Hungry? I was super hungry this past Saturday after our event at Binion's, so we stopped at Poke Heaven, and being that I don't eat poke, I got the Korean chicken on a bed of brown rice. Takes a while, because it's freshly made when you order it. That's the upside to the wait. I enjoyed my Korean chicken, it was perfectly seasoned and fried just right. What does that mean? Fried, golden brown, juicy inside and not tough. I asked for no garnish of green onions, cause I'm not a fan of them. The place is clean and simple, it was after around 1pm on a Saturday when I got there, so it's was kinda quiet, with just one family eating at a table. Maybe I should've held off on the brown rice, cause it's dry, but oh well, that how brown rice is. EIther way, I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken, and since they load up the plate. I had leftovers for my daughter to eat when I got home. Though I don't like poke, I've only tried a piece once in my life, Poke Heaven makes it look so good that I think I will try a poke bowl the next time I stop there. I was in town for work and didn't want to leave my hotel to venture for lunch, so I hopped on my delivery app and found Poke Heaven. The rating was solid and it was flagged as being a local favorite, so I decided to go for it. Ordering was quick and easy and the pricing was solid. For $20 I got a rather large bowl of poké that included a generous amount of my proteins of choice (crab and spicy tuna). Everything tasted super fresh and it was the perfect refreshing lunch. My only qualm is that I wish they put a little bit more of the spicy mayo in the bowl. It definitely was the lightest amount that I've gotten from any spot. WOW...the flavor blend is amazing and the recommendations are spot on. You get 2 types of protein (if you want) which I recommend getting the ahi and salmon with the eel sauce. I ordered the regular salmon and tofu poke bowl with rice and greens, green onions, white onions, cucumbers, regular house sauce, sesame oil, yum yum sauce, yuzu ponzu, edamame, pickled cucumber, furikake, and sesame seeds.
