The homemade bagels were fantastic. Crispy, chewy, fresh. 10/10 - no notes. GET A BAGEL! The bitro cold brew was rich and chocolatey and thick - so good! The ham and cheese croissant lacked the laminated layers we expect from quality croissants - and was almost overcooked. This one was a miss. The savory tarte was OK but lacked depth of flavor. Some herbs and acid would have helped offset the salty cheese. Overall a quality spot we'd definitely return to if again in the area.

Very friendly staff! The hummus and veggie wrap was delicious. Hummus tasted very good. Got it on a wheat wrap

TLDR/ stop here get a coffee get a brownie and immediately put a smile on your face Made a quick stop for a coffee fix at this cute Bethel Café. We just made it they close at 3:00 and we got there at 2:45. Ordered a coffee and a iced tea, but couldn't resist the brown butter brownies Yum Coffee was delicious, very nice mellow. My iced tea turned out to be an iced tea lemonade, the person taking my order misheard me, but that's OK because the ice tea lemonade was delicious too so not a big deal. Super friendly service everyone said hello how are you doing, Have a nice day Definitely stop here

We love this cafe. Food, decor, service are all top notch. Love all the local goods for sale. And pro tip: do not sleep on the tahini bar!! Omg we have dreamt about it... seriously delicious!

This place has so much charm and character! Definitely can tell that this is the neighborhood place to be. My trip to experience this coffee shop was a little chaotic. This was busy, which is always good for small businesses. Lots of yummy goodness is available for you to try! Coffee is yummy but wish I could've tasted more of the blackberry vanilla syrup in my iced latte but nevertheless good coffee. Staff greeted us with smiling faces however it became slightly uncomfortable when a staff member rolled their eyes when they called my child a boy and I corrected them that "they" were not a boy. The merch available is creative and handmade. And there is lots of coffee to take home. Happy Yelping!

We stopped here for breakfast before going to the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum (which is right across the street) and I'm glad we did. You could tell from how busy it was, that people like this place. To drink, I got a chai latte. It was a sweeter chai tea that was really tasty and had a nice layer of milk foam. I love that they used locally made mugs for the drinks (which you can also buy). To eat I got a chocolate chip pumpkin scone and an egg & cheddar bagel sandwich. The pastries were so good and tasted freshly baked. The cafe itself had a cozy feel, there isn't a lot of seating since it is small, but we were able to get a table.

Absolutely the best danishes I've ever had in my life after traveling the world. Every item we tried on the menu is delicious and they even have gluten free! Espresso was great and their cups are made from a local potter and adorable! Manager is amazing; popping out her head when the cashier doesn't have the answer but in a polite way. That is how you run a successful business, not being aloof and popping in when needed. Everyone was very warm and kind. The vibe is perfect, always a parking spot or table outside despite how busy they are. We always get lucky! My waistline would be in trouble if I lived here but it will be forever missed when we leave! (and will always be that establishment we compare every cafe to) Thank you so much for being our favorite part of Bethel!

The food here was good but definitely a little expensive for what it's worth. There was a lot of people there and the staff were cranking out orders. I wasn't the biggest fan but I could see how people like it

My family has a vacation home in Greenwood, and we frequent this bakery. Everything is fresh, delicious and made to order. They rotate their bread thursday - monday, with different options like olive and honey wheat. They have pastries, sourdough bagels, brownies, any drink you can work up, and more. We've been back time and time again. Today we ordered an orange poppy scone, salted caramel brownie (GF!) We also ordered a pastrami on seeded rye which was delicious. They are kind and accommodating, giving a proper taste of what Maine has to offer

Based on the reviews, I made a special drive out there but learned that they have rebranded and…read morethey no longer sell pie. I like to try to support small businesses so I will say that the people in line seemed pretty intent on getting their coffee, but I was super bummed to not return back to our group with a (vegan) fruit pie. I bought some muffins (blueberry was vegan) and a cinnamon roll and they were good.

All my Jane Austen fans lock in:…read more I was caught in that in between space of lunch which I missed and dinner which was a a few hours off at a potluck party. I Yelped this place (keep those reviews coming kids) and thought maybe I'd try to grab a savory chicken pot pie hand pie or something to tide me over. I didn't realize the pot pies were like dinner size lmao so I had to regroup. They had blueberry pie!! Now this is not remarkable in itself but all I wanted for my bday was to go to Acadia and have a lobster roll and blueberry pie on the big day and I had to change my plans for the SECOND year in a row. So in the words of Denzel I said to myself, "I'm leaving here with something." So I got a maple latte - lord. This is probably my fave coffee flavor - and a small blueberry pie for myself. There's a scene in the Colin Firth version of Pride and Prejudice where Mariah Lucas is panicking over how to pack her trunk based on what busybody Lady Catherine DeBerg advised her. Here comes Lizzy Bennett, "Mariah those are your trunks. You pack them the way you want." OK well Amanda G this is your pie and if you want to eat a pie for lunch in your car then you do it. And did. 20/10. Did do again. The next day. With an apple cinnamon muffin and a maple latte.
