Mani, pedi for 2. I tried calling all day to set up a 2:15 appt could never get through the line was busy.All day long.So I drove over to go in and let them know that myself and my girlfriend would like to sit together for our mani pedi. While they got the pedicures right, we were side by side.But when it came to the manicures, we were across the room from each other. Not to mention the man who did my pedicure, and my manicure was so rough and needs to learn to be a little easier on women for sure. Then, I have picked the same nail color as my girlfriend. Which I was screened in my face by another employee.There that the color he had was the same, and it clearly was not .We were both having our nails done the same color for a function. He's luckyI tipped him because I worked in the service industry myself and I just would not tip a person that performed any type of a service.But that being said, I will never return this place was horrible.The treatment was horrible.He didn't even paint half of one of my toenails. Today was my first day visiting this nail salon. Staff more concerned with getting customers in and out over cleanliness. When I sat in the chair for my pedicure, I told staff that the water felt very gritty. The staff member total disregarded my concerns and said it is clean it is good. They went onto ask which pedicure package i would like. However they were out of all packages except the most important one. Will not return to salon. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service!! Will never again return.. my daughter and I were long time customers as a matter of convenience but never again!! From this day forward I will trash talk this business to everyone I know, do not do business here if you want your nails or lashes or brows done right! It's appalling the amount of money being spent on nails and lashes to have your lashes fall out in less than 48 hours, and they won't do anything about it, nothing! I came in for a manicure I was half way done and they said I have to pay before I get a coat which makes zero sense I asked does everyone have to do that she said yes. This vendor is very dishonest and, I will be filing something with the States Attorney because when you're getting a service done they're to fix any corrections well that did not happen. I paid $50 for a pedicure and then $60 for my nails on September 7, 2022. My nails looked decent for the first few days, but then they looked like a fill-in was needed it was not even a week. I phoned the company and some guy answered, I explained the issue but couldn't come in until the next day that time was after 3 pm. I spotted the individual who completed my nails, she was sitting getting a manicure completed by a co-worker, and she looked at me nonchalantly. I was a stranger, I paid this person $115, then tipped her as well, as the person who did my nails but with (CASH). She stated she did not know me, I stated you just did my nails a few days ago. Now, if you did not know me why would you want to see my nails?? Then tell me you're not going to fix them. She called herself getting smart. I wanted to slap the ****out of her because that's very unprofessional. I walked out, and I did file a claim with the bank and they denied it this company told my bank, I tipped this individual $40 who does that, Gel nail takes a long time processing credit card transactions. I just recently found out that this establishment has been taking tips from customers who may be tipping with cash and then taking other gratuity tips on top of what we're paying look at the receipts here are a few they owe me $155 and, I want my money they owe me more, but they're not worth it plus they talk in their language because they see us African American women all the same, but they're lying and being deceiving behind our backs and it stops with me. My has it changed not very clean all the staff was either out front smoking or in the pedicure area on there phones and iPads no one really spoke to me and I had one person do the pedicure and another do my nails neither gentleman spoke. One of the employees walking pass happened to ask me what color not my nail tech. All in all $50 wasted I'm going back to JZ nails on Indianapolis Tommy is the best and worth the wait. When I tried to stop the manicurist to let her know this it going terribly wrong she rolled her eyes and said I don't understand. Went on there during my work break. Mind you I'm a guy coming in for a pedicure Simple right? Nope some lady not sure her name wasn't that delightful did my feet. She didn't do a thorough job. It seems it was all about the money because she offered me a massage for $15 extra!? I declined so I told her I just do buff shine on nails instead of clear coat. She never mentioned that it was an additional $5. I don't mind paying for good service but I'll never be back. They do a half job and she just blew her tip. I wanted to like this place because the location is so convenient for me. I went in for a wax. They were very quick and it was only $10 but I guess you get what you pay for. I came home to look and how smooth and hairless my skin was and it was not. I had so many long hairs left that should have been so easy to remove but I had to tweeze them myself. Pretty disappointed. I wanted to try a new place so I stopped in on a Saturday around noon. I should've known something was off when there was no wait during one of the busiest times for a nail salon. Went in for a pedi & mani. First, I bought my own polish & they tried to charge me $15 extra saying the polish I bought was no chip, & it wasn't. So I go buy another polish next door. The guy who did my pedi did a terrible job. I had to show him the spots he was missing, multiple times. Then he tried to only put 1 coat of polish on. Also, the tools laid out for my pedi were rusted & previously used. I had to ask for new ones. I should've left at this point, but I hoped the mani would go better. The guy doing my mani tried to used that mechanical nail file on my real nails, which I hate because it thins my nails so much. Had to tell him no. Then he continues with my mani & it's looking not so bad. He shaped my nails pretty well. But he didn't treat/shape my cuticles. Then when applying my overlay he made my nails very thick. If you're a fan of that cool, but I'm not. Overall I give them 2 stars because they were fast, somewhat friendly, and the prices weren't too high. But the service was subpar. read more

Ive been here a number of times. Its real hit or miss. The environment is clean. The equipment is sterilized. The prices are good, not too expensive. Its best to go there early in the week and early afternoon. When they have time and its not busy, the service and nails are quality. If the they are busy, they do a quick and sloppy job. read more

Horrible place. You are seated right away however I think they intentionally do a horrible job. I was there for a pedicure. The guy comes over to polish, I thought '' maybe he thought I was getting a polish change' but no. I finally got water in the bowl but when I asked about the power that's supposed to go in, he squirted lotion in it. Fast forward feet soaked ready to get started, here he was with the polish again! No remover for my current polish and ho file and tools for the pedicure. I ask the manager politely if I could be taken care of by someone else, she rolled her eyes and turned back to her IPAD. Horrible experience! I came in thinking I was going to leave out with a freshly done pedicure, but my feet actually looked much better before I walked in. My feet soaked for exactly 18 minutes before someone came over and took care of me.(I actually didn't mind that part ). Once the woman started the pedicure her regular walked in (I'm assuming) and tapped her on the back. She immediately rushed and missed multiple steps. I'm in town needing a touch up on my current french-tip manicure so I found this spot on yelp. A young man with high-lights in his hair took me immediately! I explained that I wanted a color change/touch up on my manicure and one big toe (I know...strange, but the polish was chipped and it was not a good look)! He finished my big toe then moved on to my nails. I noticed that he wasn't doing a thorough job so I had to ask him to repaint about 4 nails, especially the corners! He willingly fulfilled my request without incident, however, i was charged $9 for the repaint and one toe (a color change is usually $5) !! to add injury to insult, by the end of the next day, 6 of the 11 nails painted were chipped (all fingers)!!!! Needless to say, I will not be returning, despite the nice customer service! read more

The tech told me i needed a new set so he proceeded to take them off with his plyers and a nail. It was excruciating and I told him so 3 times!!!! The only reason they are even getting 1 star is because the man that did my pedicure did a good job. Now the man who did my over lay did a HORRIBLE job!!!! He filed my nails so hard , he actually took the side of my nail off on 2 different nails!!! After trying some other local nail shops I was very unsatisfied with the service as well as some of the shops themselves. I drive past Gel Nails quite often as its right by Walmart so I looked them up one day to read the reviews. I was surprised by how many great reviews they have so I decided to give them a try. I could not be happier I have finally found my favorite nail salon. The people are very friendly and conversational, they are very professional and get you in as quick as possible, the service is great and they are very attentive, the shop is beautiful and spacious, and the prices are great as well. I went in very late one evening thinking they may not take me since it was close to closing time but I noticed they take customers right up until closing time. They did an excellent job on my nails and I will definitely be going back as a regular customer. Its nice to see business that truly appreciate their customers.
