The installation crew came out and they were EVEN better than the customer service and sales rep. Eduardo Naranjo needs a promotion and a raise. The man was so humble, genuine and all around a great guy. He dealt with my kids and many dogs with no fear lol. He was professional and kept me apprised of everything the crew was doing. The company that manufactured (and guaranteed) the rooftop modules, Fafco, went out of business last November. My warranty was with Pure PWR and not Fafco, so I wasn't worried about being left in the lurch. A couple of weeks ago one of the Fafco panels sprung a leak, and I called Pure PWR to deal with it. They sent out a repairman who fixed the problem without needing to replace the damaged panel. Pure PWR didn't charge me a penny for this, because they were honoring their warranty. I'm updating my review here to say how impressed I am with how well they honored their warranty even though the deck was stacked against them. They could have waved their hands and mumbled something about how it wasn't their fault -- which it wasn't -- but that's not what they did. They honored the warranty, fixed the problem, and didn't charge me anything. Yay for Pure PWR Pools.

They sent Travis out promptly, who is their electrician where he found that the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty 40-amp breaker that was intermittently providing the necessary voltage, even though measurements initially appear correct. While the breaker issue caused real inconvenience and unexpected costs on my end, the owner was responsive and showed willingness to smooth things over to work toward a resolution. I also want to highlight that the panel upgrade and solar/battery installation itself was clean and well done. The workmanship that Eddie, Manny, Christian and Jamie performed had overall met my expectations, and once the issue was identified, Sunline did step in to correct it. No project is perfect, but how a company responds when problems arise matters a lot. In this case, Sunline's owner and Eric was engaged, responsive, and made a sincere effort to make things right. As an engineer, and after witnessing the symptoms and corrective actions firsthand, I believe the breaker issue was likely a manufacturing defect, and it was unfortunate that it occurred during the holidays. That said, based on how Sunline handled the situation, the overall quality of their work, and the value they offer, I would recommend them and plan to continue using them for future needs.

I had a 21-panel solar system installed by Baker Electric in March 2015 using LG280S1C-B3 panels…read more In February 2025, I received an Enphase notification that one panel had stopped producing power. I contacted Baker Electric expecting a straightforward warranty process since I was advised the panel was still under warranty. Instead, I was told the original panel model was no longer available and that I would be responsible for paying the cost difference for a newer replacement panel. I was also advised Baker Electric would charge approximately $1,600 just to come out and diagnose the failed panel. Then, after the replacement panel arrived, I was told there would be another approximately $1,600 charge to return and install the replacement panel into the existing array. So, from my understanding, even with a warranted failed panel, the total out-of-pocket cost to the customer could still be around $3,200+. I understand warranties can have limitations, especially regarding labor versus equipment, but this experience was surprising and not at all what I expected after investing in a professionally installed solar system from a well-known company. I'm posting this so other customers understand what they may encounter years later if a panel fails outside of any labor coverage window. I would strongly encourage anyone considering solar installation to carefully review all workmanship, diagnostic, service-call, and replacement labor terms before signing a contract.
