I came without an appointment and was easily accommodated. My nails were chipped and very out of shape, but my manicurist was kind and friendly, and she worked carefully to give me the exact nails I pictured. She kept the station clean as she worked, and I felt as though all of the tools and work station were properly sanitized. I also decided to get a wax, and she was quick, clean, and efficient! I am truly happy with the services provided to me. My grandma has also had pedicures done here. Her feet and legs get stiff and have a lot of swelling, but the staff was super accommodating of her health issues, and they made sure to take great care of her. Every time she gets a spa pedicure, she walks out feeling amazing and with no pain in her legs! Her pedicure lasts for weeks. She left her previous salon to come here regularly. It is unfortunate other people have had bad experiences. It seems as if this salon has updated their practice, because I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. read more

I stopped coming here years ago bc every time I got a pedicure here it would chip or peel after a few days and they always overbook.. so I came today with my friend who made us appointments for 1:15pm, and they didn't take us until 2pm because all the nail techs were busy. If you come here, do not expect to be in and out.. they will make you wait well after your appointment time every. single. time. They've been doing this for years & they clearly have no care to stop over-booking. read more

Please do not go here. I had a gift card for $40 that had an expiration date of 12/26/20 on it. When I went to use it after me and my daughter getting our nails done on December 26th, the woman refused to take it saying it expired on December 24th. And that the date of the 26th the man wrote on the gift card when my sister bought it was actually 24. Because of that they lost 2 customers. I will never set foot in that nail salon again. They basically kept the money from the gift card without providing any service to me at all. Why would I go back to a nail salon that treats their customers so poorly? Please beware, they only care about taking your money and not their customers. If I could give them zero stars I would. Go to any other nail salon in the area but this one. read more

This place does not sanitize their tools and will give you a fungal infection. I have been going here for about 4 months and the last visit was 12/12/17. The tech who did my nails spoke very little to no English, she applied super glue underneath all my nails, when I asked her several times what she was doing, she just nodded her head. I have filed a report with the BBB and the Camden County NJ board of Health. I do not believe the girls working there are here legally so I also contacted ISIS to report them, hoping they get shut down The nails I had were acrylic, I did not get Gel Nails there, I had them do my Fill in every 2 weeks. Now I am told I may never be rid of the fungus they gave me!! I do not recommend this salon at all!!!! Shame on them for not cleaning their tools properly read more

I don't know why there's so many bad reviews on this place. I have been coming here as a loyal customer for years now. I see Julie. And she does a wonderful job every single time. I have been to Gel nails quite a few times. Twice for eyebrow waxing which the girl did an excellent job and 3 times for manicures and one time for a pedi. The last time I was there was last week and had a manicure done. I only wanted a normal manicure and not a gel however since I couldn't understand my manicurist I just agreed with whatever she said and it turned out she said Gel, ugh! I hate the gel nail color and not because it doesn't look nice or last long because it does. It is just so darn hard to get off! My mistake and not hers so now I have a gel manicure that will be on these nails until it wears off! In the first week of July I had a pedi done and the woman asked about gel I said no, but because they were being done for a wedding she put a top coat on so it would last. Well it lasted! I went on a cruise at the end of August and my toes still looked they were just done. Color lasted all the way up to November. Actually the big toe still has it on it on both feet! Hey, flip flop weather is over so I'm good:) I am sorry the other reviewers had bad experienced but I never have and they are always busy so they must be doing something right! read more

Where do I start??? I only wanted to get an overlay of acrylic and get 6 nails matte...I did not get anything else, however,was charged 35$ bc they said its the same as a full set, which it is not, and no where else charges an overlay as a full set either, bc u don't use the tips and I just got regular acrylic, nothing special, she also charged me 5 dollar a hand for the matte polish on the six fingers.. my sister in law was with me got an actual full set with gel, and hers cost 35$ also. HOW??? I know, it's a rip off, not to mention my matte nails feel 100% dry, but keep smudging an hr+ later. Not to mention my nails look horrible, on top of her cutting me a bunch of times, I still don't understand how a simple acrylic overlay costs 35 dollars just as much as my sister in laws actual full set with gel??? Usually this is my favorite place to go, but I started to realize over the past couple years it seems like they stop trying once you go there for refills for a while. Last night my mom and I was went in for a refill like we have been for the past couple months. We walk in at 6:30pm and they close at 7:30pm we asked them several times if they have time to do our nails and if they don't we would come back tomorrow. So they tell us yes and insist they have time to do our nails. We sat there till almost 7:30 when they close for somebody to actually sit us down at a station and start our nails! Then as my lady begins to do my nails with the Dremel drill she's going so hard and fast trying to rush she's burning almost every single finger with it, trying to get off my gel nail polish. She then continued to be rough with me pulling my hands and shoving them towards me as she was done each hand, through each step of the process. I didn't realize till the end and my nails were painted with sparkly pink sheer color that she missed parts of the polish on almost every finger and you can see it through the polish. Then last but most disturbing part, after she finishes my nails I see her filing her nails and using the same tools as she did on my nails and puts them back in her desk/station for later use. I almost didn't go to Gel Nails and Spa because of the other two reviews I read, but they were referred to me through word of mouth so I thought I'd try them anyway because they are close to home. I just came back from getting a Mani/Pedi and couldn't be happier with the results. Kathy, the Manager, made my ragged nails look beautiful; not only because it's her job, but because she took meticulous care and pride in her work. My nails will never be naturally long but this is the best my hands have looked in years. The pedicure I received was purely delightful as I received the greatest leg and foot massage ever! I walked out of the salon feeling like a new woman and I only received the very basic product. Next time I will try the Spa Pedicure because I can't imagine how much better it could possibly be. The difference between something good and something great is attention to detail and I sure lucked out today! Stop in and try them out; I highly recommend Gel Nails and Spa in Atco. read more
