I was visiting the Miami Area for liposuction of my abs, flanks, back and the Adonis Procedure in which I had fat transferred to my Biceps, Triceps, Shoulders and chest.. Hello every one! I went to Gen Spa this weekend with my daughter. WE had a mother daughter day filled with a massage, detox and facial. I started with a full body massage give by Gen. I thought that I had had a massage once before, but it did not compare! Gen was amazing! It was so relaxing!! I could not believe how I felt!! Next, the massage therapist wrapped my whole body to get rid of the toxins. I was sweating like crazy but did not even realize it. While the toxins were being removed from my body, I was receiving a facial & scalp massage. I have not felt this good in a long time!!! My daughter received the same treatment but in reverse. My 2 sisters came to visit from New Jersey and wanted to go to a spa while they were down here. I also moved down recently so I have not been to one down in south FL yet. Yelp is my go to for reviews and this spa had 5 stars so we decided to give it a try. It was a Sunday and I booked last minute. Although they only had 2 therapists, they accommodated us. I'm so glad I went as Gen and Michelle took really good care of us. This place was not really about the ambience, but the service, which was excellent. We happen to be on vacation in the area and had driven down from New Jersey - the drive was long. My mom woke up feeling like her upper back was so tight, tense and heavy she couldn't turn her neck. We made an appointment with Gen and it was the BEST treatment my mom has gotten, she went back the next day for a second massage. The soreness and muscle strains she had also been feeling for months before the visit also got much better. She feels light and comfortable again, like a new person! Gen really knows what she is doing and does her very best to understand the customer's needs so she can customize the service to their specific problem. This place is amazing!!! I have been to Gen Spa twice in the past year (I live in NY) and both times I received the best massages I have ever had. The first time I went in for a facial and a Swedish massage the second time I received a pre natal massage. The massage therapists here are incredible. Wow! Gen Spa is a wonderful place. While vacationing in Florida my lower back became tight and painful. I made an appointment at Gen Spa because the reviews were very positive. When I arrived Gen the owner greeted me and made me feel very comfortable. Gen gave me the 'trigger point pressure' which targeted the area that was bothering me. Wow it was amazing how I starting feeling relief. After about 30 minutes of this trigger point pressure method Gen gave me an hour massage. I went to Gen Spa because of a neck pain. I wasn't able to move it at all. I went to the chiropractor to have it adjusted , but I had no result, it actually got worse. So I came across Gen Spa website and read the reviews and gave it a try, since I don't like taking medications. I have a membership with a massage chain and go every two weeks to get relief from shoulder and neck pain, so while vacationing in Pompano Beach area I reviewed the local massage chain but decided against setting up an appointment due to the reviews. My friend refered to Gen Spa because I workout a lot and needed a very good deep tissue massage. I went there and was greeted by Gen. My first impression was very positive. Shez is such an awsome person with great personality, passion for her work to help people and balanced spiritual person, and very friendlyand nice person. She gave a 1 hr deep tissue massage and honestly it was the best deep tissue I had, I wasn't expecting it as she is only 5ft tall :) but very strong and very good technique to get to the troubled area. First walked (actually crawled) into Genspa due to some severe lower back-pain I experienced surfing a few months ago. They had a very flexible schedule so I was able to get in a few times the first week. The staff was knowledgeable and polite. I learned what I thought was chronic back pain was due to some muscle imbalance and flexibility issues in my hips and legs. I am very fortunate to have discover Gen's spa while staying in Pompano beach for the winter. I have been suffering from neck, shoulder and ankle pain for a number of years.
