First time going to an optometrist in about 25 years. I don't have insurance, so I paid full price. I didn't feel like anything was explained (as far as the procedure itself or my "diagnosis") and I felt *very* rushed. I had no clue that having my eyes dilated would leave me blind for a couple hours...that would have been good to know, as I didn't have a ride and had errands to run before going home. Price is $58 for an exam, but she did an extra test on me that brought it up to $80. In and out in about 10 minutes or less, which seemed awfully quick. Unfortunately I do not recommend this office. read more

I can't believe no one has wrote a review of Dr Pham. She is and her husband Peter are amazing! They have the best service I've ever had. They're very nice, professional, knowledgeable. They make you feel at home. You pay for the eye exam and they let you try different kinds of contacts until you find the most comfortable for you. They give you all kinds of goodies. They gave me a week supply of contacts to try. Then they gave me a 2-week pair the second time. I even got a few boxes of cleaning liquid and stuff. I am really happy with the service and I love my contacts. This is the first time I'm completely satisfied with both the accuracy of the prescription and the comfort of the lenses. I walked in at Sam's club, had seen the office in the past. I knew it had been over two years since my last exam. I asked if they had any openings for an appointment and the young man at the counter said they could surely fit me in. The office is small and very efficient with a clean nice look. My pre exam was completed quickly and moments later the doctor was ready. She was very pleasant and super professional. Went right through the exam and examined a spot in my eye where I had a previous surgery. All was well new prescription in hand in about 30 minutes. Took notch service and Gemie and her baby are cute as could be. read more

If you need an accurate prescription then go elsewhere. I had to go back 3 times to get rechecked and the last time I had to pay again since I had my glasses remade 4 times (not the lab's fault) over the course of two months and I was past their 60 day limit. The staff is courteous but I always felt like I was being rushed once I was sitting in the chair. The last time I asked if I could wear trial glasses to make sure the prescription was correct and the doctor reluctantly accepted and then seemed annoyed when I asked for some adjustments. I have a strong prescription and they clearly don't understand how important it is to take the time to get it right since a tiny bit can throw everything off. They just want to get you in and out as quickly as possible. I'm waiting for my glasses now, they should be ready in a week, I just hope they come out ok this time... read more

This was my time for the appointment with Dr. Pham I already have taken in three other family members. I can only say this small office inside of Sam's Club is the greatest experience all the down to the receptionist. Let's face it. Most optometrist are the same but this office has charm and personality. Dr. Pham explained my eyesight dilemma perfectly and concisely. I will go here for all my regular exams now. read more

Alright, I know what your thinking. Another "5 stars", really? No one is THAT good. You know, your right. No ONE PERSON is really that good. It takes a team. You will be amazed how flawlessly both Dr. Pham and Elvira work together. What this means to you is professional service, not just while your eyes are being checked, but from the moment you step into the office. The one person that can make or break a practice. Elvira is courteous and does her job with a pleasant demeanor. While Dr. Pham is with other patients, Elvira does the initial workup and is very thorough in doing so. But let's address the elephant in the room. Yes it's in Sam's club. But if that means to you that you get cheap service at a cheap price, your half wrong. It is inexpensive, but the service is exactly what you would get at any Independent Optometrist, if not better. I am speaking from experience as I have spent my whole life going to Independent Optometrist's and they are good. The problem is they have to pay for the overhead and as we all know that's not cheap. Don't be fooled by Dr. Pham's young looks. Looming behind that innocent exterior is an Optometrist on a mission. Dr. Pham takes her time, and is extremely detailed and meticulous. It is obvious that she takes pride in her profession and is not finished until fully satisfied that you have been completely, methodically, comprehensively, turn your head to the left and cough, checked over. There is one thing though, that Elephant that I spoke of earlier, you won't have to worry about it in this office, it is much too small. But just like Dr. Pham, great things come in small packages. I've been seeing Dr. Pham for about 4 years now and she is great! Appointments always run on-time and never longer than expected. Dr. Pham is extrememly efficient. She steps-in to preform the visual fields herself and even answers the office phone! I used to work in an optometry myself and i know that no short cuts are made here. She is informative, knowledgeable and personable. I never feel like I'm actually in an appointment. She is very pleasant and easy to talk to.. like an old friend. Her office is small, yet runs very smoothly and her receptionist is very nice as well. Dr Pham is honest and will not up-sell you on products. She is such a great doctor, I go out-of-network on my vision insurance to see her and pay cash, she's worth it! read more

I went in to get contacts for the first time and she was very informative and helped me be comfortable and relaxed.
