    Worst customer service, bully unethical customer service. Never have i seen such unprofessional…read moreemployees. We spent two days trying to confirm with multiple corporate employees our reservation would be honored only to have the Taos NM employees make up new rules and policies and over step corporate due to wanting to power trip we assume. We are still confused to why any one would want to avoid providing a service they sell ?? The regional manager while not rude was just as bad literally said they have different policies for different areas of her region . Saying since the border is near?? Can we say racist ... what ? We had a 45 min drive with a guarantee from corporate that if this employee interfered the regional manger would step in. She did not a thing but give incorrect info that I knew was incorrect about her own policies. I cited the website and my research and corporates agreement. They don't care the employees don't and the regional manager doesn't care to lose only a few thousand dollars a year from our rentals. They are demeaning disrespectful , dishonest and no one should do business with this company anywhere in the world knowing nothing will be done to remedy this customer service fail. The money time and frustration due to this business is maddening . DO NOT support this kind of company if they don't care about each and every customer. -100stars if allowed in this day and age no excuse for this kind of customer service, these complaints on this region are everywhere and still it continues.

    When I made the reservation the 1-800 customer service lady said that I would have to call their…read moreoffice in Taos and request a pickup at the Taos airport because there are no autos at the airport. However when I later viewed the reservation online I saw that she had requested that the auto be delivered to the airport anyway. Fearing the worst, I called the Taos Enterprise office themselves - and was advised that they do not pickup customers at the airport and that we would have to find our own way from the airport to their rental office (in the town of Taos - 30 minutes away). The lady did give me the numbers of two Uber drivers who had autos large enough for our golfing party. Had I not called the local office we would have been stranded at the Taos airport. We ended up canceling our Enterprise rental before the trip even began. This was not a good experience, and it would have been disastrous had we continued with that rental. What a mess they are!!!!!

    Who would have thought there was a car rental place in Alamosa Colorado?…read more The car was great and the person who helped us was very friendly. He even gave us a larger discount that what any AAA member could get. Also, he changed the reservation so that we got a newer car with fewer miles. The drop off process was clearly explained, and easy to use no matter the time you drop off the car. The only negative was that there was no one at the counter when we arrived to pick up our car. We were surprised since we called in advance and told them what time we were flying in the day before. There was a number clearly visible on the desk, we called, someone answered, and he was at the location to help us rent a car within 15 minutes.

    Worst service ever…read more FIRST - They are NOT open at 8 am. They open at 10:30 am. And then they try to charge you if they come in early to handle the business that is incoming from United Air flights. So, they try to charge you earlier than 10:30 am even though they will not switch the return time to earlier than 10:30 am. They tried to add an additional hour to our bill b/c we drove off the lot at 10:20 am. The car was the wrong class, was not cleaned, did not have the CV19 Gold Circle of cleanliness, etc etc. We waited 20 minutes AFTER EVAN said he had to clean the car, etc. This location continually does the BAIT and SWITCH. We prepaid for a Class B on April 14, 2021. PRE-PAID $400.01. SECOND: They gave us the wrong class - DOWN SIZED us with our our approval, did not discount for the smaller car and basically told us "Take it or leave it. Wait, I PRE-PAID in April 2021 - 2 months EARLIER - why wasn't my car ready with the keys in it, sanitized and clean? EVAN did not care. So, we took the car and said we'd be returning it on Monday to get the correct vehicle. (Picked up on a Friday and they are Closed Sat and Sunday) EVAN was very snotty about the whole thing. He kept YELLING - "You rented a Class A" I had my email printed out with the confirmation showing we rented and PAID for a Class B. This is the only game in town. DO NOT LET THEM RE-WRITE YOUR CONTRACT. That is what EVAN tried to do to us, showing a new contract where we rented a Class A. We did not PRE-PAY for a Class A. We did not WANT a Class A. The car was a Chevy Spark - no room for luggage and tiny back seat. We were expecting something like a Ford Focus that seated up to 5 and a truck that could hold at least 2 piece of luggage. A Class B as shown on my original lease agreement. And forget calling Hertz corp offices. They told us we could drive 100 miles ONE way to get a different car from a different location. They REFUSED to call the local office and say "WTF, EVAN" We did go back on the following Monday, spoke with the actual MANAGER (EVAN is just a grunt employee). The Manager exchanged the car, but never really apologized for the horrible service and the BAIT and SWITCH (fraud, btw) Their service was SO BAD, that we ended up going to a used car lot and BOUGHT a cheap used car. Yes, we BOUGHT a car vs renting another day from HERTZ Most people, unfortunately, cannot do that and are stuck with this god-awful Hertz location - the ONLY car rental place in 100+ miles.
