The serviceman was new, Carlos was his name. He did not seem to know how to repair the Generator, and was on the phone talking to someone at Generac for help. He was told to break the fan out to get to the part that needed replacement. The unit was under extended warranty. This guy could not seem to fix the generator we asked for a new generator since this one had broken down twice within the first two years. Carlos contacted Generic and started the process to get a new generator, he all but promised we would get a new generator, but it took over 2.5 months to get an answer. Generac decided this generator should be fix. Carlos came back out and fixed the generator in 3 hours. Now if the generator could be fixed in 3 hours, 2.5 months later, why couldn't it be fixed back then? I lost all confidence with this company. And frankly I was surprised Carlos could actually fix the Generator. Time will tell. I am looking for a new company to do my yearly service contract. Also a big problem was that they would not provide the paperwork as to what the serviceman did until I asked for it. So I had lost confidence with Amos Electric a long time ago.

In fact, the guy from Amos Electric ( Carlos) actually made things worse. Parts are missing as well as bolts. Then when Ray tried to start the generator, he discover the motor was bad because Carlos tightened the bolts to tight. If I did not have a warranty, I would sue Amos, I told them Carlos had no idea what he was doing, I even told the Generic people he was lost. It took Generic 2.5 months to decide that because I have a warranty, Carlos should fix the Generator. Well he fixed it all right. Ray explained everything to our understanding,, we are happy to have found him and his company. Hopefully Generic will take Ray's word for the problems and get the replacement parts to us soon.

Beyond being one of the nicest people I have met in a long time, he was so incredibly kind & generous. I reached out last night for a breaker issue. He responded first thing this morning, made time for me in his schedule to come and look at my issue without a cost. He gave me an honest assessment of my issue, told me what next steps would help in the event that I have another power surge and he fixed my outlet box. To top this off, he saw an issue with my electrical box outside and stayed with me while I called Oncor to fix it. I am blessed to have found him. If you need an electrician, look no further.
