It was all SO good and fresh-- pho rice noodles, a plate with lime, fresh basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños to add at will. Very flavorful, savory beef broth. I'm so happy this exists here. I've been hoping someone would start a restaurant with pho/sushi/curry, and they did all three. And it was all SOO good. I could probably eat here every day. I'm excited to try everything on their menu.

Tonight was a prime rib night so it was busy but there seemed to be plenty of staff to manage service. All 4 times I've felt as though my family and I were a large inconvenience to the waitress, each time we have been billed incorrectly. It is not difficult to tell there are several regulars there, they are treated very differently. We will not be driving the distance again.

This restaurant is divided into two parts: one side is where they have a hibachi table and a chef cooking the food in front of you... The other is just a regular sit down restaurant where they bring the food to you already prepared. When we went, my wife and I both had the New York strip and chicken hibachi meals. These came with miso soup and a salad. The salad is dressed with Yum Yum sauce. I would say that the salad was good, but it was really only about half full and there could've been more salad in the bowl. Soup was also very good and it also could have been more full. Those are the only negative things if you want to call them that which I would have to say. The food was excellent. Overall hibachi was the best I've had since Ohio. Upon walking in, I was very surprised at the place as it reminded more of an old diner than a steakhouse. Open since 1946, Murphy's looks like it's been around that long. Lined with red leather seated booths, there was no place for our group of nine to sit except for a round corner booth where we all crammed into like sardines. The menu was quaint, filled with mainly diner dishes and comfort foods. I decided on the favorite, the "Hot Hamburger", which was basically a hamburger on toast, topped with french fries and onions, coated with brown gravy. Service was fine given the fact they were packed with patrons when we arrived. The food was hot and fresh, including the homemade french fries. Everyone in our group seemed content with their food choices. The only real problem was how we were crammed into one little booth and there was no room to relax and visit. We didn't have much hope of finding a restaurant still open after 8:30 in a small, rural town and worried we'd have to drive far out of our way to find something to eat, but we spied this charming bar glowing across the street. What an oasis! We walked in to find a cool watering hole with a safari theme, complete with real taxidermied African animals on the wall and creative lighting that was fun, inviting and surprisingly chic. Our waitress was helpful and nice and had great drink and food suggestions. The fare was quite good and again, more than we expected. We were impressed they graciously marked vegetarian items as such in their menu which was much appreciated by the vegetarian in our troupe. We also LOVED their version of a Long Island Iced Tea, which we highly recommend if you're ever there. It was a great place to unwind and debrief from our event and being late on a weeknight, we pretty much had the place to ourselves, so it was the perfect ending to our time in Sedan.
