spicy too. Found this place while out and about in the area (we live across town) and checked the reviews and they all recommended this place so we decided to give it a try & they did not disappoint. I ordered the General Tso chicken lunch special and my husband ordered his go to - shrimp fried rice. And both were absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy and the sauce is flavorful. And the portions are sizable. They shrimp fried rice was cooked perfectly and nice amount of shrimp (some places like to skimp on the shrimp lol) The service is great. They forgot to bring out a portion of the meal (I was so distracted by how good everything tasted I didn't even notice) the server came by with it and some extra spring rolls for the "inconvenience" and apologized. Nice touch especially unprompted. The ambiance is that of your typical small local Chinese restaurant but it is quaint and clean. Highly recommend to check them out if you are in the area. read more

First time here thanks to other yelpers. We ordered to go for Christmas eve dinner. Was so pleasantly surprised with their half duck dish. Get it. it's worth it. It's so special and delicious that I might need to order it every time we are in town. The duck wasn't oily like other places...it was perfect in every way. I had extra sauce and was eating just that dribbled on rice after the duck was long gone the next day. We also ordered vegetable pan fried noodles, green beans, kung pao tofu for my vegetarian mother, a couple other dishes. All good. The side fried rice is a very generous portion. My other half wanted orange chicken. It was tasty and not oily. This style wasn't swimming in sauce. If you are accustomed to a saucy orange chicken, add sauce on the side. I shall return. read more

Very tasty Chinese food! I especially enjoy their chicken & shrimp egg rolls. They taste freshly made (NOT store bought or made from frozen). Probably the 3rd best egg rolls I've tasted. My other favorite dishes are the Mu Shu Pork, Egg Foo Yung and Crispy Orange Beef. Now, I will admit that their prices are about 15 - 20% higher than other local Chinese restaurants, but the quality of ingredients and preparation as well as the large portion sizes easily defray that cost difference.
