Yes we hired Scott and John about two months ago they installed 8 recessed cam lights in our family room. They did a beautiful job of installing the cam lights they look really nice. But when we turn them on three or four of the canned lights blink on and off. So we called them and told them the problem, they came out and they couldn't correct them. They said that they had to go back and check and see why they would not turn on immediately. We have called them three times but they will not return our calls. They are ignoring us. This is not good business. We are extremely disappointed. We thought they were really great guys. read more

Update : they told me I didn't need a permit for the size of panel that they were putting in and then when I went to go get Solar the solar people said yes we need to see your permit so I call gen4 electric And ask for them to please pull the permit since the city says I can't pull it myself the contractor has to do it and I called and called and called and I get excuse after excuse after excuse and I'm even going to pay for their time and the permit of course I'm not asking them to do anything for free and still no help from gen4 so can you guess who doesn't have solar? I called and called and called and they gave me so many excuses-do not recommend at all!! read more

I lost power to 10 outlets in my house. So being the man I am, I decided to research this and fix it myself. Did I mention the one thing I fear the most is electricity because it is invisable and can kill you? Several weeks later and after several hours of replacing all my outlets, I called GEN4 and really glad I did. They arrived on time and went straight to work. The two electricians began testing the outlets and located the problem. One of my outlets had overheated, making the wiring brittle and eventually broke. They fixed the problem and within one hour and a half, the issue I had been messing with for WEEKS, was fixed. Professional Knowledgeable And awesome service. We had an electrical issue that was causing further issues with our carbon monoxide sensor. Needless to say, dealing with carbon monoxide can be scary. Contacted Scott of Gen 4 Electric to install or relocate a ceiling fan. Scott and John arrived as scheduled. Scott was exceptionally courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. John did an excellent job relocating the ceiling fan, and Scott checked the circuit breaker system, and installed a new breaker. Scott provided competitive and reasonable estimates for two future electrical projects; i.e, run line, and install an outlet to the outside upstairs balcony, as well as run line and install outlet, to the barbecue grill in the back yard.
